Unwind on Cherokee Lake Cabin with Private Dock

Bring your family and friends to enjoy what lake living is all about! The private dock is just steps out the back door, where you can park your boat, swim, fish or just watch the beautiful sunsets! The dock is seasonal and in the water from mid May-mid October. The large picnic table has plenty of room for your whole group to enjoy a meal by the lake. S'mores around the fire pit are a great way to end a lake day!

Our newly remodeled home has 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths and sleeps 8. One room has a king bedroom, two rooms have queen beds and the fourth bedroom is a bunk room with 2 sets of twin bunk beds. The kids will love this space! With living spaces on each floor, there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out or be together!

An open concept kitchen, dining space and living area make it easy for your family & friends to be together with a view of the lake! The outdoor area has everything you need with a spacious wrap around covered porch! Who doesn't want to take a nap on a twin porch swing bed? Watch the birds and fishermen in the morning and then the sunsets at night on the relaxing porch. Lots of sitting space and a dining table provides room for everyone!

Huff's German Creek Marina is right across the lake from the cabin. You can see it from some of the pictures. There is a put in there for your boat. They also have boat rentals from May-October.

An incredibly beautiful property located on a blissful part of Cherokee Lake. We couldn’t have imagined a better stay. We travelled from the UK and will most definitely be back. Our host was amazing with communication. The home has everything you need and more for a fun family stay. Thank you for making our time back in the states so memorable.

2024 Family vacation

We met up with kids from California and kids from Indiana for a long weekend. Enjoyed being right on the lake and the cabin was nice.

Perfect Family Vacation

This property is by far the best vacation home we’ve ever stayed in! The location, cleanliness, amenities & host were amazing! We were 3 generations of family gathering from 3 different states for a relaxing vacation of fun on the lake & that’s exactly what we got! The house is beyond stocked w/ anything you could possibly need, we didn’t even have to unload everything we brought because the home already had it! The home was extremely clean w/ plenty of room for the entire family to have their “own space”. We thoroughly enjoyed the large variety of board games available & movie nights in the large living room upstairs, the game room downstairs, the wrap around porch & the dock was wonderful & large enough for swimming, fishing & parking our pontoon boat! The sunsets were also amazing from the property! The host Julie was extremely pleasant & wonderful to communicate with and there wasn’t one thing our family would change about this home or our trip! Thank you for offering your beautiful home for others to enjoy, we definitely plan to be back! The Settle, Holbrook & Canterbury families

Annual fishing trip

Easy access to lake. Plenry of room for our group. Large concrete area great for playing cornhole in the evenings. Very nice place.

Multi family trip

We had a wonderful time utilizing all the great indoor and outdoor spaces the property has to offer. Days were mostly spent at the lake swimming, fishing, tubing, etc. while evenings were either spent around the campfire or playing games inside or on the spacious covered deck with ample seating. Everyone had a great time and we would not hesitate at all to return again.

Lovely place!

Loved staying here!! Having the dock and flat yard were super nice. Layout of the second floor is so nice - all open lots of space great for a group. Lake wasn’t busy at all. Check out the jumping cliffs - ask at the marina for directions - so fun for the kids (and adults)!

Wonderful property, well stocked and furnished. Awesome front porch, easy walk to the dock. Huff's marina staff were very friendly as well. This lake was beautiful and easy to get to, we had a great stay.

Family fishing reunion

Brothers, cousins, and sons enjoyed a wonderful reunion filled with fishing and making music together. The property was absolutely perfect. The house is spacious with all the amenities, yet has a cozy and inviting feel. The lawn has a fire pit surrounded by tall pines, ending at the lake shore with a large modern boat dock. I couldn't have dreamed of a better property.

In town for fishing tournament

Great view and private lot! Great parking - comfortable beds well stocked kitchen was able to cook every meal!! Only drawback was temperature difference from upper level and lower level - but I was able to work it out.

Absolutely Perfect

Amazing house with beautiful views of the lake and was perfect for a quick spring break getaway. The house is well maintained with many updates. All the basics you need to get settled are provided. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need. The lower level was perfect for the young adults with us. They loved all the games so much we only saw them when they were hungry or to watch a basketball game. The gradual slope down to the lake is easy to navigate and great for carrying stuff back and forth. We did a pickup order from the Walmart Supercenter in Morristown which worked out perfectly. Julie ia an excellent host and easy to communicate with before and after booking. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Place

Annual Fishing Trip

Excellent place to stay. House is really close to the water. My 79 year old uncle has no trouble getting back and forth to the dock. Highly recommend!

Family vacation - 1000 stars!

This home was perfect for our large group! The place was beautiful, clean and well maintained! Right on the lake, the dock was great for fishing and all the kids jumped off into the water to swim right at the dock (we did require life jackets) but the water was very shallow at the bank and you could just walk out as well. Very quiet and peaceful even though there are a few more cabins very close, there is enough privacy. Minor issue with the air the day of check in and within one hour Julie had the maintenance guy there and resolved! Super responsive to us and helpful. There are gorgeous views out huge picture windows. Our multiage group all had a great time and will plan to stay again! Fyi- there are no tvs in the larger bed bedrooms just a heads up, but it didn’t bother us. Large Tv in the living room was a smart tv with YouTube Netflix and Amazon. I think there was also Disney plus on the basement tv. No complaints from us but if you are someone that requires a tv to sleep, just making you aware. We did enjoy a small sound machine in our room which helped with an infant that is used to some noise at night. The kitchen was very well equipped also and supplies were stocked up like toilet paper, propane. I would rate this place 1000 stars!

Our family lives in Knoxville, which is an hour away from Cherokee Lake. We have 3 boys and 2 daughters in laws and we love our family time at the cabin and on the lake! We are able to relax and enjoy all the lake has to offer here! This is our 3rd cabin on the Cherokee Lake. We enjoy renovating and remodeling homes and are working hard to make this cabin a relaxing place to spend with family and friends and make memories!

There are many lakes in this part of Tennessee but we love Cherokee Lake. It is beautiful and calm, which is great for fishing, tubing and swimming. We love how close you are to the lake at this cabin. When you sit on the porch, you can hear the water and there are views of the lake from just about every room in the cabin, which is so relaxing. With the outdoor area just steps from the cabin, it is so convenient to get to the boat, dock, picnic table and fire pit.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The location to Huff's German Creek Marina is great. It is less than a mile away and you can see the marina from the cabin. You can put in your boat there and bring it over to the dock at the cabin. You can also rent a pontoon boat there. The cabin provides privacy since it's at the end of a gravel road.
