Unique floor plan with great views of the pond sitting on 3.8 acres. Completely secluded. Back yard is your own paradise with hiking trails, open area to do many things, fire pit, your own fully stocked catch and release fishing/swimming pond with ladder, dock, paddle boats and more! If you want to spend some time outside and enjoy the natural scenery, this is a great spot for you! Located less than 5 miles from old mans cave, and less than 7 miles from many dining restaurants and shopping areas. Location is exaclty where you want to be when visiting the hocking hills.

Hidden gem!

My little family and I truly loved this stay. We had a blast fishing, checking out the trails, bonfires, and the hot tub was AMAZING. My favorite thing to do was be able to sit and look out of those beautiful windows in the mornings... plus, Hocking hills state park has so many amazing places to see and it's minutes away. One of our best trips yet! Perfect perfect perfect

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay at this property. For two families (adults dogs and adults kids), it was the perfect amount of space and separation that we needed, with one group being able to sleep/bathe on the main floor and the other group on the lower level. The extra garage was also a nice space to hang out and have separate time when needed. The spacious property was great for being able to get out without driving anywhere, and the location near the main trails but also close to town was ideal.I think the property has room for improvements (basic updates/upgrades, additional kitchenware), but since the spot was mainly just needed as a place to sleep and relax after hiking, I would not consider anything a concern.Communication with the host was great when needed as well. I would absolutely recommend this property.

Great secluded rental but very close to amenities

This rental was amazing for our family. Way more than enough space for our family of 3 and 3 dogs. We absolutely loved swimming and kayaking in the pond, relaxing in the hot tub after a long day, and waking up and enjoying breakfast on the balcony with a beautiful view. Definitely recommend for a family getaway or a stress free vacation with friends.

Anniversary get away

The hot tub was to die for the pond was perfect the house could have been cleaner and it was lacking dishes but I had taken paper products so not a big deal and it had nice furniture and an awesome deck with new patio furniture! We enjoyed our stay and would go back again !! Oh and my husband did catch fish !!

Perfect secluded getaway

This property was amazing with a gorgeous view of a pond that was stocked with lil blue gills! The home itself is super secluded and there was an additional building on property that had two beds in it with 3 beds in the main house! The host were super attentive, checking in with us everyday! The home itself couldve been a little cleaner and in need of some updates! The hot tub was very clean and well maintained! The awesome views and seclusion make this well worth a stay!

Family weekend get away

Our family had a great time staying at this property. It is a beautiful peaceful retreat. Would love to come back when it gets warmer. Many of my friends seen our pics on social media and immediately messaged us asking us how to reserve it. The owners are very nice. And kept good communication with us during our stay. A must stay if you have large family that's adventurous but would like to have their own outdoor paradise with a private setting.

Beautiful property. Odd layout of house with bedrooms. Could be updated with paint, at least. VERY steep steps to downstairs bedrooms. FREEZING downstairs. Nice memory foam mattresses. Very clean. Kitchen supplies could be a little more convenient. Cute guest house, but with no bathroom. Nice hot tub. Incoventient-Ice maker & washer w dryer unusable as water lines were disconnected. Keurig was broken. Water pressure very low in all faucets. Gorgeous view of property from sitting area near main entrance. Very tranquil. We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin.

Not what’s in the picture

The downstairs where 2 bedrooms are smelled like moled and had poor lighting. So many things missing to cook in the kitchen. Grill did not work. I would not stay here again.

Best place in Hocking Hills

I love this cottage! Almost 4 acres with a pond. Everything you will ever need and want for a vacation in the hills. The owner is very responsive and kind, there is firewood delivered at the entrance that you can choose for purchase. Lots of parking available. A hot tub, washer/dryer all the kitchen amenities. They love pets, kids, and families I’m coming back for the 5th time next summer.

Beautiful yard and pond!

The house was clean. Some things could definitely use an upgrade, such as the televisions, outdoor lights and showet fixtures. It was a great time! Plenty of beds and linens. The house is set up a little strange but it has beautiful views out great windows. The pond is yucky looking but filled with fish and the walkable lap around and little surrounding paths are great! My dogs loved it!

Wonderful Hosts

This was perfect for our stay while we visited Hocking Hills. When we weren’t out hiking in the park, we enjoyed paddling around the pond in the little kayak, lounging in the hot tub, and dining on the deck overlooking a lovely back yard. The common living space was pleasantly laid out with plenty of room for sitting or indoor activities. The steps to the two downstairs bedrooms are steep, but there is also easy access from outdoors with easy steps. When I had questions, the hosts were very responsive and helpful. Our stay was very pleasant. I would recommend a stay here.

Spring break vacation

We loved the property it was os beautiful and quite. We have a 4,6 and 8 year old boys who went crazy being able to hike and find rocks and fish whenever they wanted. The bedroom set ups were a little weird and made ot a little difficult with kids on where to put them so we could hear them while they slept but we made it work. Thank you for the wonderful time! We will come back

Perfect location and spacious pet friendly property

We LOVED our stay here! If you have multiple pets and want a beautiful and private place to stay, this is it! The property was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only thing I wished I would have brought was a mixing bowl. Outside of that there were plenty of dishes and cookware. I was slightly concerned about the complaints of some bugs but there were actually very few for being in the woods! We loved the fishing pond and hot tub. The owner communicated quickly and even checked in on us. Amazing stay! 10/10 would recommend and we will be back. Thank you so much

Won’t ever go back!

Walked in to bad odor from sink drains, had to clean kitchen before using it. Major dust bunnies in every room, we cleaned up pet hair off furniture and beds had dirty sheets. Also air conditioning didn’t work. We were brought winnow air conditioner, clean sheets and was told “sorry it doesn’t meet your standards”.

Great Stay

Caring for older disabled dogs really limits our ability to take a vacation. We are so grateful to Bobby for accommodating us by allowing them to come along! The property itself is was beautiful in the snow (gazing at the pond was lovely) - I can only imagine how pretty it looks in the summer. Inside, the house was very comfortable (not to mention spotlessly clean!). We really enjoyed the firm memory foam mattress - my husband said his back felt great after sleeping on it. The hot water and great pressure in the shower were also welcome. As others have mentioned, there are stairs to navigate outside and as well as to the lower level bedroom/bath (a bit larger than the room on the main floor) but was not a challenge for us. While the weather restricted our ability to visit some of the sights we had planned, Logan and Athens have some fun shops. As a dining recommendation, our dinner at Rhapsody in Nelsonville was one of the best we’ve had. We really enjoyed our long weekend. Thanks again!

Hocking Hills Cabin

Well, the overwhelming smell of air freshener was the first to hit me and I had to move them outside. Underneath was the smell of smoke. The kitchen had some pretty slimy slick oil type stuff on the floor by the table. The grill was completely burnt out with barely one burner working and was so filled with old burnt food; pretty bad. The mattresses were newer but the box springs underneath old which is why by back was sore in the morning. I was supposed to stay nights but drove back the afternoon of the second day because I wouldn't have been able to sleep in that bed again. No way. The property is nice but the cabin is very dated and there is no way it would have passed for cleanliness. Never again.
