NEWER, LUXURY, Solid LOG CABIN on Secluded 10 ACRES in Northern AZ

Located in Blue Ridge/Happy Jack, AZ - just 2 hours northeast of Scottsdale. Enjoy serious climate relief at approx. 7,000 ft elevation. Tall pines and oak trees adorn this nearly 10 acre property. Gorgeous forest lakes just minutes away offering great fishing, boating and swimming. Loads of wildlife to be seen and heard. The 3,000 sq ft cabin was completed in 2012 and is constructed of solid logs. There are 3 King bedrooms and 2 full baths on the ground floor, plus large loft with 2 sofa beds, full bath, and balcony upstairs. The master suite has vaulted ceilings, comfortable king-size bed, walk-in closet and spacious bath with dual sinks, spa tub and glass-enclosed shower. The floors are all solid oak except for the bathrooms which are slate to match the shower/tub surrounds. Kitchen and bath countertops are all slab granite. The kitchen is a chef's dream featuring huge island with farm sink; commercial grade 6-burner gas range; stainless steel dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator/freezer; and 2 breakfast bars. There is a/c, plus ceiling fans throughout. In the winter there is heat + efficient fireplace. Starlink is available for your Wi-Fi and the Smart TVs. On the large, covered deck is an over-sized stainless steel propane grill + plenty of seating for relaxing. This cabin has everything you'll need, and then some - including Belgian waffle maker and Keurig coffee/tea system. Sleeps 6-8. The home has been meticulously maintained as a VRBO for several years with many many 5 star reviews.

This cabin was absolutely perfect, and so well-equipped for our needs! We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving week with our grown children in the woods. It gave us peace, quiet, beautiful scenery, and amazing together time.

Magnificent End of Year stay!

We had a wonderful, peaceful, and fun few days staying at this beautiful cabin.We spent the week playing games, cooking, grilling, and exploring the area. The cabin had everything we could possibly need to stay comfortable and entertained. Also, despite the cold weather, the inside of the cabin was always warm and cozy. The property is secluded and far from other cabins. We did not hear any noise at all. The night provides an incredible view of the sky and stars.There is plenty of wildlife roaming around the property. We saw deer, squirrels, rabbits, and some very colorful birds. We also appreciated how clean the cabin was.This place made our End of Year a perfect experience, and we hope to return one day. Thank you Lynn and John.

Very well appointed cabin!

Beautiful property and surrounding area, cabin is just stunning and has one of the most well stocked kitchen of any rental we’ve used. We were looking for a place we could stay in without having to go out very much and planned on cooking all meals at the cabin. The kitchen was a chefs dream and had everything we needed. Ample room for spreading out or all hanging out together in the living room. Outdoor spaces had plenty of seating configurations and we definitely used the whole space. John and Lynn were very responsive and when the smoke detector battery started alerting John was helpful in giving us access to the equipment we needed to make sure it was resolved which we appreciated. Would stay again for sure!

Relaxing Getaway!

We loved our time at this ‘cabin.’ Everything you need. Clean. Our toddlers and our dogs absolutely loved exploring the property. The adults loved the peace and quiet of the surroundings. We saw zero other people during our stay and could barely see the rooftops of neighbors. We saw elk every morning. We heard coyotes at night. We enjoyed our meals together at night around the giant kitchen table. The only time we left was to check out East Clear Creek which is a quick, pretty drive from the cabin. We hope to make a return trip soon!!

WOWED!

Stargazer cabin is a beautifully constructed log cabin on large property for which our dogs enjoyed immensely! We truly did feel alone and away from it all for a much needed getaway. The cabin is very roomy, well appointed and immaculately clean. The kitchen has everything you might need and then some, and so much fun cooking on a commercial range. Snow fell the four days we visited so the toasty warm fireplace got plenty of use. A favorite spot was the loft with lots of bright sunlight coming through lots of windows. A perfect spot to read a book and watch the snow fall. The photos represent the property well. Owners, Lynn & John were attentive and easy to communicate with. They even left a brand new dog bed and bowl which was a nice touch. We will definitely be returning to Stargazer Cabin!

Stargazer Cabin

Beautiful secluded cabin in Northern AZ. The cabin was very nice and was comfortable for our adult family of 5. It was secluded, peaceful & relaxing. We had a nice snowfall and awoke to a winter wonderland. We didn't see the elk but each day we were hoping they would stroll through. The property was 10 acres and nice for morning or evening walks. It was enough space in which you couldn't see neighboring cabins. The bedrooms were roomy & beds were comfortable, but the upper loft sleeper sofa could use a better mattress or memory foam. Little ones may be ok, but not adults. The fireplace was wonderful - you must bring your own wood which may be difficult for some to do. The closest local store is 13 miles away. We do not have Verizon so we had no wifi ,which, for our stay was fine, but could be problematic for others. The kitchen has just about everything you need for cooking meals. Great 6 burner stove. Bring your own personal items-shampoo,etc. We did day trips to Sedona & Snowbowl which were about 1 to 1 1/2 hrs away. Great getaway - thank you Lynn and John!

Filthy unwelcoming fort with extra charges looming.

After booking we got a contract full of potential extra fees, I signed as we’ve stayed in dozens of VRBO’s issue free. We arrived to a chain across the driveway and thought “this can’t be it”, someone forgot we were coming? It was the right place though! Upon entrance the place was filthy! Cob webs all over! Dead and alive spiders, bees and other bugs littered the bathtub, we had a crickets signing us to sleep every night ~ spray for bugs!!! My in-laws came by with their dog to bring us supplies and visit, 10 mins later i get an email from owner on app. I have a $75 charge for a pet and extra visitors. “The owners were watching us on their cameras” ( very un-comforting) I paid it and told my in-laws to stay even though they live down the road in Pine, why not I paid for their company. The place itself is “ok” by no means is it LUXURY! We’ve stayed all over the world in top rated VRBO and I rate this one of the worst of our luxury stays. Not to mention you’re 30 miles from any groceries ( remember in-laws) or anything to buy supplies. We tried using the washer and dryer, but that’s by “special request” whatever that means, more money I’m sure. I’d suggest the owners travel using VRBO to see what the experience is supposed to be like. Suggestions ~ Remove chain, spray for bugs, deep deep clean, wash all bedding, not just sheets. Leave the guests alone…. In the end we had a great time and made the best of it. We had lots of laughs over the “Others” watching us! We took family photos in front of their camera 😁

Christmas Cabin Getaway

We all loved the cabin and property! Had local elk and deer on the property. There was about 6" of snow on the property and it was what we wanted to see and play in. Gourmet kitchen was where we hung out. We would highly recommend this property.

Family Get Away

We had a family of 7 with plenty of room all around. Cabin great location, very clean, stocked well with pleanty of cookware, dishes, towels etc. Would stay here again. Highly recommended. Thank you, The Ferguson Family

Excellent escape to private cabin

We very much enjoyed a week+ stay. We appreciate the hosts’ thoughtful supply of amenities and extras. We didn’t have to run out to a store even once to get anything. The added benefit is the 10 acre lot giving us such privacy. You can’t see or hear any neighbors. Sitting on the covered deck is so relaxing, even when raining. This is a great forest for off-road trail riding. And there is plenty of parking here for trucks, trailers and UTVs. FYI our AT&T voice and LTE data worked reliably.

Beautiful high End Cabin in amazing location

What an amazing property. Peaceful and quiet and you would not think anyone else was around for miles. Herd of elk visited nearly every morning and we could watch from the kitchen. Cabin was stocked with everything you need. Thank you and we hope to come back soon.
