Una cómoda cama doble con una moderna ducha / WC en suite en un piso muy limpio de 2 camas y 2 baños. El segundo dormitorio está en manos de una mujer propietaria, que la mayoría de las veces no está en Londres. Además, hay un uso completo de la moderna cocina totalmente equipada con lavadora / secadora y una encantadora sala de estar / comedor independiente. El piso está en el primer piso de un encantador edificio victoriano. Muy convenientemente ubicado en el lado de Holland Park de Kensington y Chelsea. Una de las mejores y más seguras partes de Londres.   Perfecto para pareja profesional o solteros. Hay de todo para sentirse como en casa.

El dormitorio también es muy luminoso y muy acogedor. Hay una cómoda cama doble, una silla de lectura muy cómoda, mesa auxiliar, purificador / acondicionador de aire móvil y amplio espacio de almacenamiento. Se proporcionan sábanas y toallas frescas.

Sí, este es un apartamento muy seguro y muy limpio de 2 dormitorios y 2 baños. Una de las habitaciones es mantenida por el propietario, que es una economista, trabaja y viaja al extranjero la mayor parte del tiempo. 

El dormitorio principal con ducha / WC en suite junto con la cocina y la sala de estar se alquila con un precio de alquiler menor que los apartamentos similares en la zona. Porque solo a veces, la cocina podría compartirse con el propietario, una mujer soltera amable y tranquila, solo si está en Londres. Si no está en Londres, el dueño cierra su habitación y deja el apartamento al huésped. Incluso si estoy en Londres. Estoy fuera o trabajando en mi habitación, por lo que el huésped nunca me ve. 

Como resultado, este es definitivamente el lugar adecuado para disfrutar de Londres en una casa privada bien cuidada con el precio medio en comparación con los autosuficientes similares en el área.

Great apartment/Great Location

Our host met us well before check in as we arrived very early. And she made us feel totally at ease and welcome. The location was terrific with restaurants & shops close by as was the Tube stop and lovely Park around the corner. Great find!

Great Peaceful Location!

Just my husband and I stayed in the apartment and it was a sanctuary in our very busy itinerary. The location was great, just a short walk to Holland Park, a bus stop and train station, a hair salon, restaurants and quick shops and tree lined streets with beautiful historic architecture. The apartment is very peaceful and quiet. Great stay, hope to get the same place again.

Great location

I had a great stay at Maria's apartment. I had exclusive use of it for my 8-day stay in London. It's clean and situated in a nice neighbourhood, with shops and the tube within 10-minute walk. Maria was responsive to messages and gave detailed instructions as to how to get to the apartment from the airport.

Living in London

The flat was so welcoming, I felt like I lived in London. Rarely when I have traveled have I felt so relaxed. The location is close to the Underground and bus routes. There are two pubs close by as well as a supermarket, two green grocers as well as two wine shops. I will return!

We loved staying here. Maria rents out her flat when not there so you're staying in someone's home which was a little weird at first but we quickly got used to it. Two rooms are not available but the rest was very spacious and comfortable. Guest room and on-suite bath were a nice size, and bed was comfortable. There is a large living area with TV, a dining room and a kitchen with W/D, dishwasher, and full size fridge. I did not do any cooking but it looked to be well stocked with pans, appliances, etc.The location is GREAT for central London. It is less than a 10 minute walk from the flat to the Holland Park tube station which is on the Central Line. Nottinghill Gate and Portobello Road are less than a mile walk (or you can take the tube). Shephards Bush and Westfield shopping center are also a mile away. Super easy from LHR-take the Elizabeth line to Ealing Broadway and change to the Central Line. On either side of the Holland Park tube station are several grocery stores, 2 pubs, coffee shops and miscellaneous other stores. There is a wonderful French restaurant called Julie's on Portland Rd maybe 3 blocks off Holland Avenue.Maria checked with us before and during our stay to be sure we had everything we needed. Check in was easy as she left a key with the building's porter. And she responded very quickly when we had some questions upon arrival.I would highly recommend staying here-great location, comfortable, safe, and clean.

Home away from home

My daughter and I really enjoyed staying at this flat - it was a great location, close to the Tube, stores, sights, and safe to walk at night. The flat was so clean, had all the amenities we needed, plenty of room to unpack and recover after hours of sightseeing. We had privacy in our bedroom and bath, but also were able to have time getting to know Maria, our gracious host. The washer and dryer combo helped us - especially my daughter who had been in London 2 weeks at another place and needed clothes washed! We would recommend this flat highly to everyone and hope to visit again.

Expect the basics

Overall this property was exactly what we wanted. It was a good location for us. However we did pay a premium price without the everyday basics we have come to expect from a Virbo booking. There were no instructions on how to work the television. Throughout ore entire stay we had no hot water.

Dear Annette, Via text messages, I asked you several times if you needed anything. You always told me you did not. If you had informed me that you did not have hot water, I could have advised you to turn the switch for the hot water tank on. I usually turn it off when I am not in London. Nevertheless, I thank you for highlighting this to me. Currently, I have been making sure the hot water is on, on the day the guest arrive:)) Regarding the price you paid, please note that the long-term rental price (12 months minimum) of this flat is £6000.00 pm exclusive on the market. So, the price you paid is intact much cheaper than the similar ones. I only rent it out from time to time to get the bill paid while I am not there. And others may also enjoys the flat and the area where too difficult to get such a flat with such price.. The instructions for the TV were also in the drawer underneath the TV. Best wishes

As Advertised

This flat is as advertised. It is a good size, clean, and neat. There is considerable light and air. The building is quiet and secure. The appliances are relatively new and function properly. The landlady is cooperative and friendly. The flat is within easy walking distance of the Holland Park tube station, a bus stop, shops and restaurants. You can also walk a bit further, through the lovely Holland Park, to High Street Kensington, with its shops, restaurants and tube station.

Absolutely perfect

The flat is even prettier than in the photos -full of light and airy and full of plants. The shower was modern and had excellent water pressure and the bedroom was full of closet space. It was so pleasant that we caught ourselves calling it home rather than the flat. We had excellent communication with Maria, who was flexible about our check in time and responsive when we texted with a question. The location is close to the Holland Park tube stop on the Central Line, and that got us everywhere we wanted to go easily. the immediate neighborhood has various restaurants, a pharmacy, several groceries and other useful places. There's even an entrance to the actual Holland Park nearby -for exercise or just feeding the birds and squirrels. We've come to London several times now and this is by far our favorite flat. We'll definitely look for it next time we plan to be in London!

A lucky find!

I have just returned from a three week stay in this lovely flat. There are many reasons to highly recommend it. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood, filled with amazing homes, and right across the street from a lovely park. It is close to public transportation, both buses and the Central Underground line. There are cafes, pubs, grocery stores and pharmacies close by. The flat itself is comfortable, bright and sunny, with all you need to feel at home (full kitchen, washer, dishwasher, great shower, and a comfortable bed). Finally, the host (Maria) is awesome! She made me feel welcome and at home, so accommodating and generous. She was in residence while I was there, but she made it clear that this was my home and to treat it as such. We each did our own thing, and we got along wonderfully. I can’t recommend it highly enough, especially if you are a solo female traveler. It's a really safe area, close to everything - I feel really lucky to have found this lovely flat!

Wonderful Flat!

My sister and I spent an amazing 8 days early December 2012. The apartment was perfect – bright, sunny and very comfortable. All the amenities of home! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you needed to prepare meals. Very quiet, residential area – we felt very safe no matter how late we came home. Great location –the flat was within easy walking distance to Kensington High Street & Shepherd’s Bush tube stations and bus stops. There were lots of shops and restaurants within the area. Close to major attractions – was able to walk to Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park. The apartment is on the top floor of a house and you must climb 3 flights of stairs – may be an issue if you have mobility problems. Maria was fantastic – just an email away if you had any questions. She was in town for 3 days and we were very comfortable sharing the flat – she is very warm and inviting and we felt as if we were visiting an old friend. The highest compliment I can give is that I felt as if I was staying in my own home. I will definitely come back!

Disappointed

Clean and spacious with en suite bath and lots of bedroom storage. It was a nice area and the building was secure. That’s where the positives end. Terribly hot in the flat, only one fan in the bedroom, wasn’t able to use the living room as it was too hot. The dining room chairs were so flimsy and wobbly, they were unusable. Bed made so much noise. Disgusting, rusted shower shelf for soap. Towel hook fell off the wall. I was cooking, for the second time, when part of the electricity went out. The owner blamed me, accused me of running something that caused it. The only thing I did differently was to turn on the fan over the stove. I even went into her dusty closet to check the fuse box for her. She sent out an electrician while I was out for the day. She didn’t bother to tell me that the issue was resolved, I had to reach out to her. Then she accused me of flipping a switch that caused it. I didn’t touch anything until after the power went out to try to resolve the the issue. I watered the plants for her. I ran three loads of laundry with no problems. On the fourth load, when I opened the door, water poured out. I asked if there was a mop and she blamed me again. I had to use the towels I had previously washed and dried just to clean it up. The Holland Park tube station was closed 4 times during my 7 day visit due to lack of staffing.

Dear Joy, I’m sorry to hear that your trip to London did not go as you had hoped. However, I would like to address some points mentioned in your review. 1. Regarding the electricity issue, I sent an electrician as soon as you informed me of the problem. The electrician found that the main switches had been turned off by yourself, cutting power to the kitchen appliances. There were no faults with the wiring or appliances. I kindly asked you to avoid touching the main switches so that the issue would not recur during your stay. 2. Concerning the washer-dryer, you mentioned in your review that you successfully ran three loads of laundry, but on the fourth load, water spilled when you opened the door. You later informed me that the issue was caused by an error on your part while doing your fourth load of washing. It’s unfortunate that this caused inconvenience, but as you confirmed, the problem wasn’t with the machine itself. I understand that you were likely exhausted after your travels around Europe, and attempting to wash multiple loads of laundry upon arrival must have been overwhelming. Additionally, I must mention that you are the only guest who has reported cleanliness issues or had difficulties using the kitchen appliances. Regarding the furniture, the flat is modestly furnished, and the chairs are designed for average-sized individuals, which may not suit everyone’s comfort preferences. Lastly, I am surprised to hear that you didn’t appreciate staying in one of the most desirable areas in London at a very reasonable price. I wish you all the best in your future travels. The house was clean and fully equipped with amenities and kitchen utensils. It was a very comfortable space to stay for a long time. Also the host is helpful and really nice. I would love to stay here again! Only one thing I didn't like was the area of this property that was not safe enough, as well as the underground station was a bit far.

Great flat to stay!

Walk to the Tube Station is a bit far (10min) but the bus stop is basically in front of the house. Great and clean flat, comfy bed, AC and heating work fine. WiFi is alright. Can recommend!

Cosy accommodations near Shepherd’s Bush

Maria provides a spotless bedroom with queen bed, en-suite bathroom and access to the rest of her flat. Queen size bed was very comfortable and two pillows each was a treat. Easy walk to Shepard’s Bush train station. She is very helpful and the two restaurants around the corner (left out her door, then left) are worth going to, especially Cibo.

This two-bedroom, two-bathroom flat is my London home. As I spend much of my time abroad, I occasionally let part of the flat, including a private en-suite guest room.
It helps with household costs while offering travellers a safe, comfortable, and relaxing stay in a lovely Kensington & Chelsea neighbourhood — a true home away from home.
When I am in London, I sometimes welcome a solo female traveller at a reduced rate, sharing only the kitchen. The guest always has her own private en-suite room and the rest of the flat.

Excellent transport links in a safe, quiet, clean, and comfortable area.
Very competitively priced compared to similar properties nearby.
Holland Park, Kensington, is one of the best areas to visit in London, with buses, hop-on hop-off tours, markets, cafés, and restaurants all just around the corner. Bus to Oxford too..

I love living here — especially in spring, when the tree-lined street is in bloom. The flat is within walking distance of Holland Park, Notting Hill, Portobello Market, and the Royal Albert Hall.
Guests consistently love both the flat and the area. One German female solicitor planned a two-month stay and ended up staying eleven. Several single professional women now consider it their “home in London” and return every year.
