This home is the perfect FURNISHED retreat for a long term stay (31 days or more). This beautiful 4BR, 2.5 bathroom is located walking distance to the best hiking trails in the area, 3 minutes to downtown Santa Barbara and 5 minutes to the most beautiful beaches in California!
As you enter this spacious home, you will find vaulted ceilings, beautiful furnishings and plenty of spaces to relax! Special features included are: built in to the island phone charging stations, changing colored fireplace, extra large kitchen/living entertainment area, double oven, laundry room next to the large bedroom. This is the Perfect home for entertaining with Sonos speakers, ping pong table, open sliders to spacious backyard, fire pits (front and backyard) and outside lighting. For those who love to cook, this gourmet kitchen comes with everything you need, including a double oven, pot filler, extra outlets built into the extra large island, a walk in pantry, slide out drawers, spice drawers, and plenty of kitchen storage. For those who prefer the outdoors, there is a Kamado Joe for your bbq and pizza oven desires.

Enjoy your beautiful San Roque surroundings, with parks close by and lots of beautiful homes to view while taking those evening strolls.

We have four large BR’s with handcrafted barn doors throughout for that “rustic” look.

Please lower the outdoor backyard umbrella when it is breezy, as winds tend to pick up at times.

Great stay in Santa Barbara

Nice home in a good neighborhood

Backyard is well appointed with furniture and fire pit, ping pong table. Spacious kitchen and living room, well stocked with essentials such as towels, utensils and appliances. Spice drawer and walk in pantry also quite well stocked. Enjoyed our stay

Great place

We stayed at at this house on a family road trip to Santa Barbara. It was clean, quiet and comfortable, and in a nice neighborhood off north state street (just a few minutes from all the places we wanted to hit in SB). The kids loved the huge bunk beds. The kitchen, dining area and family room are all open concept and very conducive to “chillaxing” with family. Would definitely go back.

Beautiful remodeled home

Home was perfect size for our family gathering. Beautiful remodeled home inside and out. Bedrooms very spacious along with open living room and kitchen. The backyard was elegant and cozy. Beautiful Home

We absolutely loved this beautifully decorated, well-equipped home. It is nicely located within a short drive to water/town but in a very quiet neighborhood. In short, the pictures don't do it justice! Only caveat: there are a few stairs up/down from the living room to the kitchen/guest bedrooms, which could be a challenge for those with mobility issues/small kids. Otherwise, I can't recommend this home highly enough.

Family celebration

We rented the Lavenders property for a group of 8 - meeting for a family milestone celebration. The house is in an ideal location close proximity to all attractions, walkable to local shopping and parks - and in a lovely neighborhood. The house is beautifully updated with a terrific large open kitchen dining and living area which was our focal point all week long. With doors opening to the well-equipped backyard and perfect weather we were able to easily enjoy nightly dinners and bbq/firepit. The owners were responsive and accommodating and take great pride in their home. Highly recommend a stay here in this charming and beautiful part of the country! We plan to be back.

Lovely getaway

We absolutely loved our stay here. We stayed here for a family get together of 3 families and the layout was absolutely perfect. The floor plan is really open with lots of comfortable space for everyone to hangout and be together. We especially loved the outdoor areas—a front lawn with a fire pit and lots of lounging space in the back. I thought the photos of the listing looked great but I can now say it’s even better in person. We will be returning again to this location in years to come!

It felt like a retreat with thoughtfully designed features to feel at home away from home! The house was a perfect location to unwind and enjoy a family reunion and wedding in Santa Barbara. Fantastic Santa Barbara beach getaway

What a gem this place was! Loved walking into this beautiful and open house. The kids loved sharing the large bunks and the parents got a master hidden away in the back. We enjoyed lots of outside time playing ping pong and making s’mores and often cooked dinners after a long day at the beach for surf camp. I even enjoyed a few hikes which were super close by. Would definitely stay again!

Gorgeous home in a great location with tons of amenities!

This house has the perfect layout for staying with a large group or just a few. The house comes with everything you need and is very well appointed with music, multiple fireplaces, great kitchen and dining space as well as a great back yard space for chilling and playing some ping pong! The bedrooms and baths are beautiful and state of the art. Overall an excellent property and highly recommended!

Family reunion

I have stayed in a number of homes over the past 5+ years with and without family and have nothing but praise for this home. The location while appearing to be away from the action is only minutes from the nearest Trader Joe's in a very nice residential areal. The home is well laid out, has a large common area/cooking area that could accommodate 6 adults and 3 young children without crowding. We have family in Santa Barbara and would not hesitate to request this location again. The ping pong table and beach chairs were a hit, by the way. Thank you Leslie

Beautiful house that was perfect for our family. The house was in a great location and had fantastic indoor AND outdoor space. The hosts made our stay really easy and were excellent at communicating with us. We also appreciated that the house was super clean, stocked and ready for us to relax and enjoy. Beautiful and upgraded home!

The Lavender Home was perfect for our family vacation. The house is new with a lot of upgrades and personal touches. Located close to the beach and shops. The kids enjoyed being inside and outside. Would definitely come back again!

Relaxing Retreat

We had a fantastic stay at Nancy and Tim’s home. The space worked great for our family with two young kids. The kitchen was a lovely space to hang out in while the kids played in the backyard. The location is ideal with beaches and restaurants all within a 10-15 min drive. Nancy and Tim were wonderful and easy to communicate with. We loved our stay and look forward to returning!

My husband I built on this property our dream home, lived here for a year with our kids, then became empty nesters as they relocated to Georgia and Texas for school and work. We realized there is no time like the present to take some time and see all the amazing sights that the US has to offer, before we settle back down in Santa Barbara. We are taking time away from our paradise to let others enjoy it as much as we do. We have had many get togethers, celebrations, holidays and relaxing evenings by the fire in our new home and have loved every minute of it.

This location is essential! When you are in San Roque, you are close to everything! There is so much to do here in SB and this house has everything you need to enjoy it.
If there is something missing or you have questions about what to do, where to go, or an activity you would like to do, but don't know where to go, we will help you.
Our family loves to hike, play tennis, pickle ball, go to the beach, shop and of course eat!
