Kentucky Lake Get-Away - The Guest House at Sugar Magnolia Farms

The guest house sits near the entrance of Sugar Magnolia Farms and is used by family and friends who vacation at Kentucky Lake. Within walking distance of Kentucky Lake and Belews, this gem has been remodeled from top to bottom. New appliances, flooring and two decks for grillin' and chillin'.

Our guest house is the perfect place for family get-aways from spring through fall and a fisherman's oasis in the winter. Designed and updated for families with children, there are four bedrooms - bedroom 1 with bunk beds and bedrooms 2-4 with queen size beds. The master bedroom has a sitting area and a large bathroom, complete with a separate tub and shower.

Summer boaters and sportsmen alike will enjoy the proximity to Kentucky Lake and public boat ramps. The property is minutes from Kenlake and Jonathan Creek public boat ramps. Walking distance to Baits & More and a short drive to Fast Eddie's for all your sporting needs.

Wonderful place to stay

Very nice host. This is a nice house. Plenty of room for several vehicles. House is clean. Very big rooms. Beds are very comfy.

3rd annual KY lake vaca

The place was great for those going for a nice trip with plenty of room for activities and at night it is quiet for a peaceful evening. Really close to kenlake marina for those going on the water.

Fishing and Boating Trip

We enjoyed the property and the convenience of the location to Kent Lake State Park and Marina. We enjoyed the fire pit and decks. The rooms are spacious. We would definitely stay here again.

Youth Hunt Weekend at LBL

Was a great visit , no issues with check in and location was just right for us . The unit was clean and plenty of room for us all , was there for Youth Hunt Weekend at LBL. We only wished we had more time to enjoy it more and use the camp fire area.

Spacious

The house was spacious with plenty of room for everyone to relax, spread out, get comfy and enjoy themselves. We had 6 in our group and didn't feel like we were cramped at all. The beds were very comfortable, the house was clean and the owner quickly responds to all questions and messages sent. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay here again. Would recommend this listing to anyone wanting to go to this area.

Clean and easy

The house was great- clean, bug free, spacious and well located. It was equally distant from the public beach (Moss Creek) and from the family fun centers. The communication with the owners was great. Very fast, friendly and helpful both before and during our trip. The kids loved the house too and want to go back to the exact place next year. Thanks for making our vacation comfortable and enjoyable!

Spacious, Family Friendly

The house is very spacious, super clean and had everything we need, but a can opener! The hosts are quick to respond and friendly. Super clean and it was nice to have fans in each room. We hoped to use the fire pit, but it was too hot during our stay. Had everything we needed and a packet of ideas on places to eat which was also helpful!

Excellent facility.

Could use a touch more gravel when pulling into drive for boat trailers. Vehicle without a trailer is fine. Possibly another outside electrical outlet. Other than that it was perfect.

Clean Home/Convenient Location

This property was exactly as advertised and described in other reviews. The home has an open floor plan with bedrooms on either end of the house. The kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked with necessities. The wi-fi was great, even with several devices connected. There is a grill on the back porch and a fire pit in the front yard, but we didn't get around to using either. There is ample parking in the driveway for at least 4 boats and trucks. There is also access to receptacles for charging boat batteries. The neighborhood was very quiet and relaxing. The house is just a few miles from several different boat ramps. I would definitely recommend this property to others!

Nice place with plenty of room for a large group. We had 9 in our group and had plenty of room. Would have liked to have a few more kitchen amenities and it could have been a little cleaner.

Visiting family

Upon our arrival , Paul had already contacted us and given us his phone number. The property was very clean and open. We love the farmhouse decorations. The mattress were brand new and everything felt new and fresh. We have a foster child and we were very thankful for bunk beds. The home sits on a beautiful piece of property. We hope our next visit to be able to use the fire pit. So thankful for our lil 2 night adventure and a “homey” place to stay.

Welcome to the Guest House at Sugar Magnolia Farms. We acquired this property in 2021 along with the farm just up hill. Our goal was to be closer to family and create a fun and enjoyable place for them to visit. We are also sharing our dream with you!

The guest house sits near the entrance to Sugar Magnolia Farms, named after our golden retriever who is no longer with us. She was always a gracious host and loved kids. The guest house is primarily used by our family and friends who vacation on Kentucky Lake. Within walking distance of Kentucky Lake and Belews, this gem has been remodeled from top to bottom. New appliances, flooring and two decks for grillin' and chillin' are just a few recent additions.

The kitchen is fully equipped for your stay! You will find pots, pans, dishes, utensils and more in the cabinets. We also have a coffee bar for your convenience that can brew pots of 'joe or just a k-cup!
