Sitting on the sand of Okaloosa Island - El Matador Resort offers comfortably beach accommodations for up to six guests. This two-bedroom condo features an open floor plan and overlooks the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. You’ll enjoy two comfortable bedrooms and all the comforts of home during your stay. Be sure to take advantage of the full kitchen, perfect for preparing your favorite meals or snacks to take to the beach with you. During your stay at El Matador you will also enjoy a beachfront community pool and complimentary beach chair to use.

The beach partly obstructed view and was filled with vegetation( couldn’t fish) otherwise a pleasant stay also wish I knew there was a gym onsite

Great place! I would stay again. Clean, and has everything you need for a great beach stay. All the extras needed in condo such as fans, beach chairs, cooler, wagon. Responsive and ensured nothing was wrong with our stay.

My family of 6 enjoyed our stay. Clean, close to laundry, elevators. Great view of the ocean and pool. Comfortable beds. Host was very attentive. Pool was clean and cool. Short distance from boardwalk to ocean. Beach was quiet and seemed like we had it to ourselves with the dunes right next to us. Such a beautiful view.

Wonderful stay

Our family of five absolutely loved our stay at this condo. The unit was beautiful- so clean and well maintained and it had everything we needed, plus more. The condo building was very nice too and we loved its quiet location at the end of the island. The beach was not too busy and of course just gorgeous. You really can't beat the gulf side, with its sandy white beach and blue water. We also enjoyed the pools at the condo, especially the heated one as we had some cooler days. The owner went above and beyond to communicate with us and was so kind and gracious. My family agrees that this is our new favorite vacation rental, and we hope to return!

Family Tradition

We love staying in this unit! Laundry and elevator are located steps away for convenience. The balcony has a great view of the pool/ocean and the unit is plenty large for my family of five. The owner is always quick to respond and checks in with us at the beginning and end of our stay which I greatly appreciate.

Family Getaway

The condo was perfect for our family! The kitchen had everything we needed. The extra room was perfect for our children and there was tons of storage space. We loved being able to see the beach and main pool from the balcony. The owner is super quick to respond and extremely nice. We plan to rebook this unit each year for our family vacation.

Loved our visit!

The condo was lovely and just as described. Plenty of space for our family and such wonderful views from front and back! Beds were comfy and everything was clean and ready for us. We love Okaloosa and feel like El Matador is a bit of a hidden gem - one of our favorites!

Perfect location and owner is amazing!

We always try to stay at El Matador because we fell in love with it years ago but I must say this was the best unit we have stayed in so far! Owner is super nice and quick to respond. She goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect! Also the unit had so many things we needed already! Usually we have to make trips to the store for so many different things not kept for our use(can opener pizza pan etc) Location of unit on the property was perfect! The balcony was on the inside and closer to the water than we are use to so we could see the beach easily and the main pool. Which was nice because we had teenage boys so we were able to watch without staying down there. We will definitely be staying here again!

The perfect beach

The property was excellent with breathtaking views from the beach and balcony. The kitchen was fully loaded for our needs and the pools provided an amazing recreational experience. Beach access was a 5-minute walk with the elevator ride. The water was outstanding with big waves present near the end of our trip. We wished we could stay longer.

Beautiful unit

El Matador is in a perfect location if you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing vacation. Beautiful, clean, fine, white sand and gorgeous turquoise water! The unit we were in was gorgeous. The kitchen was fully stocked with lots of extras. Plenty of extra towels, blankets and pillows. Our family had a great time and will be back again!
