A quiet spot away from the city. This restored vintage home sits on 6 acres with mowed trails for strolling. Local channels plus Roku, Prime, etc. on the smart television. Unplug if you want or connect with WiFi. Two large porches allow lounging and watching both sunrise and sunset. Open floor plan kitchen, living and dining area. Restful stay

We stayed here while my child went to a sheep camp in Robstown. We didn’t have a chance to enjoy the abundant wildlife, but it was wonderful to be able to come back to a quiet, peaceful place to rest each night.

Birding House

Very comfortable—well stocked and supplied. Bird watching was good. I learned that Red-bellied Woodpeckers love to eat grapes.

Our stay

Great Spot for Relaxing

I stayed here a couple of nights to hang out while exploring the region and birding. This was the perfect place to serve as home base. Both porches have a nice view - front for the sunrise, back for the sunset. The feeders and water feature in the front attracted many the beautiful bird. The kitchen was well equipped and everything else about the house worked well. Communication with the host was very responsive. I would stay here again.

Great getaway!

We planned to come in town and go to a concert in Orange Grove, not wanting to have to drive all the way back to Corpus Christi once it was over, we found this nice little place to stay at instead that was just perfect! Very peaceful and had everything you could want.

Lovely place to stay

We were visiting Rockport , Corpus Christi and south padre island. This place was located well for our trip. Looked beautiful in morning. We enjoyed the trails made for bird watching. Great place to do mediations. Hosts were amazing , we just had one call with them , but they made our stay very comfortable.

Excellent hosts, location, and property!

We needed a place to stay that was close to Orange Grove and couldn't have found a better place! It was clean, comfortable, and convenient for us. Thank you Libby for your help in our time of need. We will definitely rent again when we return to visit our family.

Lovely nature-filled sanctuary

We had a wonderful time staying at this bird watching haven! We Enjoyed a beautiful evening dinner out on the back porch and stargazing at night. It was also convenient for those who don't mind a bit of a road trip down to South Padre Island or a quick drive over to Corpus Christi/Padre Island as well. The house was well-stocked and relaxing - we fully recommend this stay!

Successfully relaxing weekend

This place was amazing. Secluded and with beautiful views. I got some amazing sunset photos. Not a huge bird person myself but there were many to look at and lots of information available for those who are. I was looking for a quiet getaway and this was perfect. Libby was easy to contact but not intrusive. Was a storm overnight and she checked in to make sure things were good the next morning. I am definitely keeping this place in mind for another weekend when I just need to get away. Highly recommend.

Clean, comfortable, private

Really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. The cabin is very well appointed, with very comfortable beds. We loved the peace, quiet, and privacy that it provides.

Amazing Property

I had a project in Robstown and I stayed at Hawk’s Crossing for over a month. It was an awesome stay! Very comfortable and secluded. I would recommend this property to anyone staying in the area.

Very Quiet and Quaint

They really liked how nice and well-kept the home was. It was decorated so cutely. Our stay was very comfortable and the homeowners were great. We will look this place up again if we are back in the area.

Peaceful and relaxing

Home on the Range

Loved the house and surroundings! Wanted to stay longer. This place has a lot going for it: Peace and quiet, beautiful surroundings, and Texas charm inside and out. We came down to visit family in nearby Robstown and needed a place to sleep. There was plenty of room for my wife, ours son, and I and the appointments and furnishings added much to our enjoyment. Would recommend to anyone.

Short stay to see grandkids

We recently visited our daughter and family in Robstown. Needed a comfortable place to stay with our own space. This house was well decorated and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable.

We Couldn't Make It!

We were going to stay in Libby's house while visiting our Daughter and her family. Were within 4 hours when we got a call from her that she and her family tested positive for Covid. Libby was the first person I called after that. She was sincere and gracious and helped make a bad situation better. We will be coming back as soon as we can and will rent from her for sure!
