Jamaica Beach Waterfront Home! w/ Paddleboards, Kayak, Pedal Boat, Fishing Gears

Welcome to our waterfront home in Jamaica Beach. Begin your retreat, and restore at this quiet and peaceful place. Enjoy stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, pedal boating, and fishing, and crabbing just outside of the house. Three-minute driving to the beach, a short walk to Jamaica Beach swimming pool and playground, and adjacent to Galveston Island State Park. Schlitterbahn, The Strand, Pleasure Pier, and Moody Gardens are a few miles away.

The house is a two-bedroom and two-bath home. It sleeps up to 7 guests: one queen bed, one full bed and bunk beds twin over twin. Large upstairs deck with abundant seating and table space. Breathtaking views of the sunset. A deck downstairs provides additional seating and tablespace as well.

Amenities include:
- Two Stand-Up Paddleboards
- Two kayaks
- A four-seater pedal boat
- Fishing and crabbing gear
- Beach toys, beach umbrella, and beach chairs
- Washer/Dryer
- Netflix, Hulu, and Disney Plus

The owner has provided access to water equipment. Please use them with care and at your own risk. Guests are required to review the house rules and sign our rental agreement.

A great place to spend a couple of weeks. The house was as good as the pictures and super clean. The host was prompt & courteous. It was the most fully furnished place we have rented in a long time. We normally go to Galveston in our motorhome, but we loved this place enough to go back at a later time. I highly recommend this waterfront home.

Absolutely loved Reel Palms! The location is ideal especially for crabbing and fishing right off the deck. The water there is clean and fresh due to be near the main opening to the bay. Raised in Oahu, this was important to enjoy swimming, lounging, and kayaking in the canal. Haven’t been on a bike in a decade so the double bike worked out perfectly having my husband lead the way! Bicycled to Jamaica beach and enjoyed some yummy fresh grilled shrimp near by! Thank you, thank you for sharing your home!

We have stayed here twice now and love this house. Its nice to be on the canal and not right on the beach - we can kayak and fish, then just cross the road for a beach day.

It was as described on VRBO website. However, the listing showed the property to be pet friendly. We found out two days before our arrival that this was not the case. Therefore, we had to scramble to find a place to board our small dog.Instructions for the lock box should have said that once the code is dialed in, you need to pull down on the black switch to the left of numbers to open.Otherwise, I have no complaints.Charles Wright

Fun weekend getaway at the bay!

We loved our fun weekend getaway at the bay. So many fun things to do on the water. Kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming and fishing. Great little dock to hang out on and a pretty porch up top to watch the sunset. And have our morning coffee.

Excellent Vacation Rental

The property is beautifully decorated with very comfortable furniture. It appeared to be professional cleaned, given the fact that the house is super clean. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and fine chocolates which made us feel that Lisa was happy we were there. Communication was great. When visiting the Galveston area again, I would love to stay at Lisa's again.

Perfect

The property was amazing. It was so clean. There were lots of things to do very close. When it started raining, I reached out to the manager, and they let me know how to secure the boats and everything really quickly so they were definitely on top of everything I had an amazing stay there. I can’t wait to go back again.

Very nice and clean property that is well stocked.

The house is lovely and well stocked. I appreciate it being clean and love the W/D upstairs (we’ve rented ones in the past which were located in the garage). Only complaints were that the second bed (full sized bed in second room) is extremely uncomfortable. I could not sleep on it and as a 50 year old female, I chose to sleep instead on a twin sized bunk bed since it had a mattress topper. The other let down was that the property had a paddle boat to be used and in pictures it is available outside, in the water. While they had the paddle boat in the garage, it is heavy and there is no way we could have carried it out to the water and took it back out of the water. We were looking forward to using it, but did not attempt to. My daughter did enjoy the paddle boards though. Other than those two complaints (the mattress being a big one), we enjoyed the beautiful home.

Cute home on the water

We stayed here to take advantage of fishing at anytime of day. Not a long drive to Galveston busy areas. It great to have kayaks/paddle boards and a paddle boat available to use as well as safety equipment and beach equipment. The kitchen was a perfect size for my party of 4. Everything was very clean and the owner was extremely helpful and prompt in response to any of my questions. I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay!

The house is fully stocked and was perfect for our family of 4. We really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards on the canals. Hurricane Beryl cut our stay short but Lisa was great with communication and went above and beyond. If we head back to Galveston we will definitely stay at the property.

If you feel like go to the beach, a three minutes drive will bring you to top-rated Jamaica beach. You can park your car right on the beach.
