One driveway parking spot on alley means no searching for a parking spot.

Condo is one block from most everything.
Coronado is a special place and "House of Bells" is right in the middle of the best it has to offer. Walk / bike around this enchanted island for a very relaxing vacation.

Perfect Place to Stay in Coronado

This place was absolutely perfect! The home was outfitted with everything you could need or want. The location was so close to restaurants and all the action the village has to offer. Our hosts Sue & Bob were wonderful. We will definitely be back!

Great location

Lovely, clean remodeled property close to everything! We are looking forward to staying again in the future. Check in process was seamless and we were provided with all information in a timely manor. Townhome is in a very, nice quiet complex.

Excellent Condo in Coronado

An ideal location in the centre of Coronado. Everything is within walking distance. The Condo was extremely well equipped with all household needs. The host responded quickly throughout the process from booking to leaving. We would certainly return to this property.

Great rebtal

This property has a great location and is clean just as was explained in brochure. Quiet neighborhood and convenient to everything. We have been coming to Coronado for 50 years usually staying in an apartment but would rather rent this house again anytime. A clear choice.

We had the pleasure of returning to this lovely property for a second stay. It was just as clean, spacious and comfortable as we remembered. We enjoyed every minute of our visit. Coronado is magical and to have a cozy, quiet retreat in the heart of the village with a guaranteed parking spot is fantastic. The home is well-appointed with ample stores of linens as well as kitchen and bath items. We are looking forward to hopefully returning for a 3rd visit.

Superb location on a terrific island!

From planning to checkout, we were delighted by our stay and so appreciated our hosts, Bob & Sue. They couldn't have made things easier. The unit was clean and bright, the patio superb, and the location couldn't be beat. Though we were out and about and enjoyed the wider region, we could have parked just once and spent the month happily "hoofing it!" We recommend the House of Bells and hope to be guests there again.

Perfection in Coronado

Our stay at the House of Bells condo was fabulous from start to finish. The unit was very clean, bright , organized, and spacious,. The bedrooms and baths very comfortable and practical. The kitchen was well stocked for any cooking needs, the walled courtyard was a great private place to relax in the sun and listen to the birds. All this, together with friendly neighbors , prime location near everything, and our helpful and responsive hosts, made our time in Coronado the best we could have hoped for, we absolutely loved staying here! Thank you Susan and Bob!

Pure Paradise

From check in to check out, we couldn’t have had a better stay. Bob and Sue were wonderful hosts, who know exactly how to welcome guests! Every detail has been thought of. The condo was very well furnished, kitchen and baths fully stocked, beach gear and bikes came handy! Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. The condo is perfectly situated near Orange Ave, yet not too close. We walked to restaurants, the beach, and the ferry landing. Everything we needed/wanted was approximately a mile or less away. Truly, the perfect location. We can’t wait to come back!

Perfect location-literally steps from the center of Coronado and yet it is a remarkably quiet location. Walkability to the beach, restaurants & businesses, church's, The Hotel Del is a 10/10. Convenient parking is a provided bonus. The unit itself is very clean and spacious with plenty of great closet space and a very well equipped, user-friendly kitchen. There are two full bathrooms with plenty of linens on hand,3 TV's for when we were not out and about exploring, a lovely outdoor, totally private, substantial space for grilling, dining or just enjoying the perfect weather-we could not have asked for more. The home itself is extremely comfortable and uncluttered and we appreciated how the owners took such great consideration into providing for every need.. We loved it and can't wait to re-book

PERFECT Coronado getaway!!

The House of Bells is a FABULOUS property! From the moment we started communication with the hosts, our experience was excellent. The property is located within walking distance to everything in the Village: restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques and shopping. Getting around was mostly done on foot. The property was very clean and comfortable with a lot of windows and natural light. There were plenty of linens, beach and bath towels, blankets and pillows. It was wonderful to have a full size washer and drier in the unit as well as 2 bikes to pedal around town on and beach chairs and an umbrella. We enjoyed barbequing and playing cards on the beautiful and private back patio with family. Our experience couldn't have been any better and we will definitely be coming back to The House of Bells in the future.

House of Bells in Perfect Location

Spent the entire month of July in the property. It was comfortable, well stocked, clean, and perfectly located near the Del Hotel, shopping & restaurants. Everything we needed was within easy walking distance, even the 1.2 miles to the other end to visit the Landing area or take the Ferry to S.D. The condo is on 1st floor of a 2-story four-plex, so it was quiet and easily accessible. The patio was great. We had a couple of very small glitches the first couple of days, but the property owners are very responsive and willing to solve issues quickly. I would suggest a few pieces of furniture be updated. I reviewed our stay with Sue Taylor upon leaving and she was extremely receptive to my thoughts. We had a delightful time at The House of Bells and hope to have an opportunity to visit again. Thanks to Bob and Sue for being generous hosts in opening up their home for others to enjoy.

Outstanding!

My wife and I had a great stay at this property In March 2022. The location is great - we took many walks around the beautiful neighborhoods, and the Orange Avenue restaurants/shops (as well as the beach) were short walks. The patio is every bit as lovely as the pictures show. On nice afternoons we enjoyed walking to the Clayton's Mexican take-out establishment just around the corner and enjoy tacos on the patio. The property has helpful stickers throughout so you know which way to slide a shower door, or turn a lock, or whatever. It has clear directions and also we appreciated the first aid kit (which we didn't need, thankfully!) and various amenities which made our stay nicer. Also, we really appreciated having a keypad entry/lock system. It is so liberating not to haul a key around with you as you go out for a walk. Finally, we needed some accommodations during the check-in process, and Bob and Sue could not have been more accommodating. This was a great place to stay and we hope to return!

Comfortable vacation house in a great location - heart of the Village

The unit is as pictured. The patio space and the location are the wow/factors. The house meets the primary requirement, a safe, clean environment with comfortable beds. An older building, nicely updated with modern touches. Bright and airy. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, many extra touches such as a grocery cart, as Von's is only a block away. The house has a welcoming home feel, as opposed to a sterile rental. About the location---so centrally located for all Coronado has to offer More than 5 restaurants and coffee spots within 250 yrds Easy stroll to The Del or the beach. Friends and family who visited all enjoyed the ease of getting early morning coffee, walks around the island, the library, the park, the playhouse. We only used the car to go off-island. We are frequent visitors to Coronado, and this location is hard to beat. The hosts were easy to communicate with. We look forward to returning.

We recently acquired this condominium in Coronado where we lived in the 1990's and where our daughter, husband and 6 boys now live. We enjoy biking and walking around Coronado when we are here and visiting our 3 children and their families in Coronado, Denver and Rochester, NY.

This property is a great stay due to its central location in Coronado, close to everything and the large private patio is great for enjoying Coronado sunshine.

Coronado offers a great beach with gentle surf and a charming village with a small town feel. No trip to Coronado would be complete without a visit to the Hotel del Coronado. Built in 1888 and designated a National Historic Landmark, the hotel has a fascinating and colorful past which includes royalty, politicians, scandals, ghosts and celebrities. It's also widely believed to have been the inspiration for the Emerald City in L. Frank Baum's Wizard of Oz. Spend the day relaxing on the beach or rent a bike and out the Island via Coronado's beachfront boardwalk. Take a stroll down Orange Avenue, Coronado's main street, which is lined with shops, restaurants, galleries, theaters and the Coronado Museum of History & Art. At the other end of the island, Coronado's Ferry Landing offers a collection of over 20 shops, art galleries and restaurants boasting stunning views of San Diego's downtown skyline
