We loved the pool and the location to the amenities was just a short walk down the path behind the house. We would definitely stay here again!

Family vacation

We enjoyed ourselves. We took the grandkids to Seaworld one day. The next days we stayed at the house and enjoyed the pool and Lazy river.

Perfect for family of 5 plus room to spare

Checking in, getting in were quickest in my 14 years of parenthood. Townhouse was immense for our family of 5 and easily had room for a multigenerational travel party. 2 Master bedrooms and 2 double twin bedrooms. I cannot recommend it enough.

Great Unit

This was perfect for us and kids loved the pool. Family of 5 stayed. Very clean and bed was super comfortable. Stayed over spring break. Close access to large pool, lazy river, and slides. Only criticism was on storey lake pool which over crowded at all times. Very slow bar/food service. Also, couldn’t bring anything to drink from outside into pool area. Would stay in this unit again though.

AC problems

We arrived at check in time of 4pm. Short story is that our unit was 84 degrees, I had to insist that someone come out. They came at 9:30pm but only after prompting us with videos and calls for us to try and reprogram the thermostat ourselves. Lots of back and forth calls with 30 min wait periods in between and complete frustration from not being given accurate prompts. At 10:45pm it was cooled to 79. I’d say about 3am it reached sleeping temperature and we had to wake at 5am. They credited us $58.37 for the inconvenience after much persistence. I don’t know about you but a good night’s sleep and being able to relax instead of playing repairman is worth more than $58.

Great location and clean property, could use perks

This was our second time staying in Storey Lake, last time was on the same street but further away so we liked this location better. The other property was privately owned, so that one had more throughtful decor and extra kitchen equipment, pool toys, lounge furniture, and one huge perk - pool towels. Having to pack pool towels last minute was a little annoying. This one was clean, but just very spare as others noted and even some things like lightbulbs were out, and the dining table had a few chairs that had fabric that had been warped from moisture I guess. Towels were rough and sheets were nubby, but I guess thats just a case of you get what you pay for. The day we arrived the pool had a slightly green tint and by the second day it was very green. The hosts sent out the pool company to fix it the next day, so that was good. I guess it would have also been good customer service to credit us maybe the pool heating that day but sadly great customer service is hard to find these days. Overall it was a decent property but we'd probably try another one next time. Storey Lake is great though, if you have younger kids definitely try out the new pool that just opened this year.

Easy to get everywhere

This is a great place to stay, with plenty of room for our family and the amenities we needed for a week at Disney. Tip: use the Osceola Parkway to get to and from all the parks (there's no toll, even though Google Maps shows a toll on the road). Even though you're a bit farther than some of the other developments, you get there much faster since you can avoid I-4 and 192 entirely. The house has the basics to prepare meals, and the kitchen adn dining area easily seat 10 people. The beds were comfortable and the showers and bathrooms were all clean and nice. Check-in, Check-out and communication was all immediate (and done through the VRBO app) and everything went smoothly during our stay. We've stayed at Storey Lake at least three times, and this is a great location with many different home sizes depending on your group.

Great location!!

We had a great stay at this property. Central location to all the parks in the area so not a lot of driving. There is a Publix right up the street so getting food was easy. Place was clean with comfortable beds. The amenities at the clubhouse pool were very easy to walk to. My only complaint would be there is next to nothing for cooking or eating. Only 5 forks and spoons available to use and no working can opener. Some stuff just needs to be replenished but overall I would stay again! Thanks again!

Great place!

Property management was great. Place was a breeze to get to all the parks and not have to be on the freeway. Main pool area was nice and heated pool at the place was nice. Thanks for everything!

Overall great stay

Location for Disney is perfect! Very quick walk to the lazy river, pool and club house. Our boys loved the basketball court and then quick jump in the lazy river! We will definitely stay at this property again. Property manager very responsive. The only thing I would have changed is adding of a skimmer to use for the small pool at the condo. Thank you.

Amazing time

We had an amazing time at this property. The communication was better than any place we have ever stayed. If we ever had an issue or a question it was answered pretty much immediately. We had an issue with the hot tub warming up but that wasn’t a big deal, they dealt with it as quickly as possible. Overall very pleased and we will definitely be back!
