This 1 bedroom spacious apartment is in the beautiful West Beach neighborhood just 1 block to the beach and harbor. It’s filled with small bungalows, red tile roofs and palm trees only 2 blocks to State Street and the Funk Zone. It is located on a quiet residential street. Walk to a wide variety restaurants, bakeries, coffee houses as well as the train station. A car is optional as you can walk or bike everywhere.

Walls of windows offer natural light and views of the mountains and city in this upstairs end unit. The spacious living room has a dedicated work space and a 50 inch flat screen TV. A fully stocked kitchen and dining area adjoin the living room. The kitchen is also equipped with purified drinking water. The bedroom and bathroom are inspired by the coastal style. Sleep in a comfy tempurpedic style king bed with Egyptian cotton sheets and down comforter. The bathroom is stocked with hotel towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner.

Note: Off-street parking for 1 car in shared garage. There is street parking with time restrictions on the weekends.

Perfect location in a perfect town

This was a perfect location for a single person or couple visiting Santa Barbara. Spacious rooms, very comfortable bed, and a 5-10 minute walk from the water, State Street, tons of bars, restaurants, and wine rooms. We will definitely keep in mind for our next visit!

Cozy hideaway near everything

Unit is located in a lovely area just a 5-minute walk to the beach, restaurants, wharf and shops. Very quiet neighborhood as well. Kitchen was well stocked with all the cookware and appliances you'll need for either a short or long stay. Bedroom with king bed was very comfortable. We both commented on how well we slept each night. Covered off-street parking was a big bonus. Mary was very pleasant when booking on-line and quite helpful with the instructions she sent prior to our arrival. My wife and I were also very surprised when we noticed the small gift she had left for our stay. Will definitely stay here again when travelling to the SB area.

Charming, well equipped Apartment

I found this Coastal Getaway to celebrate my UCSB graduate. VRBO happily offered this option with parking. The neighborhood was darling & peaceful. The beach really was close. The unit was roomy, quaint and provided a comfortable nest while we celebrated this big occasion.PK

Cute apartment, great location

We spent 5 days at Mary’s place while visiting family. Absolutely LOVED the location, just minutes from the beach, pier, restaurants and shops. Mary went the extra mile and even loaned me a hand mixer so I could bake for my son. Only issue was the mattress, which was a bit stiffer than we are used to. We will be back!

Mary was a good host, very responsive and easy to communicate with.The property is a small upstairs apartment that is a great location in Santa Barbara. It is very dated, but reasonably well stocked and comfortable.We feel it is better suited for short stays rather than week long, or longer, stays such as ours. There were only 2 washcloths and 4 towels in the apartment. The absence of a functional laundry made it difficult for a week long stay. There is also no iron or ironing board, but a small hand held steamer which does not press any clothing, which is needed in that climate and for longer stays.The lack of a dishwasher in the small kitchen also creates problems for those that like to cook and eat in.The carpet was not very clean, as our socks tuned dark when walking inside. We were also disappointed that there was no outdoor living space or a place for any like a porch or patio.Overall, we had a nice time and think that the property has value because it's priced below the local market.

Relaxing in cooler weather

We enjoyed our stay at Mary’s apartment. Great location close to beach and restaurants. Bed was very comfortable. All the necessities were provided such as shampoo, conditioner, bath wash, hair dryer etc. kitchen well stocked. We stayed 8 nights and will miss it.

Perfect Spot at the Center of it All!

We (husband and I) had a delightful stay in this perfect for two people property. The apartment is close to the beach, restaurants, and entertainment. Once you park your car in the carport space provided, you can walk to all sorts of places. There are nice touches like two beach chairs and a shoulder cooler bag as well as a comfortable king bed. The host, Mary, is a wonderful communicator and provided great information before and during our stay. We prepared a couple of our own meals as the kitchen is well stocked and the dining area was comfortable with a cool breeze coming off the ocean with the window open - delightful!

Awesome quaint perfect!

The condo alone was wonderful. Just perfect for the two of us. Great location to wharf, harbor, restaurants, bars and shopping. We parked our car in the garage and didn’t need it. We walked everywhere! Will definitely book it again!

Oldie but Goodie!

We had a WONDERFUL stay at this property...it may be old but Mary saw to it that the inside was as perfect as it could be! The bed was ridiculously comfortable, the towels lush and Mary gave us the skinny on all the great places to eat...where the locals go. This is a large apartment, not a 1 bedroom room. We were spoiled...LOVED the location!!

Great location

We had a wonderful time in Santa Barbara. Mary the property owner was very helpful, kind and gracious.The property was outfitted with everything we needed for a week long stay. Off street covered parking was very much appreciated. King size bed was extremely comfortable. The location is walkable to the beach, Stearns Wharf and all the restaurants and stores on State St. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Mary for all your help and kindness.

Amazing Location

We loved this stay! This is the best unit in the building. Second floor on the end; no one will be walking by your windows or doors. Quiet, peaceful, private. The location is perfect; you can walk everywhere (beach, pier, bars, restaurants, shopping) and where you can't walk to there is public transportation. We had no need for a car, although there is a convenient parking space available. Mary is a great host, very responsive. We had zero issues with this rental. Looking forward to coming back next year :)
