Kealia 202 offers FRONT ROW CENTER seats for whale watching, Maui sunsets, outriggers and more! It's a spectacular view and it's everywhere you look in this condo! If you want a view AND the best walking beach in Maui, this condo is perfect for you!

The condo is completely furnished Hawaiian style, with rattan, teak and other local materials. It's also fully supplied with everything you may need for cooking - and you couldn't ask for a better table out on the lanai!
This one-bedroom, one-bath is perfect for solo travelers, couples and small families. It has a queen size day bed as well as a comfy king in the bedroom which is perfect for the little ones.

You're just steps away from one of the best beaches on Maui, good for swimming, snorkeling, diving, paddle boarding or just sunbathing with a good book. The Maui Canoe Club is right next door and there are visitor paddles every week. You can take a great morning or sunset beach walk along Sugar Beach and in the winter months you'll see humpback whales blowing and breaching offshore!

Kealia Condominiums is the furthest north of the resorts on Sugar Beach and centrally located for easy access to the airport, upcountry and Wailea. The building and grounds have a great retro feel and there's a nice mix of residents and visitors. There's an elevator for easy access to both condo and parking garage.

Special note for GOLFERS: The owner is a member and can make arrangements for you to golf on the private King Kamehameha Golf Course.

Kealia Condominiums is a non-smoking property and as such there is no smoking allowed in the condo, on the lanai or in the shared areas such as the pool.

Can’t wait to return - beautiful stay at Sugar Beach!

This is such a lucky find in a beautiful spot!! We absolutely loved our stay here and the hosts were so helpful to anything we needed. It was easy to have lots of room to park then the condo was the perfect place to stay with lots of room for the two of us to enjoy our time. Spending hours on the lanai and listening to the ocean and enjoying reading, whale watching, or the birds flying by. The location is perfect in a quiet spot where the people are all really friendly. The area is really well maintained and quiet. We loved being able to walk out directly to the beautiful beach and spend time walking numerous times a day. Plus sitting on the beach in the awesome provided chairs from the hosts and swimming in the ocean :). The Sugar Beach Bakery which is less than a 10 minute walk down the beach is so good and great way to stop the morning. We loved the location as it was an easy drive to any place on the island. We loved this area and are thankful that we got to stay here! We will definitely be back again, mahalo! :)

Perfect Anniversary Getaway

This condo is wonderful! Centrally located on the island. It is stocked with everything you need for the beach and a comfortable stay.The views and sunset stunning. Sugar Beach has a beautiful Long Beach walking area to the right of the condo. Many Gorgeous beaches within minutes of the condo. Road to Hana was a very unique experience. Absolutely delicious restaurants nearby including the general store and

Beautiful Area

This was my first trip to Maui with my mom. It was absolutely beautiful!! I loved being right on the beach. Morning walks were perfect! We didn’t have a rental car, but the bus got us all over. We hired a tour guide & had an amazing time taking a trip to Hana & a sunset trip to the volcano. Absolutely breathtaking! Can’t wait to visit again.

Friendly and Relaxing Quiet Escape

5 Nights was great, but we easily could stay a month! The condo has old school charm, and everything you could need for an excellent stay. The sandwich shop and pub next door was the perfect go-to, and it’s a quick walk down the beach to the ABC and farmer’s market, so that was convenient.

Nice, but aged unit

Nice location on sugar beach. The grounds are beautiful. The unit is old. You have to plug in ceiling fans to turn them on. In the master bedroom you have to climb over a raised double bed to close the window and blinds. The pool is not heated and there is no hot tub. There is no pest control at the room. There were ants and lots of flying bugs. It was rainy and the bugs were intense, For all the added fees it’s not worth the cost. I recommend going further towards town and getting a nicer unit.

Amazing Views!

It's hard to beat the ocean view of this condo. The sunsets were beautiful and we could easily see whales breaching from the patio. The condo is conveniently located in a less busy side of town and is walking distance to some yummy local spots. Check-in/check-out are a breeze and the condo includes a private spot in a secured on-site garage, which we were really happy about. The condo is pretty close to how it is advertised in the listing and I agree with some other reviewers that it feels a bit dated but if you are in Maui, you hopefully won't be spending too much time in there anyway. We gave 4 out of 5 stars due to the cleanliness. In all fairness, the host gave us a solution for the issue we had and that made a big difference. Really, a good deep clean in this condo would make a huge difference for other guests. All in all, we enjoyed our time in this condo and our time in Maui!

Location, location, location!

If you want beautiful ocean views from your room and to be lulled asleep by the sound of waves, this is the place for you. The beach was very walkable (and many places in Maui it isn't). Opening windows allowed for trade winds to cool the place down, and the kitchen was fully equipped with plenty of dishes and glassware. Photos accurately depict the interior... Space is perfect for two adults or a couple with one child. A welcome basket was a nice touch, and the owners promptly addressed any questions I had. And the location.... just great!

Very beautiful and spotless

We can’t be more satisfied with this beautiful house. Felt like home. Everything you need is there. Dogs friendly. Host Scott is very responsive and easy to reach. Very important that house is so clean and nicely equipped. Will definitely stay there again!

Best ocean views, sounds and breeze!

This condo is in a wonderful location with amazing sunset views, cross breeze, and never ending ocean sounds. Daily walks on the beach, to a farmers market, ABC store & a delicious bakery. Comfortable bedding and a perfect set up for family of 3. Kitchen and laundry in condo was useful and convenient. Condo grounds are well kept. Parking spot assigned in parking garage was a plus. Communication with owners was quick and efficient. Appreciate the perk of setting up a golf round. Overall, we enjoyed our week stay and would book again! Mahalo! 🌺

Million Dollar View!!

What a wonderful weeklong stay we had at the end of November. What we loved most was the view, it is absolutely gorgeous. This condo was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The bed was very comfortable, and we loved the pillows. Let's just say we slept like babies with the sound of the ocean coming thru the open windows. We only had to use the air conditioner one time as the trade winds are amazing, just open the front and back door and the breeze will keep you cool. The condo is very well stocked with all you need. There are a couple of coolers to use on day trips in the bedroom closet, lawn chairs, boogie boards, snorkel equipment stored under the spare bed. If you do need to buy anything there is a store call ABC store just 1/2 mile down the road or beach if you walk, and their prices are much less than any place else. Also, there is any amazing bakery next door, you have to try the banana bread. The fresh fruit on the island is so delicious and if you have never tried an apple banana, you must, but it will ruin you for ever wanting to eat a regular banana. The beach is only downstairs and steps from the condo. We found this to be a very quiet and relaxed place to stay. We never heard any of the neighbors when we were inside. The pool looked nice, but we didn't use it as we swam in the ocean. Denise and Tony were great to work with, always getting back to us quickly with any questions we had.

Unfortunately we had to cancel our trip because of the fires but Denise and Tony could not have been easier to deal. They were very responsive and couldn’t have been kinder. We look forward to rescheduling our trip in the near future!

Nice condo in a great location

We loved our stay. It is in a great location and the condo is nice and clean with a wonderful view. Loved the walks on the beach to the bakery and farmers market. Would stay here again.

Perfect

The condo was better than even the listing described. The kitchen had everything we needed and the view from the lanai could be one of the best on the island. Stayed in July and did not use the air conditioner once - the trade winds blow through and cool everything nicely. Kihei is the perfect home base for exploring Maui. The beach supplies provided were used every day. Mahalo and then some to condo hosts Denise and Tony.

Kihei paradise

This condo is just the right size for a family of 3. It just steps off of sugar beach. It is perfectly centered within other beaches and places to eat, no more than 20 minutes from anything. Loved that it had a washer and dryer as well as beach towels and beach toys and chairs. Owners were very easy to work with, highly recommend this property.

Visit to Paradise

Check-in and info about condo and surrounding area was outstanding. Communication and response from owners with a question was quick. Condo is older and a little dated, but the view, and the sound of the ocean waves from the condo is incredible. Condo is located ideally on the island for easy access to the rest of the island. Only recommendation I would make is to replace couch and get a larger tv. Thats just personal preference. Thank you for a wonderful vacation trip.

Tony Hitchman and Denise Frey are partners in life and first visited Maui together in December 2019. They fell in love with Kihei and Sugar Beach on that visit and purchased their first condo in February 2020! Now they own both #202 and #302 at Kealia on Sugar Beach and share their beautiful vacation homes with others.
They especially enjoy when their children and grandchildren can visit and having both condos can make that even better!

We fell in love with this property at first sight. The view and easy access to the beach is a top priority for us and when we saw Kealia Resort we knew this was the place for us. There's a lack of pretension here that makes everyone more comfortable and they're able to relax and enjoy more than in larger resorts.

We live in this property part-time and therefore we care for it more personally than management companies.
