Even Better!

This was our second time here and this was a trip of a lifetime. It was better than the first time. The kitchen is fully equipped. The rooms and bathroom were clean. The place even had a lot of things for kids to do, like games, cards, drawing markers/paper to keep them off their devices. However, the pool took a majority of their time! The view was amazing. If you are looking for a spacious, clean, fully equipped home away from home, this place is it!!!!

Best VRBO I Have Ever Stayed In

As nice as the pictures are, they do not do this property justice. Pool and Hot Tub are amazing, with a spectacular view (and the pool is heated, which is actually rare in Hawaii). The house was so nice that we ended up spending a majority of the week there rather than at the Mauna Kea or Hapuna Beaches (although access to those resorts is always an unbelievable benefit of staying at a VRBO on Property). Property Manager was extremely responsive and friendly, without being too imposing. Price was EXTREMELY reasonable given how nice (and big) this house is.

Absolute Paradise

I can't say enough positive things about this place. The check-in was smooth, Kathleen was hospitable from the minute we met her. The property was 5 star, with beautiful views, beautiful pool and jacuzzi. The house was equipped with everything that we needed. I cannot say anything negative. It was one of the best vacations we've ever had in Hawaii.

Lovely property

We enjoyed this spacious home with great views and amazing pool outside area. We were a family of 6 with adult children. Easy access to resort. Great kitchen for cooking!

Perfect spot on the Big Island

Our second stay at this home was just as dreamy as our first. The house itself is unique and beautiful, with plenty of space and a well appointed kitchen. The pool and hot tub are fantastic and there’s plenty of patio space for lounging. The sunset views from the patio are second to none. We love the location within the Mauna Kea Resort. Everyone we interacted with at the property was wonderful, from the property manager to the gentleman who takes care of the pool. Our family will definitely stay here again.

2023 Grad Trip

Walking into the house you have this amazing ,calming " ahhh haaa" moment that you selected well. The views are spectacular as are the gentle warm trade winds. We enjoyed sunsets by the pool as well as on the Mauna Kea beach. The beds and pillows are super comfy and we all slept like babies! The house is so comfy and well appointed! We played tennis and pickle ball daily as well as golf and beach everyday! We couldn't have asked for a better host or property manager. A very thoughtful host basket was provided as well making your arrival feel very special. We will be back without a doubt! GREAT PLACE!!!

Great location and property manager was terrific. Wish there had been more shady locations outside as we have to watch sun exposure. As in a previous review, the size of the living room TV was small in comparison to the size of the wall it was on. We enjoyed our stay.

Mauna Kea hillside retreat

Quiet, private, modern home with a partial ocean view (good for sunsets). Very well equipped modern kitchen with the latest appliances. The property manager is very gracious and accommodating. Easy check-in and check-out. Nice private lap pool and hot tub. The television could be a bit larger, but it is a smart TV with all the appropriate apps. Great location with easy access to the Mauna Kea Beach hotel and golf course. Many good restaurants and groceries nearby. We will definitely try to return if the property is available on our next visit to the Big Island.

A Magical Place

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at this amazing home. The home is simply beautiful with plenty of great shared space. The pool and hot tub are great and the views are second to none. The property manager was courteous and informative. We’ll definitely stay here again!

Excellent Mauna Kea home with a view & pool

Glad we found this place. On a quiet cul-de-sac up a hill with a great view. Pool is refreshing, floorpan is fun as you can easily open two walls of the main living area with great air circulation. We enjoyed this hike very much. Having access to the Mauna Kea resort amenities was the clincher...such a great iconic Big Island resort with amazing beaches & tennis courts.

Amazing Stay!

Our family of 5 had an absolutely wonderful stay! My kids loved lounging in the pool and hot tub after a long day at the beach and I loved the open floor plan and beachy vibe of the home. Beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you!

Great Stay!

This house is perfect for a family of four. It's well situated within Mauna Kea. The house is clean and fresh and the kitchen is newly renovated with top appliances. We found this to be great value given our needs and price point.

Absolutely exceptional property. Everything was exactly as the VRBO listing showed. Beautiful view and sunsets. Neighborhood was quiet with incredible vegetation and flowers. House was new and modern. We will book here again.

Aloha Mauna Kea

Wonderful modern home. My wife and I highly recommend staying here . Kathleen, the Property Manager, was great to work with. She made a point to meet us at check-in and show us around the home, much appreciated! Amazing view and pool area. We enjoyed the sounds of the ocean from the outdoor spaces. The kitchen is outfitted wonderfully; they even provided excellent chef’s knives, and salad spinner, which is rare for a vacation rental. Our vacation was definitely enhanced by our choice of accommodations. Mahalo

Dream Home in Heavenly Hawaii

We loved our stay at this elegant house in the immaculate South Fairways neighborhood of the Mauna Kea resort. We’d like to begin each day by stepping out the front door and watching the sun rise over the snow-capped peak of Mauna Kea. And every evening we watched the spectacular sunsets with the sound of waves breaking on the beach below. It is a great home base for exploring the Mauna Kea resort and other attractions on the Big Island. We enjoyed the spacious great room for family meals and entertainment. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. And it was a real treat to step into the heated infinity pool and look out over the Pacific Ocean while swimming. Booking was effortless and Kathleen responded quickly to our questions. Thanks for making available a special house in a spectacular location! We are going to book the house again soon for next year.

A wonderful retreat!

We stayed at the property for a week in early January and had such a relaxing vacation. The house has lots of space, both in the common areas and bedrooms/baths. Kitchen is well appointed, and Kathleen shopped for us in advance so the fridge was stocked upon our arrival, which was most welcome after a long flight. Outside area is great for swimming, relaxing, and watching the beautiful sunsets in the evening. The neighborhood is very private and we appreciated the space between properties. Great experience and Kathleen was responsive to any questions we had. Thanks for sharing your beautiful property!

Our stay was epic! The house was nothing short of amazing- super stylish and cool!

Everything about our experience was first class. Easy to book. Great property management team. The house is set in a beautiful neighborhood inside of the Mauna Kea property. While the other houses in the neighborhood are quite nice, this house stands out for its elegant modern design. The monochromatic style is stunning without being ostentatious. The pool and patio area offer the perfect entertaining setting, with a killer view and sunsets that are spiritual experiences. The main public areas are straight up elegant and very cool. And the bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. All in all, you won’t find a better house to rent on the Big Island!
