In the Trees, Close to Town!

Beautiful home in Rapid City. Located just outside of the city limits (4 minutes from I-90 access) in secluded and very pleasant wooded area. The home has a beautiful view with a great deck to enjoy it all! Inside you'll find a large kitchen full of all the cooking equipment and utensils you'll need, a living room with comfy couch, a large bathroom with two sinks, washer and dryer, and two bedrooms with a queen bed in each. There is an inflatable mattress with linens available as well. We are very knowledgeable about the Hills and surrounding area and would be happy to share with you any advice about things to do/see in the area!

We really enjoyed our stay! The view from the home was absolutely spectacular — the kind that makes you pause and take it all in every time you walk past a window. The kitchen was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed to cook full meals for our family, which made it feel like a true home away from home. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making the entire experience seamless from start to finish. We appreciated all the small touches that made our stay so comfortable, and we would absolutely stay here again on our next visit.

The house was perfect for our stay- very clean and well kept and spacious. The deck view was amazing for morning coffee/breakfast. We visited the black hills to hike and then drop off our oldest son at college. The location was close to all our activities (Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park, hiking around Keystone, Sylvan Lake) and then come back to a cozy home where we could relax as a family. Thank you!!!

Excellent home in a great location

This home is a must stay. I loved the location. It was close to town but set back on the hillside. We loved the views of the city and wildlife (turkey and deer). The home is cozy and very clean. The kitchen has everything you’d need to make a meal. Tim is great at communicating and we had a simple, smooth check in and check out process. They leave a really in depth guide of things to do and see that really helped us decide where to go and places to eat. Would stay here again if we are ever back in rapid city.

AMAZING HIDDEN GEM

This property is a piece of heaven, secluded but close to everything. I was in town for work and this was perfect retreat after a long day! House has everything and the bed was GREAT! host was perfect and family that owns this is so sweet, his dad even delivered FRESH HANDMADE ICE CREAM from a motor ice cream maker, he built by hand! I will for sure be staying here again soon! Thanks so much guys❤️🙏

Amazing location!

Peaceful location in the trees but close to town. It was perfect for our family of 5 to enjoy and plenty of room. We would stay here again next time we come to rapid city.

Clean, quiet, secluded, cozy!

Absolutely loved staying here! So nice and quiet and we all loved the house. The kids played on the decks and up in the loft and the kitchen was fun to cook in! Will definitely be back when we are visiting the black hills!

The property is exactly as advertised and included everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay and watching the fireworks all across Rapid City over the 4th of July weekend. The access is gravel and steep, while we actually enjoyed the drive up, our granddaughter visiting, said she slipped a little. She is a young driver and drives a small Mazda 3 so that would make the difference. We would choose this property again.

House up in the hill

Amazing!! My family absolutely enjoyed themselves. Like other reviewers said, the road to the house is rather intimidating, but is well worth it. You can see the city from the top of the hill. We saw deers and turkeys in the morning. Close to all attractions. Hosts were attentive and place was super clean. Will stay here again!

This house was perfect for our vacation in Rapid City

This was a perfect house for us to stay in as we vacationed in Rapid City. Tim was very communicative and the house was clean! We had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook our meals and the house was big enough for our family of five. The beds were very comfortable as well. We really enjoyed the wildlife that came to visit in the back yard.

Family vacation

Thank you so much for sharing your house with us! We had an enjoyable time visiting the Black Hills and great views from the property. The house had everything we needed and was perfect for our family of 5. An added bonus was seeing the wild turkeys walk but every day and seeing them fly from their roost in the mornings.

Nice location /Comfy accommodations

The details and pictures are pretty true to what is offered. Had a couple issues (WiFi passcode, tv not working) but all was rectified promptly. I could get picky like I’d prefer a better shower head but honestly everything worked and was perfect for the 3 of us. Oh, and we did see wildlife daily (turkey, deer) I would recommend this property.

Great place to stay!

Everything was just as listed and perfect for what we needed. Very quiet and even saw some turkeys and deer while there. Very neat view of the Rapid City night skyline too!
