Great Location, spacious home, nicely decorated and host response was quick. I would recommend Staying at this home in Story Lake My only suggestion is Outdoor screen pool area could use a little more attention (clean)and outdoor furniture has seen its better days

The Best Place to be

This place was truly amazing!!!! Everything was easy to access, the area was great, and the host was very nice and helpful. Everyone said that we need to save this place for next year because we had such a great time being here.

Nice stay

The overall property showed as the pictures. The house seemed a little dated inside but was good enough for the night we were in Orlando. Communication with the host was very easily and he was very nice and helpful upon request. Blow dryer in the bathroom wasn’t working but not sure it that was a temporary issue. My family had no complaints and it was a nice stay.

It’s a great location, the unit had plenty of room, was clean and well appointed. My only grievance was the security gates were very difficult and often did not work.

Clean and Comfortable Place

This property was easy to access and accommodated all of our needs. It was clean and spacious for all our family. Only 20 minutes from Universal Studios. We definitely would pick this property again.

Spacious, comfortable home.

The home is like a home. With beautiful pictures, very spacious, comfortable beds. Large refrigerator adequate kitchen and supplies also has a washer and dryer. Easy access very comfortable.

Great location and property amenities. Property manager ignored requests for a simple light bulb replacement. Place was roomy and clean. Beds very comfortable in all rooms. Unable to sit outside, furniture worn and dirty. Hopefully replacing soon.

A RARE GEM! Perfect for families!

4 full bathrooms and 5 bedrooms - most places in the area have too few bathrooms for the number of people staying there but this rental was perfect for hosting 2-3 families together! No need to fight over bathroom space here! Townhouse was very clean and spacious. Great location! Less than 20 minutes away from the most popular attractions and outlet malls. On-property amenities including the lazy river and pools were the kids’ favorite.

Wonderful place for a list minute getaway!

Our family loved staying here! We have young children who aren't the strongest of swimmers yet, so the mini pool was amazing! This trip was for business, and it was so nice to have a nice house, full of accommodations, for us to relax and unwind afterwards. The well-stocked kitchen was perfect for a family who does all the cooking. We brought our own spices and a few of our favorite dishes, but this kitchen had plenty even if we hadn't brought our own dishes. The house is spacious, and we loved that it has a washer and dryer. The neighborhood was lovely, and we were able to take a nice walk to enjoy the lake. The house was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. The only downfall, for our family, specifically, was that one of the security guards at the gate said we weren't allowed in the community with our large vehicle. It's a short bus. The owner of the house was incredibly helpful and kind, and went above and beyond to ensure we were able to get through the gate and to the house. This wasn't any fault of the owner's, just something to be aware of if you stay in the community. We absolutely loved our stay, and would definitely stay there again if visiting Orlando.

Dont look any further

I live out of the country and a friend recommended Story Lake Resort as a place to stay. So i found this listing for our party of 9 and it was everything we hope for. The place was clean when we arrived. So much room and places to sleep. It look liked the pictures with no unexpected surprises. The place had everything you needed for a kitchen- we cooked everyday during our stay. The resort itself was beautiful. Highly recommend and would stay again! Also had any questions or concerns the property manager was on it!!

During my stay I found that this home needs some significant improvements. The air vents had rust buildup and required cleaning. There was rust around the shower area as well. One of the sinks had a dirty hole that needed a deep cleaning. The interior was in need of a fresh paint job to update and brighten the space. Additionally, the furniture was outdated and one of the bar chairs was so unstable that one of my family members almost ended up on the floor. The kitchen appliances were not up to date and some dishes were dirty. It would also benefit from having more pots and pans to fully support comfortable cooking. Overall it was a ok stay but with some repairs, updates, and better maintenance, this rental could become a much more appealing home.

We stayed here with a group of eight for two nights and really enjoyed the convenient location — it’s very close to Disney Springs and made getting around super easy. The space was comfortable and fit our group well.There were, however, a few small things missing that would have made our stay even better: there was no toaster in the kitchen, no grab bars in the showers (which could help with safety), a missing TV remote, and one of the bedroom TVs didn’t work.Overall, it’s a great spot in an excellent location — with a few small improvements, it would be perfect!
