WATERFRONT right on a BEACH

Sunset at Rabbit Run is perfect for a family or friends enjoying the Chesapeake Bay area with views of the Chesapeake bay bridge and the harbor .Large Waterfront with a semi private Chesapeake Bay Beach. Spend your day kayaking, fishing or crabbing and enjoy a beautiful Sunset while you cook out. A firepit, hammocks, outdoor seating, Kayaks, outdoor shower and more to enjoy while staying at Rabbit Run. Watch boats going by, and birds in the sky. A perfect setting for a fun filled vacation.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms on the first floor with 2 full baths. (King and Queen), sitting room w/ pull out couch, living room with expansive views of the Chesapeake Bay, dining area and kitchen. There is a loft with a full size bed.

Outdoors there is a front patio with an outdoor shower and seating, along with a waterside patio and screened in porch. There is a semi private beach great for kids and grown ups too. Kayaks to explore the area, fishing and crabbing right at your fingertips. Hammocks for lounging and a firepit to hang around and discuss your day or toast marshmellows.

There are 5 Kayaks (2 adult, 2 youth, and a double) for your use. There are 4 bikes also.

The quaint town of Rock Hall is nearby with restaurants and shops to explore. The Harbor is just next door where you can watch the many boats and yachts coming and going.

What a great Eastern Shore Vacation for the whole family while enjoying the Chesapeake Bay!

This cottage is a total gem on the Chesapeake Bay! The views are stunning, the home and all its neat little nooks and crannies was fantastic! We spent time reading on the porch, swinging in the hammocks, kayaking, and watching beautiful sunsets. It was such a peaceful vacation. Tracy is an excellent host and we want to come back soon!

Lovely home, lovely location

The property and the view provided us with an absolutely wonderful and relaxing getaway. Perfect for two couples and two little dogs to have the most enjoyable time. Home is comfortable and well stocked with necessities. Tracy is great to communicate with and very responsive. We would love to return sometime soon!

Amazing Time!

This property is lovely…beautiful views and landscaping. Plenty to do or just relax and enjoy the view. This is our second stay at this vacation home and will book again sometime soon!!

We enjoyed our stay so much in June `23, we went back in August '24. If you're interested in peace and quiet and wonderful seafood restaurants, you found the spot. Tracy is a wonderful host!

Nice weekend with dog & kids

We were happy to find this great house for a long weekend with family and the family dog. The house had everything one could want for a short or long stay, and we tried to take advantage of it all! Liked that there was plenty of outdoor space to run and play in while still being so close to town. We hope to return!

The house has everything you could want and is superbly comfortable! And the location is picturesque. We loved the little beach and the kayaks. And it’s close to town so we enjoyed the restaurants, ice cream shop and the local grocery store was very convenient. Can’t wait to come back!!

Beautiful property

We had a wonderful time. The bay area was beautiful we were able to take canoes out, play games, or just hang out in the sun. The property had multiple stops to read, sit on outdoor swings or hammocks, and places for us to play outdoor games. It was the perfect getaway we were looking for.

Perfect escape for family with pet

We absolutely loved our time at Sunset at Rabbit Run. The house has so many perks that are ideal for a family including the furry members. We kayaked, rode bikes, explored the nearby towns, and generally enjoyed being in nature in a relaxing setting. We will definitely tell our friends to stay here! An ideal escape from DC without a long drive.

We loved it!

Wow, what an amazing place. So many extras. Exceptional hospitality. It had everything we needed. We loved the kayaks. Even though it was cold and rainy, we greatly enjoyed our stay. We'll have to come back and see what it's like when the sun is out!

Extraordinary Setting/Serenity

We can't say enough about this property. We enjoyed it so much we are renting again in August and September! Communication with Diane & Tracy was impeccable. We highly recommend this area if you need peace and quiet; it won't disappoint!

Paradise on the Bay

This home and property was exactly what my family needed to connect with each other and nature. The accommodations were amazing. We enjoyed a warm fire in the fire pit, watched the epic sunset, and had a blast on the kayaks. We also loved the daily visits from the sweet local doggos. Can't wait to return in the summer! Like a 5 star hotel

This exquisite cottage is located rite on the Chesapeake Bay. The breezes cool the summer air while the views are like a painting. The cottage was oh so comfortable with all its amenities. Outside there is a beach, kayaks, fire pit, and by the way it is next to a small wildlife sanctuary. What more can I brag about!!!!

Bonfires by the Beach

Our group had a wonderful time at Sunset at Rabbit Run. We enjoyed nature hikes around the property with our 18 mos. old, nightly bonfires, boat watching in the screened in porch and kayaking with the rays in the bay. We were all surprised how well stocked the home was with essentials and the bonus treats. Highly recommend this listing for families looking for a relaxing get a way on Marylands Eastern Shore.

Living my dream

We loved our time at Rabbit Run. The magnificent views, super comfy beds, and nearby grocer made our get away from home during COVID-19 the perfect isolated vacation. We had a blast playing corn hole, croquet; having camp fires, and EVEN braving the cold bay for two quick kayak adventures. Having a washer and dryer was key for at least one of those runs 😂. We were greeted with a lovely fruit and cheese plate, very much enjoyed the wine (we'll be buying it ourselves) and if we lived anywhere close by would definitely plan to return. Cemented my retirement dream.

Paradise on the Bay!

We stayed at Sunset at Rabbit Run last winter and just had to come back when it was warm. It's a lovely cozy cottage with all the amenities you need for a relaxing and picturesque getaway. I found myself bouncing around from one comfy seating/laying area to the next, taking full advantage of every angle of the gorgeous view. We watched bald eagles and turkey vultures catching fish! WOW! Kayaking was fun for the whole family and my kids enjoyed two full days of jellyfish-free swimming in the shallow sandy water. The jellies came back on the last day, sadly. All-in-all, a fantastic place that we would love to return to a third time!

Beautiful bayfront property

We could've spent our entire three days at this property sitting on the front porch, watching all the action spread out in front of me on the bay. Eagles, ospreys, crab and fishing boats headed out early morning, deer in the wildlife preserve. But we didn't. We kayaked, rode the bicycles provided by our hostess into and around Rock Hall, ate terrific seafood at local restaurants, and shopped the quaint shops. Our house had the feel of a well-loved family home -- beautiful, comfortable furnishings, outdoor dining areas and firepit and even binoculars to watch the eagles scoop up fish. With the spectacular view out the kitchen window, it was even a pleasure to do the dishes in this home! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next trip!
