Right ON the beach, not "beach view" or "short walk." Here, if you're on the beach and need a bathroom break, you will make it:) Every room has its own private bath. No wandering the hall in a towel infront of family and friends only to find someone else is in the shared bathroom. Elevator gos to each floor, not just the main. Beach is private so no cars rolling up for parties, but if you want a party, just walk up the beach to the public beach and the awesome Tipsy Turtle bar and Grill.

Perfect family vacation! Loved the large bedrooms and bathroom!The decks were large with multiple chairs on each floor! Kitchen was well stocked with Dishes and Pots and pans. The beach view was incredible it was like having your own private beachfront. Lots of toys for kids even bikes

This property was so well appointed and maintained. There were 10 of us, from infants to seniors and we had plenty of space. It is located close to town for errands and RIGHT ON THE BEACH! We spent much time on the deck overlooking the ocean, enjoying the sea breeze. The deck is also very safe for little children as the bottom is glassed in.There are erosion problems with all the properties that close to the water, so had to watch your step getting to the sand but so convenient, especially with our babies.The host was amazingly attentive, responsive and over-the-top accommodating from reservation through checkout and beyond. He even tried to help me figure out if I left something after checkout! I highly recommend this property. The pictures do not do it justice! I hope to get this rental every year for my family.

Great Spot

Right on the water, clean house with plenty of bedding. Good beds and bathrooms. Walk down to the bar if you want. Makes life easy. Host was great.

Amazing location, right on the beach! This was our third time staying here and we love it. The house is laid out so well that family was able to come visit and it never felt cramped. Can’t wait to rent again!

We had a great stay! The house was clean, spacious, and perfectly located for easy beach access. Plenty of room for our group to spread out, and the host was responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Best place to stay in Galveston!

Beautiful home. We have stayed at this home many times with no problems. It is always clean and owner is very nice.

An Amazing Stay!!

This property is awesome! EVERYTHING you would need it here. Fully stocked kitchen, BBQ tools, towels, linens, soaps/shampoo/conditioner, and two fridges. The BBQ grill (Americana Walk-A-Bout Portable Grill w/332 sq inches of cooking space) is charcoal (not provided) and may take a bit longer to BBQ for a larger group. "Bunk Room" sleeps 16 comfortably and all beds are comfortable! Few recommendations if you stay - bunk room can hear all walking from above (closet has multiple fans in it to help mask the noise from above), pack small fan for bunk room bathroom as it's shared by many and it helps, most bathrooms don't have vent fans and will require you to pack room spray, and floor on ground level patio gets slick with humidity (just walk careful). The elevator is so great, for not only unloading all your things, but for anyone who can't do stairs. This opens up the opportunity for everyone to enjoy this house. The beach is so close & private! It's a bit steep while exiting the patio to walk to the beach, however we did find the two "stairs" to the right of the patio (on our last day) that made it so much easier to get to the sand. I would (and want to) stay here again!! Mark is awesome and answers all inquires quickly.

Beautiful beachfront home perfect for a family vacation

This was a beautiful home well maintained on the beachfront near Jamaica beach. The home has been recently renovated, is clean and comfortable with great views. All bedrooms step out to a balcony and you can see the ocean from any floor. The kitchen was well outfitted and had all utensils to cook for a large group or family. Everyone who came to visit while we were there loved the house and we will certainly explore options to rent again. While we were there, the host responded quickly to whatever questions we had and even got back to us when there was an issue with the lift and we could not address it ourselves. He called the property management company and they responded on a Sunday before the Memorial holiday. Impressive customer service. I am very happy to leave this customer review and looking forward to revisiting again soon!

Galveston 2024

Beautiful house with plenty of space overall. The kitchen is very large and VERY well stocked with dishes, pots/pans and utensils. The two refrigerators were a plus. Private bathroom for each bedroom was great. Wonderful views from all the windows facing beach. Enjoyed watching a thunderstorm roll in one night. Our only issue was that the beach access from the house was not as shown in the pictures. Had to rent a golf cart to get elderly folks to the beach.

Second stay - best spot in Galveston

This was our second stay here. You won’t find better people to rent from. You can’t beat the location. The beach was quiet. The house has amazing views, right on the water. The house is huge. We love the new (from our last visit) bunk beds. It was clean and has room for everyone. We had bad luck with weather this trip. Two big storms so we were stuck inside the entire time. They have lots of games and puzzles. We had a great family vacation even if the weather wasn’t favorable.

Perfect House!

We rent a house at least once a year, all over the United States. Because of covid, we’ve went to Galveston two years in a row so we don’t have to fly. Last year, I rented a brand new home but had a horrible experience. This year, I went with this house because the reviews said Mark was so helpful. The reviews were not wrong. He responded quickly any time I sent a message. The house is older but it’s been updated. The elevator made taking luggage in so much easier. We were not a fan of the mattresses and sheets but everything else made up for it. I was really worried that I missed something that I was supposed to do when leaving because I didn’t get the Info sheet from Mark until I was on the road down to Galveston… and then forgot to read it while there. So I was panicking, trying to get car loaded, get everything picked up and organize all of the people, I really worried I missed something. When I got home, I read what he sent me and there wasn’t much he asked me to do so hopefully all was good when we left. The washer and dryer were great! I was confused with the layout before we went. I wasn’t sure where all of the rooms were. Rooms are all very large. Second floor entry, three bedrooms (all with bathrooms - 1 has 4 beds, the other two have king beds) and the laundry room is on this floor. Third floor is the living space (huge kitchen, dining, lots of tables, lots of sofa space). The main bedroom/huge bathroom is up there too. There is a half bath, as well. We wish there were blinds in the living space because that sun is very bright and warms the upstairs up fast (but I understand why there aren’t blinds). You can not beat the location! The beach was quiet. Last year we went the week after Christmas and Galveston was so busy. We couldn’t get I to restaurants and shopping was crazy. This year, we went the week before Christmas. Everything was quiet. We got to go to all of the restaurants that we wanted to try. It was the perfect.

Perfect experience!

Mark was an outstanding host!! We had a dream vacation with his property. You can't beat the location or hospitality. The set up is perfect for a family vacation. The numerous bathrooms made it easy to share with multiple families. The master bath soaker tub made us want to redo our with how amazing it was. Stay here, you will be so happy you did!!

Beautiful House with amazing Location

This House was perfect for our beach Family get together. Being right on the beach was perfect for watching the kiddos play. Nice big kitchen with so much prep space. Tons of seating everywhere. Everything you could want to watch on TV also. Lot's of parking space for everyone. Huge deck for sun bathing. Every room has a bathroom. I would recommend bringing some beach towels and chairs with you.

Easter weekend

We had a great time! Very clean and excellent location on the beach. The no drive on beach was wonderful. Bring your own beach towels and shower soaps, shampoo.

Awesome home

Our stay started with excellent communication from the owner proceeding to the most ideal location literally on the beach and close to town in a beautiful home well furnished and equipped that more than met our needs. We will gladly come back as there was so much to do and enjoy both in the home and the Galveston area we just needed more time! Really appreciate the owner his communications and going over and beyond to make her stay better than we could have expected! Thanks Mark👍
