This beautiful 3 story home is located within waking distance to The Buckeye Lake winery which hosts live entertainment. Walking distance to the Fairfield Beach. In addition you are just minutes away from numerous Buckeye Lake restaurants, entertainment, and grocery stores.

We look forward to hosting your stay this summer at our amazing home. This will be the relaxing vacation that you and your family will remember for years to come.

BOAT DOES NOT COME WITH RENTAL. We have dock space available for use

Absolutely perfect for individuals, couples or families. Great place to relax and recharge with nightlife close by as well.

Beautiful Place great location

A fantastic house in walking distance to the Buckeye Lake Winery. Boat dock - which was great because we rented a boat for the day. Very modern bathroom and appliances. Rugs and couch could use a steam cleaning - otherwise fantastic.

Just What we Needed

The house was spectacular plenty of room right on the water! Short drive to multiple restaurants and things to do! If your a coffee drinker bring k-cups they do not have a pot. Over all the weekend was wonderful would absolutely rent this house again for our group!

Nice, but no technically on the lake.

Everything nice and quiet. Unfortunately the house was not on the lake but on a canal. The outdoor areas were worn and dirty. The master bed on the 2nd floor was really soft. Overall it’s a lovely home with lots to offer.

Disappointing

Well, check in process was seamless and the decor was nice… That does not compensate for the lack of cleanliness, multiple surprises, and poor communication with the host. Upon check in, surprised how dirty the porch area and front door was, bug stains, and cobwebs. Once in, we started entering various rooms- We saw bug stains on the walls, multiple flies on ceilings and walls, and dead flies and bugs in the windowsills of each room even laying on the bed, we found a fly swatter & killed multiple flies within the first hour or two of being there, and then finally killed a few wasps. The next morning, learned that the Keurig coffee maker did not work, there was no back up coffee pot. We also heard some rattling in the vent above the gas stove top. Leading us to believe that there was potentially some type of animal or bird in the vent. We were unable to get an Internet connection and therefore, were not able to watch TV all wknd. When I reached to the host - he explained that the cleaner was there one night earlier and it was “perfect.” Nope. I sent photos to support my concerns and received no response. I also msgd requesting extra toilet paper…there was no additional rolls in the house. No response. Bottom line - no response plus no apology…not worth the money. When you rent, you expect cleanliness above anything else. But one extra roll of toilet paper would have been nice?! Last surprise - no check out instructions, no msg or email? Disappointing.

Wonderful Home!!

We rented for a weekend for our friends 50th birthday! This home was perfect! Very clean and beautifully decorated! We will definitely be back and probably make staying at this home a yearly tradition!

Comfortable Home on the Lake

This was a great property for our stay. We were going to a wedding at Buckeye Lake and had 6 people staying together. Large kitchen - make sure to bring Keurig cups and not coffee - there is no coffee maker. The water pressure was a little weak on the 3rd floor but great in the downstairs shower. Check in was easy and it was perfect for our weekend needs. We would stay there again.

A mixed bag

The location was nice and in a lovey setting.. The house would work well for weekend type affairs but for longer term it lacks from TLC. There were several issues in our two weeks stay. We asked for help finding a vacuum to better clean the place ourselves because the vacuuming in the upstairs was not done. Also we asked for more light bulbs because we had no light in the main living room, bathrooms, and a dark staircase. All of our requests were treated as nuisances and although MOST were finally addressed it was slow and several requests were made. When we arrived the water pressure was nearly nonexistent and the water stunk like sulphur. The owner had someone come in to fix it and the workman left muddy footprints on the stairs and through the downstairs living room. Although after repeated requests we never did get a vacuum, we did find a broom to clean up the mess - again ourselves. The pressure increased only slightly, but the smell eventually dissipated after about 10 days. Overall our impression was the owner of this house was annoyed to have to do anything with the house. We felt he did not want to address anything to do with our stay. This attitude seems contrary to every other VBRO stay we have experienced.

Cute place but very dirty

Upon arrival we had no check in details. We sat outside the house for about 45 min after the check in time sending messages and then calling VRBO customer service. We finally got in touch with owner who stated his wife handles the rental and he had no idea we were coming. He was able to get us access to house. The house is cute and looks like the pictures but it needs a deep clean. The couch was dirty and could use a steam clean. The fridge and freezer were dirty with a lot of leftover items inside. There was a large brown spill all over bottom of freezer. The master shower was filthy with hair and grime. We tried to wipe it down before using. The linens in one bathroom were white with yellow stains. They may have been clean but appearance didn’t make you want to use. The shower curtain and bath mats were stained and dirty looking. We ran a load of towels in the washer before using. Given the check in situation it felt like the house was not prepared for us or the cleaning is just not up a standard I would expect from a rental. Some simple cleaning and updating linens and towels would make a big difference. We did contact the owner next morning with concerns but response was simply that they have cleaners who come on Sundays. The bathroom on main floor also didn’t flush and we were told it would be fixed the weekend after we left which didn’t help us during our stay. We still had a great time and visited the buckeye lake winery which was fun. We only had wished we didn’t spend our time trying to clean things before we used them and had felt comfortable in the space.

Great Stay

Great stay! Location was close to everything. Boat dock was great for docking our boat and parking the trailer in the nearby lot was very convenient. We would all stay again!

Perfect Bachelorette Weekend

This was the perfect house for our stay! Everything was great - from the cleanliness of the house, to the house decor, ease of communication with the owner, friendliness of the neighbors, location & the views (that sunrise/sunset though!), check in & check out process, and even how the house was equipped with everything we needed already! There’s a lot of little things leftover from previous guests that are available - like straws, snacks, tylenol, seasonings, etc. which was kinda really nice actually! We even left some stuff behind for future guests! The ONLY issue we had was the water pressure in the showers as it was lacking - not a deal breaker & not the worst complaint - but if that’s all we have to mention, I’d say that’s pretty great! Location is perfect - private and yet super walking distance close to a park, beach access, kayak rental, and the winery! If you book this house DO NOT skip out on the winery!!! Try the slushees :) Would definitely book again!

Great weekend on the lake!

We greatly enjoyed our weekend on Buckeye Lake. The property setup and location were perfect for our group. We were able to bring our boat very easily and loved having the dock right outside our front door. Thank you! KEH
