Esta encantadora casa de campo tiene una vista increíble con una gran terraza sentada en las dunas, con vistas al Océano Atlántico. Este es un retiro especial. Lo llamamos nuestro Island Oasis. Hemos disfrutado de muchas vacaciones aquí y esperamos que lo encuentren tan atractivo como nosotros.

Hemos descubierto que no importa a dónde viajemos, anhelamos nuestro oasis isleño. Durante todos los años que hemos pasado aquí, seguimos descubriendo cosas nuevas y emocionantes que hacer.
Desde paseos en carruajes tirados por caballos por las calles empedradas del centro de Fernandina hasta excursiones en segway a través de los parques nacionales hasta excursiones al zoológico de Jacksonville o la isla Cumberland, hay muchas actividades para mantenerte ocupado. Once again, the Cottage by the Sea did not disappoint! The cottage updates were so attractive, the look was bright and fresh. It was spotless and had everything we needed. We can’t wait to go back soon!

Perfect getaway

My friend and I come each year to the cottage for a relaxing getaway, and we’re about to book our third stay! The interior is spotless and well appointed, and it’s just steps away from the ocean. We only left one time during our week stay! Can’t wait to go back.

Christmas 2024

It was a cozy cottage and it was a perfect getaway. We were able to immediately put our toes in the sand after stepping off the porch and do easy bike rides to ft clinch and egans greenway. It’s a quick drive to the center of Fernandina or Jacksonville. It was a wonderful week.

Beautiful Beachside cottage

This was a great find right on the beach. Home was well appointed with all the necessities and then some. It is right on the beach with its own deck where you can watch and listen to the breaking waves. Everything you need is for a pleasant stay is right there. Check in checkout was a breeze and Amy was attentive, responsive, and easy to work with. Highly recommend! t was a breeze and Amy work with

Spectacular Sunrises

This Beach Cottage is as pictured, wonderfully comfortable, perfect for two couples. everything we needed was provided in quantity and quality from linens and towels to appliances and hot water. We live in Fernandina but a long weekend living on the beach with beautiful sunrises is an extra special treat. Our land locked friends who joined us were equally impressed. Definitely on our "wish to return" list. Thank you Amy for taking good care of us

Wow!! What a great place!

Wow! We loved this place! Nice ocean views from the deck or the living room; which has plenty of windows and a nice big sliding glass door. A few steps to the beach which was excellent! Great beach for walking, bike riding, tanning, or swimming.A short bike ride to Fort Clinch which we definitely took advantage of. A short car ride to downtown Fernandina where most of the shops and restaurants are. The property is clean, recently refurbished, well stocked, and Amy was very attentive and easy to get in touch with! The bed was comfy and the bathrooms were clean and bright!Everything was as it should be. Perfect set up for my wife and I. We were very pleased and look forward to coming back!!

Our favorite beach place ever!

You can't beat Amy's place in terms of being located right on a beautiful beach, convenient to town and restaurants, clean, well-equipped, and very well-managed. This is definitely our favorite place, and we have traveled the world over.

Always a joy!

This is the fourth time that we have stayed in the Cottage by the Sea. We have enjoyed every trip. We love the cottage and its location on the beach plus its access to restaurants and shopping. Amy is very accommodating and responsive. Recent renovations have been made to the cottage and improved the property even more. I recommend wholeheartedly.

Beyond Perfect

This was our 4th stay at the “Cottage By The Sea” and we’re already planning our return for next year. Believe the other reviews. Everything about this property is excellent and designed for the perfect beach getaway. The location is private and quiet with off street parking and an up close view of the dunes and beach. Amy, the property owner is a perfect host focused on making sure you have the perfect stay.

Missing the beach already

This was our fourth time to stay at the little blue house and we had a wonderful time as always. The house is in the perfect location, right on the beach and just minutes from downtown Fernandina. We can't wait to go back!

Perfect Location

This was our second stay here. We’ve already booked our third and fourth stays for 2024. Amy is a very thoughtful host and is local if you need anything. Can’t beat the privacy and convenience of the deck in the dunes!

Ideal location for friends getaway!

First time to Fernandina Beach and absolutely loved it! Amy’s beachfront house was absolutely perfect! Gorgeous sunrises and long walks on the beach. Everything within 2 miles if you want to venture out. Would definitely recommend!

Return to the cottage!

This was our 2nd stay at the cottage and hopefully we will be back for a 3rd! Waking up to the ocean view never gets old. The cottage is equipped with everything you need and is very cozy. We truly love it!

Escape from the north country

My wife and I were looking to escape from the cold of the north and spend some time on the beach. This location was fabulous. Right on the beach with spectacular sunrises, a great deck for cocktails, and a newly remodeled interior. The landlord was readily available and made us feel welcome. We look forward to coming back next year.

We have vacationed on Amelia Island since I was a child. After I had children, we continued to visit Amelia Island. At some point we decided to visit other beaches. My children begged to go back to Amelia Island! We have always enjoyed searching for sharks' teeth, collecting seashells, biking downtown for ice-cream, feeding the birds.....Amelia Island is the place we long to be!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We fell in love with this property because of this little cottage. When I saw the unbelievable view of the ocean from inside the cottage, I started to cry. (And my husband knew it was a 'done deal'!) Our cottage has so much charm and character! It was built years ago, before the building setbacks were put in place. The location of our cottage is right on the sand! You just can't get any closer to the water! I think Amelia Island is special because it is not too commercialized. When you drive onto the island, you immediately feel the slower pace, the relaxed feel of the island! The main beach street has some new construction, but it also has a nice mix of old beach cottages that have been in families for years! It really adds a lot of character to the island. If you visit the downtown, you feel as though you have stepped back in time. Families are strolling along the sidewalks and peeking into charming shops, locally owned bookstores, and coffee shops. You can't leave downtown without a taste of ice-cream or homemade fudge from the Fantastic Fudge Shop!
