Welcome to the your home away from home in the Sunapee, Dartmouth, Lakes region. Just 90 minutes from Boston but a world away, this large home is perfect for family gatherings a simple family getaway. Enjoy a large backyard that leads to a peaceful forest and mountain stream. Short walk from private sandy beach on peaceful Loon Lake for Kayaking, Paddleboarding and swimming. 12 minutes to the slopes of Mt. Sunapee and the public boat launch at Lake Sunapee. Miles of hiking and mountain biking trails in every direction. 5 bedrooms sleeps 6 adults and 6 kids comfortably on memory foam mattresses. Large loft with desk and finished rec room basement with pool and foosball tables and many board games. Big screen TVs everywhere. Large deck with propane grill and outdoor seating/ gas fireplace. Solo stove smokeless outdoor fire pit for evenings around the campfire. Sonos/ Apple airplay system throughout the home. Fully stocked kitchen with coffee and tea, oil, spices, condiments, pots and pans, crock pot, waffle maker, toaster oven, popcorn air popper, coffee maker, mixing bowls, baking sheets more.

    We stayed at Paul & Landin's home for an extended family getaway and our entire trip was idyllic!The house offered tons of space for us to spread out, plentiful outdoor spaces, and everything else we needed for a great week. This is by far the most well-appointed vacation rental I've ever stayed in. It was clean, well-stocked, and exactly as pictured.Check-in and out were both a breeze, and Paul was super communicative and quick to jump in with recommendations for local spots, activities, and dining. I highly recommend!

    Wonderful stay

    We absolutely loved our stay at this home. We spent the weekend celebrating our grandfathers 98th birthday. The home is spacious, fully stocked, clean and it accommodated our every need as a group. Paul was such a pleasure to deal with and made this experience even more pleasant . Thank you Paul and family for sharing your home with our family-We will definitely be back!

    The home in Croydon was a perfect stay for our family. Location was hard to find initially, however, the directions provided by the owner were great.

    Serenity in a lovely, spacious home!!

    This trip could not have been more perfect in any way! We were a family of 6 adults and 1 child and we had such a great time. The home is beautiful inside and outside and very spacious, it has everything you could possibly need. There is a game room downstairs which was enjoyed by everyone not to mention the short walk to the private lake. It was so peaceful and we all enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking. What a great gem!! Paul was wonderful and couldn’t have been more helpful. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us and allowing us to make such great memories!!

    Amazing Property

    We stayed with 3 familes, this house was setup perfectly for what we needed. The home was beautiful, clean, and exactly as described. This house supplies many things that other houses do not, it made the stay so much more comfortable and convenient. Communication with the owners was quick and easy. I highly recommend this house.

    Great lake house for family gathering

    The house is well-equipped and has lots of great space for the family to relax, both indoors and outdoors. The owners provide guest access to their water sports equipment and we thoroughly enjoyed our time on the small lake without needing to find rental equipment. This was a great spot for our family reunion.

    New Hampshire Vacation

    We had an awesome vacation at the Croydon, NH house. We kayaked, paddle boarded and swam on the lake, went to a waterfall, took a day trip to Lake Winnipesaukee, rented a pontoon boat on Lake Sunapee , cooked at the house and went out to eat a few times for dinner. The ice-cream at the nearby farm was great as well. The house was perfect for our family. The owner, Paul, was very hospitable and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. The house is very clean and more well-stock than most rentals. This was an added bonus because we were not expecting some of the extras. Would definitely recommend this rental.

    Perfect winter escape!

    We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay at this lovely home! The house had everything we needed for our group of 7, which includes kids ages 9-18. It’s as clean and well decorated as the pictures show and the layout is perfect. The foosball and pool tables were such a bonus and the yard made for some pretty epic sledding. We’re already planning our return!

    Best vacation rental we’ve ever had

    This is an outstanding listing. The property is lovely and bright, cozy furniture— perfect for lounging. Big table fit all of us; kitchen amazingly well stocked. The outdoor space is lovely and peaceful. We enjoyed walks on the property, dinner on the deck, scary stories around the fire table, and s’mores on the solo stove. A member of our party has mobility issues and had no trouble with the house, as several bedrooms are on the main floor. We came just before peak colors in the fall and every drive was stunning, as were walks to the lake in the neighborhood association. We hiked and visited nearby sites. Initially I thought the location might be too remote but there was plenty to do over our 5 day stay. Hosts are knowledgeable and generous.

    Spacious, Peaceful, and Comfortable

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Croydon Lake/Ski House. The place was in excellent shape when we arrived (clean and well equipped), and the roses and lilies were a nice extra touch! The space itself was more than enough for us, and we very much enjoyed all of the outdoor space. The furniture and beds were comfortable, and it was very easy to feel right at home. Communication with Paul was easy, and the internet was very reliable. We also appreciated all of the outdoor equipment available for use at the beach which was just a short walk away. We would definitely stay at this rental again!

    Lovely Private Lake and Fabulous House!

    We had such a wonderful vacation week at this Croydon house. First, the house is perfect for large groups - we were 6 adults and 3 children. Plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is amazingly well equipped, a dream to cook and bake in. We also made good use of the outdoor deck to grill, eat, and read on. There are two kayaks, one kid sit-on-top kayak, and a stand-up paddleboard. The walk down to the lake is a breeze with the kayak trolleys provided - it's less than 1/4 mile! Once at the lake, we paddled, swam, floated, played, and happily relaxed. It was peaceful there any time of day! We also found lots to do in the surrounding area, from blueberry picking (it was July), to hiking up Mt. Sunapee and Mt. Cardigan, to jumping into swimming holes! Fabulous house, fabulous location, and fabulous host!

    Crazy for Croydon

    This property is a little piece of heaven on earth. It is nestled in the lake region of New Hampshire with a private lake a short walk away. The house itself is absolutely beautiful! The pictures posted are amazing, but the house is so. much more. It's open floor plan makes it easy for family gatherings. The owners have added a large table in the dinning room, which easily sits 10 people, and there is seating on the beautiful deck for at least 10 more! The bedrooms, which aren't pictured, are nicely decorated and very warm feeling- much like home. We had 3 middle aged people and two elderly ladies stay upstairs. The bathrooms were easily accessible for the ladies and their walkers. The three 20 somethings stayed downstairs which had another 2 bedrooms, bathroom, living room, pool table and foosball table. They really enjoyed having their own space! The owners also have kayaks and a paddle board to use on Loon Lake, which is a five minute walk down the road. The lake is beautiful! We enjoyed having it all to ourselves and wish we had a few extra days to enjoy it! We can only imagine how beautiful this house will be in the fall! We would love to come back and see the foliage! We will definitely stay at this property again!
