I gave it 3 stars because...
We asked for an early check in, they said no. We had considered adding extra days and knew the house had been vacant for the entire week before our arrival. We asked again letting them know we would be arriving a couple hours earlier from our 17 hour drive from Michigan how much would it cost? $60 for 4 hours, which was more than a 1/4 of a daily rental fee. Other than that there is no flexibilty on early check in. So I waited in the driveway, in front of a vacant house until 4. I understand if they're swamped, but it was empty and no one came or went. That inflexibilty didn't sit well for the trip (we were there for 2 weeks, another reason to not allow 2 extra hours seemed out of place.)
The carpet is worn and needs to be replaced,
The tile on the main floor was improperly installed and they are starting to come up, 2 missing tiles were covered up by a carpet in the kitchen.
There was a big patch in the hallway upstairs that hadn't been primed or painted.
The house was in overall nice shape, Kitchen well stocked with items, appliances were good, the pool area was very nice. The
maintenence men were the nicest we have had. We had 2 concerns and they came and fixed them quickly. Overall I would recommend the house, just be aware of their strict adherence to policy.
