600 sq. ft. custom built cabin, 1 bedroom with sleeping loft; sleeps 6. Full kitchen with dishwasher and a utility room with laundry. Comfortable living room with cable TV & wi-fi. Great covered porch w/ swing overlooking pine & oak forest.
Private fire pit area w/ Adirondack chairs. Shared children play area w/ badminton/volleyball net. Fenced 3+ acre property backs up to national forest w/ hiking trails. Close to creeks & Blue Ridge reservoir. There is a discount offered on stays longer then 3 days, each additional day stayed is just $100.

Very nice. Weak wifi but manageable using my phone's hot spot. Two commodes was a plus. The weather was poor so we were not able to take advantage of the nice outdoor area. Would rent again.

Owners were very nice and welcoming and even left fresh baked cookies on table for when we arrived. The cabin is very cute and comfortable. Love that there is lots of different things the kids can do on property we didn’t get to take advantage of all because it was raining a lot when we were there. The cabin is nestled in the back of the neighbor hood so very quiet away from main roads. Would highly recommend to family and friends.

The place is soooo cute, it was easy to find, and my kids loved playing outside here. Beds were super comfortable & we all slept great. They had some board/card games we were able to play in the evening together and another night we watched a movie. My boys gave it a 10/10 and teens are hard to impress!

Just what I needed, and more!

I was looking for a quiet, get-away-from-it-all location for the weekend. I did not know I would also get a home beyond my expectations! Hosts Linda and Leon are kind and responsive. Outside: nice grill, gorgeous deck, privacy, well-desgined and well-built home with guests in mind. East Clear Creek is close and a beautiful place to visit with hiking trails and a ranger station lookout tower! Thank you for the wonderful stay. I'll be back!

Kayaking trip

One of the best spots up in Northern AZ! Owners have done so many little extra touches..... Volleyball and basketball areas, shaded hammocks, fire pit, bbq, childrens play area, it just makes it an awesome place to hang out for all ages.

Wedding weekend away

We had a wedding to attend close by and we found this gem of a place! So worth the drive from NE Mesa too the beautiful pines. Quiet and peaceful! The hosts are just so lovely! Heaters were on when we arrived! Cafe lights and fire place was on and a little plate of chocolate chip cookies! Everything was so clean and cozy! We enjoyed every minute! We didn’t want to leave! We will definitely be back!

Relax at The Haven

Wife and I had a great stay here. Super cozy and comfortable. We loved how the bedroom area was separate from the kitchen and living room. Very peaceful and relaxing!

The coziest getaway

Linda and Leon have such a gem in the Forrest. They keep it immaculate, and have all the amenities you could need. Me and my husband plus two kids really enjoyed how much there was to do outdoors. BBQ, firepit, playground, basketball court, and the list goes on. Definitely a great stay for those with kids. Inside was so cozy and our daughter loved the loft bed. The WiFi did not work and we had no cell signal which we were not as prepared for but it actually turned out perfect to be totally ‘unplugged’ for the weekend. Thank you for sharing such a sweet spot.

Great Forest Getaway

The cabin and surrounding property were perfect for our weekend getaway out of the Phoenix heat. Owners were easy to communicate with. Loved the outdoor covered deck and the fire pit area.

Super cute cabin

The cabin was very roomy and felt much bigger than it was. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. My kids had fun on the grounds playing on the equipment and sleeping in the loft!

Our guest house was built from trees we cut on our property which we milled on our saw mill.
We offer a discount price for each day you stay greater then 3 day. Each day stayed greater then the 3 is $100.
Our 7 day and 28 day stay are also discounted at 20% ( $800 for a 7day stay & $3200 for a month stay). So when you book a stay longer then 2 days the discount rate will be applied as a discount.
