We are pleased to share our cabin, Cimarron House, for your perfect Angel Fire getaway. Come enjoy this spacious 4 bedroom 2 bath cabin just minutes from skiing, hiking, and fishing. Located just a short walk from Mont Verde Lake and Cougar Trail Head and just 8 minutes from Angel Fire Ski Resort, our cabin is perfect for families or large groups. Our cabin offers two master bedrooms plus two additional bedrooms, one with two twins and the other with 1 bunk, 1 twin, and 1 floor mattress. Come in and relax by the beautiful wood burning stove in the spacious living area or soak in the jacuzzi tub after a long day of skiing or hiking. Enjoy views of the snow and local wildlife while having your coffee by our large windows or on the spacious deck. A fully stocked kitchen has everything you need, including rice cooker, instapot, and blender. Just bring food! Come stay at Cimarron House for a vacation to remember.

Great place for families

The property was just as advertised, clean, and well stocked. There was plenty of space for sleeping and relaxing after an active day on the mountain. The deer that visited every night was an amazing sight to see.

Great time in Angel Fire

House was great! Located close to skiing. We loved the wood burning fireplace and used it constantly. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for 10 of us. Kitchen was well equipped. We saw deer at the front door each morning. Great stay and would use it again!

Great locations, house with great layout for larger groups - big dinning table! Large living area.

Larger rooms, larger bedrooms and great layout is so important for larger family gatherings. The location just a few miles from angel fire skiing was beautiful as well. We were greeted by dear every night. Good patio porch. Very safe neighborhood. Was a last minute booking, but the result was as if we knew and planned way ahead. Communications to get access was great as well as local questions. We will book this location again!

Beautiful family cabin with all the amenities you would need.

We enjoyed our stay for the weekend. The drive was plowed so easy access to the cabin. Wood was stacked by the deck and wood burning stove kept us nice and toasty. Heater works great if you don’t want to use the wood burning stove. Enough seating for us to watch tv in the living area. We would stay here again.

Perfect getaway home!

This house was amazing! Met all of our needs for the week. Well stocked and very clean. Big and spacious yet a cozy feel to the home. We loved the fireplace and open floor plan. Plenty of room for everyone. Also had great communication with owners/property Mgnt. Would definitely consider staying here again! Thanks for the great experience!!!!♥️

Nice getaway ahead of holidays

We enjoyed staying here very much. The kids really liked the bear theme, dog pillows, etc and really enjoyed the electric piano. The kitchen had everything that you need to make a variety of meals. I liked too that the property was pretty easy to get to as we came after a snowfall. The owners were super responsive when I was having issues with the TV and very friendly overall.

Getaway vaca the best.

Very nice cabin. Tera (owner) exceptionally helpful and quick to reply to all inquiries. Cabin was stocked well and the area was beautiful. Covid-19 prevented some outings but we found lots of other fun things to do. BBQ needs replacing or have a thorough cleaning is the only draw back but that was easy to overcome. We absolutely had 5 days of relaxation (my grandson even caught 8 fish in Monte Verde lake) Thank you Ms. Tera.

Beautiful, quiet neighborhood near town

Overall this was exactly what we were looking for. The property is perfectly sized for a family, neighborhood quiet with many nature lovers, and plenty outdoor activities to do in the nearby small town. It is a short walk to the small nearby lake, had lots of deer in the woods, and the house had plenty of games and activities for the kids. We all enjoyed ourselves in our quiet rustic retreat, and still had an opportunity to watch a movie and use WiFI on the rare occasions we needed to use it. I'd definitely return again.

Angel Fire Oasis

Such a great property - tucked away but still close to everything. The house has a great layout for groups (even though we were just two) - with bedrooms on the first and second floor. The windows bring in great light and there were a plethora of towels to use (what I really need at the end of the day!). Responses from the owner were super prompt and I would love to stay here again - just a great house with all the amenities that you need at your fingertips. I also appreciated that there were little notecards telling me how to use the internet, tv, etc so I didn’t have to go exploring.

Great for Families

This house was perfect for two families on our New Year's ski trip. The house was cozy but spacious enough for everyone to have their own space to sleep and play. The kids had a blast sledding down the hill in the backyard, and it was only a five-minute drive to the ski resort. Our only issue was the (lack of) heat in the bunk room. But there were extra blankets in the closet to keep the kids warm at night. The living room was also chilly, so bring plenty of fire starter to keep a fire going every evening.

After visiting Angel Fire we fell in love with the area. Between the beautiful mountain views, wildlife, and cool summer temperatures it is the perfect place for us to own a vacation home.

We purchased this cabin because it is walking distance to hiking trails and Monte Verde Lake. We also love that it has plenty of room for trips with our extended family and friends.
