Welcome to the Cottage at Peppertree Lane Ranch, your personal farmhouse-style getaway in the heart of Temecula Wine Country!

We offer an upscale home on a seven-acre guest ranch surrounded by vineyards. The wineries of Palumbo and Lorenzi are our immediate neighbors, and with direct gated access to vineyard trails, a number of major wineries are a short walk away, including Bottaia, Wines, Ponte, South Coast, and Monte de Oro.

Wake each morning to the sight of hot-air balloons filling the skies, and raise a glass while watching the sunset over the neighboring vineyards.

The Cottage at Peppertree Lane Ranch is decorated tastefully with upscale rustic ranch décor and every amenity you’ll need to unplug, unwind and feel pampered.

-- Located in the heart of Temecula Valley Wine Country, surrounded by vineyards, immediately between Palumbo and Lorenzi and within walking distance (on the vineyard trails) from several of the major Rancho California wineries.

-- Situated on a quiet, gated 7-acre guest ranch with trails and roads you’re free to explore and enjoy.

-- Featuring a recreation and relaxation area reserved for Cottage guests, with picnic table, grill, hammock, bocce court, and cornhole boards.

-- Both the front and back patios of the Cottage are set up for quiet relaxation, with outdoor dining, Adirondack chairs, and rocking chairs for enjoying coffee, wine, hot air balloon viewing, and the peaceful Temecula Valley landscape.

-- Living room with 65-inch smart TV with complimentary Netflix

-- Both bedrooms feature queen Casper mattresses, smart TVs, ceiling fans and plenty of drawers and closet space. The Vineyard Room has its own bathroom, and the Sunrise Room has easy access to the guest bathroom.

great location and outdoor space

Really enjoyed a relaxing weekend trip with wife and her parents. Well kept home with plenty of outdoor space and located very close to local wineries. The hot air balloons filling the skies in the morning were an awesome sight!

We had a few hiccups! We were in wine country and had plastic cups for wine and a broken wine opener! Loved the place, wish we could have accessed the ping pong table! We would definitely visit again!!

Charming, clean and close to everything! Check in process and departure were a breeze. The property views, amenities and location are phenomenal. Hosts were friendly and very accommodating. There was a pack and play and high chair so I didn’t have to pack any extra baby stuff :) overall 11/10!

Perfect Getaway

This cottage was great! Very comfortable for two couples. Loved sitting on the porch in the morning with our coffee. Loved walking the trails in the vineyards. This home was also very well stocked. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Wine Country Visit

The property was perfect for our weekend stay while we visited the wineries in Temecula with friends. The cottage contained everything needed to make it a home away from home. We'll definitely return. We just wish there was a firepit closer to the cottage for a nice evening to sit by the fire outside and enjoy a glass of wine.

Wonderful stay for my mom's bday

The cottage is such a dream! Impeccably clean with thoughtfully appointed (coffee, snacks, toiletries, water, chargers). And the location is so convenient. 5 minute drive to many wineries and we actually walked to a few that took 20-30 min to get to on foot. We also took advantage of the game room - the ping pong table was so fun! My mom was very impressed with the place and we hope to be back soon!

Nice stay close to all the wineries.

Overall we had a good stay at the Cottage at Peppertree Lane Ranch. The photos accurately depicted the actual property. The home was very clean and well appointed. There was a very good supply of condiments, coffee, etc that minimized the need for purchasing these items. We were greeted with a welcome note and a nice bottle of local wine! There was a very detailed binder of information including recommendations on wineries and restaurants. We liked the location since it was somewhat secluded/private but close to all the wineries. It's about a 15 minute drive to town for shopping, food, etc. which wasn't a big deal. We would have given the property a five star rating (which is hard to achieve by our standards) except for a few relatively small details. There was a lot of rain in the area before our arrival which created a very muddy and rutted road to get to the property since it was accessed by a non-paved road. Not the owner's fault but something to keep in mind. The living room furniture wasn't exactly comfortable. The couch was very low on the back and the one other chair wasn't great. Could have used another chair in that area as well. I'm not sure if it was due to all the rain but there was a roof leak in the second bedroom that just happened to leak on to some items we had set on the dresser. Something for the owner's to address (I think the problem is along one side of the dormer above the second bedroom). We would stay here again all things considered.

One of the nicest rentals we've ever stayed in

Property is immaculate, extremely well-stocked with many personal and thoughtful touches, kitchen items are plentiful and labeled, plenty of towels and extra blankets, really appreciated the bottled water, coffee, wine, instruction notes throughout, easy to use thermostat and speaker system, beautiful views from the property, zero complaints. Coffee on the porch watching the hot air balloons in the morning was so peaceful! Perhaps one small suggestion would be to upgrade the couch because it is not very comfortable to sit and watch a movie on. We also could not use the fireplace as it was being repaired but it did not put a damper on our trip at all. We can't wait to come back to this property!

Great Experience!

This was one of the best experiences we have had. The pics don’t do the cottage justice, it was awesome, clean and both rooms were equally sized which is great for 2 couples. The location was perfect 5 minutes to countless vineyards and about 15 mins to old town. The cottage was stocked with coffee, snacks, and pretty much anything we needed. The hosts were so friendly and communicative. Check in and check out was simple and they even gave us some ideas for wineries etc. We would stay here again for sure.

Perfect weekend!

Shawn and Shakeh were excellent hosts. It began with amazing wine country recommendations they provided before our arrival. We were able to experience the Uys family winery tour/tasting. It was so personal and a memory we'll never forget! The arrival at the home was seamless. Clean, private, stocked with all the necessities (coffee, snacks, sparkling waters, even welcomed with a beautiful bottle of wine from their neighboring winery)! The 2 nights spent out at horse ring made our trip. Fire pit (lovely wood provided), corn hole, endless games and entertainment. We were blown away by the whole experience, and recommend it to everyone!

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

Very much enjoyed the property and Cottage. Loved and appreciated: The cleanliness, bottle of wine and glasses was a nice warm welcome, the Rumi and Owl books in the bedrooms, front patio to relax, back patio to view the hot air balloon in the early morning, the trail for a morning walk and 2 nearby winery's, kitchen has everything you need as well as the outside grill, the hammock was nice to look at the stars at night. Short drive to many other wineries in the area.

Amazing property

We have stayed at countless properties all over the world and they got it right in every way. It was well appointed with thoughtful surprises. ( drinks & snacks already stocked in the fridge & in the kitchen). Thoughtful Bathroom amenities were on pair with a 5 star hotel. Games, bbq charcoal, firewood are among many additions that made it so easy to stay at the property without spending hours shopping for resources. House is very clean and comfortable, location was perfect. So glad we stayed and would definitely go again. Highly recommend

Great! Peppertree Lane Ranch

Well, we stayed in the "cottage" portion of the property and we loved it! It is really in a good location-- close to wineries in all directions both walking and driving. About 20 mins to the town by car. The property was fairly private, sharing the land area with another VRBO house on the same Ranch. Outside, you are surrounded by vines and horse arenas/stables/etc. Plenty of room on the property to feel the space and the owners have made the space available and accessible. The cottage has a front porch and a back patio and both have plenty of seating. The property and area around the cottage is a granite base, so it is a little messy--especially in the rain (we had a couple of rain rest days). There is a large garage that is also available for use. The property is gated so we felt very safe. The cottage is a 2 bdrm/2ba property and stocked very well with the "staples" of everything in the Kitchen and Baths. The instruction of how to run the property are crisp and clear leaving you with no doubt about how to handle things. All the utilities worked fine. The only thing that could use improvement is the seating arrangement in the main room. The low back sofa is not comfortable for sitting more than a few minutes. But while on vacation, who sits in the living room? Well, we got rained out, so we did. So we know. We felt comfortable and safe! Realistically, we enjoyed this property and would love to stay again!

Perfect girls trip location

The entire experience was amazing! The cottage was comfortable and beautifully equipt with everything we could/would need: snacks, water, toiletries, and even wine! The location was perfect for everything we did including a wine tour, hot air balloon ride, and Old Town Temecula. Definitely do the winery walking trail to the 3 closest wineries. The grounds were so quiet and peaceful. We had the best time!!

5-Star Ranch Retreat

All the 5-star reviews were spot on -- Peppertree over-delivered on our expectations! We stayed in the cottage, which had everything we needed for a long-weekend away. It was a great space equipped with all the basics, yet bonuses like snacks, games, bottle of wine, bottled water and wood for the fireplace. The property is also amazing. It borders the walking trail to a handful of wineries. We especially like Lorenzi which is right down the road. Can't recommend enough!

Spectacular Sipping

We had a wonderful time at Peppertree Ranch. The Cottage is located right in the middle of the wine loop and has a beautiful walking trail leading to wineries. The house was thoughtfully decorated and cozy. Our highlight was having a bonfire and making s’mores at the firepit on property. Would highly recommend for someone wanting to spend a weekend in Temecula!

wine tasting week

What a wonderful week we had! The hosts were always available for anything that we needed,(which was nothing). The home was clean and came with nice little touches (biscottis in the morning, bottled water at night). Easy access to Temecula and the wineries! 5 star property!
