Guest Ranch - Amazing Views & Homemade Meals

Welcome to Holt Cattle’s Guest Ranch!

Take some much-needed time away and enjoy the quite nature, views, and big Montana Sky!

It is here that you will experience a view, with no words to describe it.

Our Guest Ranch is the only home in the Flint Creek Valley with this 360-degree view.

You will find yourself on top of a ridge, at the dead end of a private road, inside the gates of our Guest Ranch.

The ranch consists of 98 acers. It is a part time working ranch. Depending on the time of year, you may enjoy cattle grazing the pastures.

Our home is a custom-built home with no corners cut on the design and function, taking full advantage of the views out every window.

Our home is designed well for a large group or just for two. For the two of you enjoy your romantic get-away alone with the crackle of the wood stove, with a walk in the pastures or enjoy the sunset over the Rocky Mountains!

For the large crowd, utilize the full basement, allowing the kids to have their own space unwinding with movies and a large area to enjoy each other. This, giving the adults their own living room and space upstairs.

There are corrals available for your horses.

Bring your snow skis and enjoy Discovery Hill, 50 minutes from our ranch!

Bring your fly fishing poles and fish the famous Flint Creek.

Bring your golf clubs and golf in Georgetown!

Feel free to bring your toys and have an adventure!

* Weddings*
We do allow weddings! The cost for weddings and events is $1,800.00 a day. We do allow camping trailers for $50.00 a day. We do not have septic hook ups, but we do have water and power. Bring your hose and extension cords. You must rent an outhouse and pack out your garbage to the local dump. Please send me an email and we can work out the details.

This home was very comfortable, even for our large friend group of 9 adults and 1 child. The views on both sides of the house are stunning. It was not far from town or the Discovery ski hill. Jessica was a very accomodating host. Whether you are few or many, I would recommend this place for a quiet, comfortable home away from home.

Hi Sammie, Thank you for your kind review. I saw that there was only 4 stars from room cleanliness. It is so important to me that our home is a 5 star for everything! If you would not mind letting me know what the issues were? Feel free to text me too. As you know we live 10 hours away from the property and hiring help and not being able to "manage" it with my own eyes is challenging. The cleaner that cleaned before your stay was new to my property. Our family came after your stay for a long weekend, and I too was disappointed in some of the cleanliness. I have high expectations and I understand we all have an expectation when we travel and stay somewhere. I did hire a new cleaner after our stay. I was able to walk her through the home and explain what needs to be done. I feel confident with my new cleaner's attention to detail and hospitality. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and feedback. It is important for me to know so I can make sure things are done 150%! Jessica ~

Hyde Family Christmas

We had the best Hyde Family Christmas we have had in a long time. I believe so much of that has to do with the fact that we were so comfortable. Everything you could possibly need was provided. It truly was an awesome experience. We were so pleased. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. The host went out of her way to make sure we were having a great stay and we did.

Family Reunion

Excellent place to stay. It’s like your in a Montana postcard. Everything is clean and perfect. Loved the western feel. Owners are very accessible to answer questions and are very kind. House was perfect, loved the second living area downstairs where the kids can hang out. Kitchen has everything you could ever need to cook meals. The owners stock the freezer with homemade dinners that were absolutely delicious! I’m still thinking about that Shepard’s pie and Wygo beef stir fry, Yum!! Great stay and we will be going again this year with another group of friends!! I would highly recommend a stay at the Holt cattle ranch.

Peaceful and Relaxing

We ended our 10 day trip with two nights at the ranch and enjoyed the amazing views and comfortable home. Definitely recommend this place - especially if you’re looking to slow down and relax!

Holt Cattle Ranch Review

We had a fantastic time with our stay at the house. Everything was as advertised and the owner’s were exceptional in providing for our comfort and accommodating any of our needs. Unreal Property!!!

I went on a two week road trip from Austin, to Montana, and back. I went to see all of the sites and national parks. Nothing on my trip compared to the tranquility and complete natural beauty I found when I stayed here. The home is perfect for almost any sized group and they’ve even got pre-made home meals in the freezer (and a whole pile of good cuts of beef). But I would ask anyone who stays here to spend the sunset hours out in the backyard and take in the timeless scene as the sun creeps behind the mountains in the background. If you have any spirituality in you, it’s absolutely brought to the forefront when you look at that site. This place is exactly what I had hoped Montana would be! These folks are very good communicators and great hosts. I hope people find a reason to stay here.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at the ranch. The house has plenty of beds, is clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We will treasure the memories made while staying at the Holt Ranch! The property owner was very easy to work with and available if needed.

Beautiful and away from all the noise and hustle.

Easy as pie!! Very nice host and the accommodations were outstanding, plenty of beds and privacy from each other almost felt like our kids weren’t even there haha!! Definitely will stay there again.

We live in Washington State where we have five grown children. We are busy with our family, our large animal veterinarian business, serving our community of horses, dairy cows and beef cows. We also raise a few head of Wagyu cattle, our own horses, dogs and hens. We love to escape to our little slice of heaven with our horses, kids and ourselves. We really enjoy just being still when we are there. Our life is so busy, and we work long days. I love how relaxed I feel when we get close to our Montana heaven! I can feel all of life's pressures evaporate from my body. We love traveling to the hot springs, looking for moose, trail riding our horses through the vast mountains and valleys. The famous candy store in Philipsburg is a must!

Robert was born and raised in Dillon, Montana. We plan on moving to our ranch in a couple years. In the meantime, we have decided to rent it out as a VRBO.

We just know you will enjoy our home as much as we do!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We had looked and traveled the state for a year and a half. When I found this-I knew it was exactly what we were looking for. When we went to see it, we couldn't believe the views-out every single window. We were speechless. Besides the view, for me, Jessica, the ranch is perfect for our cattle operation. On top of a ridge, at the dead end of a private road and gates. The home is custom built and done perfectly. No corners were cut in the building process. There are NO SNAKES! They have an abundance of wildlife-elk, deer, fox, antelope, moose, fishing and snow skiing!

But what is better than any of that, is our neighbors and community. They have welcomed us with open arms! We had a dinner for 17 people our second weekend there while setting up the house. Sandy even drew me a map of where everyone lived and when I got up the next day, Tom was just finishing plowing the snow in our driveway. Our new neighbors are priceless and true community.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

There is something for every season and everyone. If you want to adventure, its there. If you want to enjoy piece and quiet and a view, its here. When I met Carrie, long time rancher in the area, she looked me in the eye and said "you are the only one with this view! Nobody in the valley has the view you have. You can see it all!" I had to fight back tears, because I feel so blessed!
