Ponderosa Cabin is a secluded cabin on a hilltop with a half a mile driveway. PLEASE Drive a all wheel or four wheel drive vehicle from December to Macrch in case it snows .It's located 1 mile and 8/10s from Old Man's Cave State Park in Hocking Hills(1 mile hike through the property)Enjoy our 2-bedroom, one bath cabin with an electric fireplace. 50" tv with satellite and antenna channels along with wireless internet. Full kitchen with cooking utensils and tableware. Enjoy the 6-person hot tub on large, covered porch with outdoor furniture. Fire ring and gas grill with large yard. WE ALSO HAVE TWO OTHER CABINS ON THE PROPERTY /STARR VALLEY AND DAKOTA TRAIL ,BOTH ARE SIMULAR IN SIZE BUT CLOSER TO THE PARK off Sr 664 . All the guests enjoy the seclusion ,privacy and large area for children and pets . $50.00 pet fee per stay, don't forget to check ✅ the box .(click the box that says Travelers,then the pets 🐕 box comes up .

They key amenities for us was location to the parks, hot tube, and most importantly seclusion. This buetiful cabin delivered on all of that and more. We 100% recommended! Thank you so much to our hosts for sharing this lovely getaway!

Very nice stay. The cabin was hot when we arrived and the air conditioning looked like it needed cleaned. My daughter has allergies so we chose not to use it but luckily it cooled off in the evening after opening the windows. Other than that it was a perfect stay. Great location. Make sure you have four wheel drive if there is any weather as the road to the cabin is very steep with loose gravel. Owner was super responsive and we enjoyed the trail to the state park.

We had a great time at the Ponderosa cabin! Everything was clean. There were extra supplies in case you needed to clean up a spill or ran out of paper towels or toilet paper. They supplied plenty of cooking and eating utensils and plates. The hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking. We were close to the hiking trails we wanted to go to and not too far from town. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of blankets and pillows. There were heaters and fans in every room to help keep you warm or cool. Hannah was super friendly and willing to help with anything we needed!The driveway was a little rough, when they recommended using an all wheel drive vehicle I would heed that caution!Overall we had a wonderful stay and would love to come back for another stay!

Had this trip planned for a while and of course the snow storm just had to come in right before. Thankfully they were amazing and reached out to offer a different option with a safer driveway. Had a wonderful stay! No complaints!

Overall was an amazing experience. Only a few minor things weren't great, tv remote didn’t work and the showers water pressure was very low. Location and cabin was amazing, had a great weekend relaxing there.

Such a cute property and would definitely return! Minutes from many of the pet-friebdly Hocking Hills attractions. Huge private yard. Hot tub was a great touch! The hostess was very responsive and helpful, providing info about the area, as well. Absolutely recommend this for your next HH stay!

You can hike through a gorge 3 miles to Ceader Falls state park and 3 more miles to Ash Cave State Park . Or drive the highway between parks . There are 5 other parks close by
