TRENDY TWO BEDROOM APARTMENT @ BREJA HAUS
This recently decked out BREJA HAUS rental was decorated to the nines.
Both Queen sized bedrooms have hotel grade linens, down comforters, textural throws, smart tvs, etc. Feel free to unpack your clothes into built-in closets or use the suitcase stands, provided.
The living spaces have a mid-century "FRESH" feel with a full sized leather couch and a butterfly chair flanked by bespoke artwork. The smart tv is attached to rough- hewn wood "art wall" with an electric fireplace to make the space feel extra cozy for your stay.
The kitchen is well supplied with what we would want when renting and has plenty of seating at a table and full length bar with all white (or black) dishes to make your home cooked meals look and feel like a high end restaurant's.
The full bath is fresh, clean and cute... with enough hooks to keep your towels neat while you enjoy your stay.

To the north of our house are easements and unoccupied hills with mountain, northern lights, and wild life views to explore.
Near by is the main road leading to some of the most iconic 'ALASKA' mountains, lakes, walking or hiking trails, oceans you can experience. Oh yeah.. that road has stores and a few restaurants within a 2 mile drive (close, by local standards).
For planning your trip: this location is a great staging point for day trip or coming back to after 1-2 day excursions. We would love to give you the inside scoop on where the locals go for the best experiences ranging from 5 min-7 hours away.

Amberly and Aj Breja have been married since 2005 and have 3 preteen children. We are fun loving Alaska Adventuring family who loves to kayak, RV and hike around Alaska. When you stay with us, we share a curated list of spots we invite you to visit... including a few local secrets!

In 2012, we finished university and moved back to Palmer to renovate this house from the studs up. When the main part of our house was finished with solid wood floors, detailed woodwork and designer kitchen, we decided to splurge one step further and build a beautiful addition/ livingroom /loft/ kitchen with soaring 18 ft ceilings and 11 foot window looking out on the wooded meadow.
This means... the apartment below our sleeping quarters seems really remote because we only spend time in that part of the house near bed time. All other times of the day we are far away in the addition.
We chose this house location partially because of the potentials for renovation, partially because it resides on a wooded cul-de-sac near shopping, gas, coffee, resturants....but MOSTLY because it is in prime location in the very heart of our community. In every direction, you can drive a few minutes and get to either the attractions, amenities, or excellent Alaskan adventures.

Over the last 11 years, we have painstakingly renovated, landscaped, and created bespoke art and beauty. If you rent near Christmas time, we may even just set up a full Christmas decor plan to make your space tastefully festive.
