Sinking Sun is a beautiful Gulf Front 5BR/5BA, 3,300SF home with a private heated POOL! The house is located on the most desirable area of the Forgotten Coast! Enjoy incredible views of the Gulf of America from every room and any one of your three large covered balconies. This home creates the perfect family atmosphere with a spacious and open floor plan. Features include: hardwood floors, granite counters, stainless appliances, elevator servicing all floors, DirecTV in every room, free Wi-Fi, washer, dryer, fully stocked kitchen, natural gas grill, outside shower and more. 1st Floor: pool, parking and entry. 2nd floor: Living room with sofa sleeper, full bath, kitchen and dining room. 3rd Floor: 4BR/3BA (3 Kings and 4 Twins). 4th Floor: King master suite with Jacuzzi tub, tile shower and baby crib. Pool heat is included. Saturday to Saturday rental during peak seasons.

House was everything I hoped for. Went to celebrate our 50th anniversary with entire family. Great week at the beach with fireworks on the 4th.

Great family Vacay!!!!

Easy walk to the ocean, quiet area, beach & ocean were beautiful! Plenty of room in the house for our big family. Big kitchen, good washer & dryer, kids loved the pool. Elevator was nice for packing suitcases, etc up and down. Thanks for a great vacation!!!

Looking forward to returning!

The house was great for our small grand kids and our young adult kids as well. The elevator was a great help with the littles. The kitchen has everything you need. We loved the heated pool! It was perfectly positioned to give you relief from the sun. The gas grill was also a huge plus. The sunsets were gorgeous and we didn't have to leave the porch to see them! However, it was only a few steps to the beach to enjoy it there as well. We look forward to returning next year!!

Beautiful house on the beach

We had a large group of adults and one toddler stay for a week a this lovely house. The house is located in a quiet area of the town. There are a couple restaurants, coffee shop and ice cream a few miles away. We had a great stay and would stay again!

Blissful Getaway

We enjoyed a great blend of beach time with our private walkway to the beach with the fun of a swimming pool with both a kid- friendly end as well as a deep end. Kitchen was stocked with almost anything we would need for fixing our meals. Grill was a great bonus too. Rooms gave us lots of space to stretch out as a family of 11. Loved the decks overlooking the water !!

Fam damily spring break

The perfect gathering place for our spread-out family! Beautiful spacious home. Well appointed and perfectly equipped kitchen. The beach is great. We will return to Mexico Beach/Port St. Joe. Harmon Realty was a breeze to work with. I highly recommend checking out Vacation Prep Squad if you’re visiting the area. A Godsend!!

The property manager was second to none. Great to work with and personable. Any questions, concerns were answered and addressed immediately. House was beautiful and the short walk onto the beach was great! We always love and appreciate the Forgotten Coast!

Dolphin haven!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at this beautiful home! There were 8 of us who stayed at the house, with 4 adults and 4 kids. The house was everything we wanted and more! When we arrived, we couldn't believe how beautiful the views were from all levels. The house was very nicely decorated and the floors were basically spotless, even though the house was on the beach. We've stayed in some beach houses where you feel grit on the floor, but not this one! We also loved using the elevator for things like luggage, groceries, so we didn't have to carry them up any stairs. We also used the elevator for wet children coming inside from the pool/beach, so they didn't track any water/sand all around the house. The kitchen was very roomy and had basically everything we needed. We loved the huge fridge and freezer, also.The location of this house is ideal for people who like to cook at home, as there are basically only food trucks closeby. The beds were very comfortable and the kids loved the bunk room, which had their own outlet for each bed cubby. We saw dolphins every single day during the week we stayed, which usually came out in the morning and evening. The pool was the warmest pool I've ever been in, too, which was amazing. It rained pretty hard one day, but because the pool is under the house, we could still swim. The beach was absolutely beautiful and not crowded whatsoever. We also appreciated that every puzzle piece was in the Sixties puzzle. Lol We would love to stay here again!

Sinking Sun Spring Break 2022

The family enjoyed staying at Sinking Sun. House was not as clean as I would have thought and some of the starting essentials were missing. Our view was absolutely stunning and we will consider the Sinking Sun for future trips.

Beautiful house and great location

We have found our new best place to stay. The house was just like the photos and the view doesn't compare to what you see when your really there. The sun set is right out the back doors and you have a post card view each evening. We couldn't have asked for a better location. House was super clean, very well stocked with a lot of different kitchen supplies, nice TV's in every bedroom. The elevator was oh so nice when unloading and bringing in groceries. Pool was heated and very nice. Beach was wide open, not crazy like the other tourist beaches. Nice local mom and pop stores. Upon reading their guest book sounds like several repeat customers and we plan on using this place for years to come.

Family Vacation

Loved the house. It's beautiful. The elevator was a great help since we had some people that have a hard time with steps. The area is great. We were disappointed in the cleaning of the house. We did talk to the leasing manager and he made it right. We will definitely stay here again.

Great house if everything worked

Very nice house. Upon arrival water poured from a/c vent into bathroom. Contacted property manager on Saturday. Sent someone out on Monday to inspect. They said manager was aware of this problem and I would be contacted for a time convenient time to repair. The call never came. We could not use the tub or shower on top floor for entire time of the week rental.
