We had an enjoyable time staying there. The back bedroom on occasion would smell smokey as we assumed it came from the individual who lived separately in a basement under that portion of the house. Otherwise, the stay was uneventful.

Rapid city vacation

There was so much to see in Rapid city and the surrounding area that we didn't spend much time at the property. At the end of the day it was nice to have a place where we can rest. Kitchen was very nice, and washer/dryer availability was a big plus.

Beautifully, well appointed home

We loved staying at the Fairmont House. It’s was a perfect location for our South Dakota vacation. Very clean, modern furnishings with a twist of farm chic. The kitchen was perfect for us to cook eat as a family. The neighborhood was just delightful! Great walking location to downtown. This is a perfect place to stay to see the black hills, badlands, Mt Rushmore and all the surrounding attractions.

The cozy and comfortable House.

It was updated and very clean. Centrally located to everything. If I ever go back to Rapid City I would stay again.

South Dakota Family Adventure

This is a great property for a family vacation. Nice home in a great neighborhood. Rapid City is ideally situated for wonderful day trips to the State and National Parks.

Great house

Just the right spot for a Mines graduation weekend celebration! The house was exactly what we wanted and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was a perfect size with an island for visiting with the chef. There was lots of sunlight through all the windows making for a very cheery living room. Thank you!!

Rapid City Getaway

Great house in a cute neighborhood! 10 minute walk to downtown. House was immaculate. So clean and cute. Host was very sweet and reached out to make sure we had everything we needed. Very responsive. Made for a perfect for a weekend with my family and would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Pre Sturgis getaway!

We absolutely loved the location of this property! When we got there she had coffee and supplies ready for us 💕 we had an issue which she took care of immediately and took great care of us! We would absolutely stay here again 😊

Family Vacation

We loved the cute house! It was a great landing place for us at the end of the day of sightseeing. We loved taking day trips to surrounding tourist attractions, and having a lovely home to come back to. Larissa was great to work with!

Great Stay

We loved our stay at this property. Fabulous kitchen for any cooking you would like to do. The 3 bedrooms were all comfortable, clean, plenty of room for your luggage and hanging clothes. Having two bathrooms was perfect for our group as we all were in town for a family wedding. It was nice to lounge in the living room in the evenings w a bit of tv. We all found it to be an easy walk to all the downtown area shops and loved going out walking in the early morning along the West Boulevard Historic District-lots of beautiful homes to walk by.

Lovely Stay in Rapid City (4th July)

Beauty 3 BDRM home. Very convenient to restaurants & grocery stores. Very clean and centrally located near all the great South Dakota sites and parks. Larissa was very informative and very easy to work. Would definitely stay here again. No concerns or complaints.

Adorable house in a great location

The house was really cute and comfortable in a great neighbohood. We enjoyed talking to the neighbors, strolling in the evenings and all of the rabbits (and sometimes deer) that came out in late afternoon. The house was centrally located, close to down town, the coffee shop and the grocery store. The owner was nice and quick to respond to issues or questions. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location and perfect accommodations for our family

This was a great location. Close to downtown and some nice restaurants. The house fit our family well with three bedrooms with queen beds. Two bathrooms and nice kitchen. Would stay here again.

Great House + Central Location

We picked this house for the central location--close to many outdoor attractions with a quaint city feel. Beautiful remodel, comfy bedrooms, just the right amount of space everywhere. Easy to work remote and walkable to downtown.

Perfect stay! Great location

This house was perfect for our stay in SD. It’s located in a great area. The house is close to lots of restaurants, bars and shops in the cute downtown area. The grocery store and some coffee shops are within blocks of the house as well. The house is beautifully decorated and equipped with all you will need for your stay. The owner left coffee and creamer for us- a very nice touch and especially needed in the morning after a late arrival! This house has plenty of space. We had a group of four and the house was perfect sized to spread out. The owner is very nice and easy to get in contact with. She’s helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again when back in SD!

Black Hills Escape

The Fairview House is absolutely charming. Recently updated with very attractive, thoughtful features. Like the bedside lamps that turn on and off with a soft touch. Had everything we needed after a day of exploring; kitchen with the essentials and a cozy living room. The neighborhood is lovely, close to downtown for food and coffee shops. Easy access to highways to Mount Rushmore, Custer and Badlands. To top it off, Larissa was a fabulous host. She is extremely communicative, responsive and goes the extra mile to make your stay wonderful. Great spot that we would absolutely revisit when in the area.
