The Tellico Farm House was perfect for our Christmas vacation with nearby family. The house was clean, beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed. The owners were easily accessible and checked on us several times to ensure all was okay. This place is absolutely charming, well located, and has wonderful views. We definitely recommend the Farm House; it’s a 10!

The house and property were absolutely beautiful. Very quaint and quiet. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again in the future. We also appreciated the hospitality and communication with the property owners. Wonderful experience!

Fabulously

We had a great time! Property is perfect for motorcyclists with its covered parking area. House was inviting, clean and quiet. We slept like babies. Joe was very nice and easy to communicate with. Will definitely rent again.

Paradise in Tennessee

The reason I booked this farm cottage in Tellico Plains was how charming and inviting it was. I love cottage type rentals and this one was perfect! The location was excellent for the activities my daughter and I had planned to do, which was hiking the Great Smokey mountains and seeing a vast variety of waterfalls. I research what there was around this area and had no doubt we had picked the right place. The pictures online were spot on and actually in reality the cottage was just exceptional. Plenty of room and amenities. The cottage was super clean and the decorating complimented the outer exterior flawlessly. I just can’t say enough about how fun it was to stay here and to come back after a sometimes grueling day of hiking. The beds are sooooo comfortable and much needed after hiking all day. I would 100% recommend this farm cottage to anyone looking to hike in this area or just spend time relaxing in a peaceful area. Our hosts, Joe and Sonja couldn’t have been kinder. They made sure our every need was met, and if not, they would make sure it was. They have a warm and fun personality and are more than just hosts. We came as strangers and left as friends. Since our flight was delayed and we would not get in to Knoxville until after dark, Joe and Sonja checked periodically to see how the drive was going to make sure we didn’t get lost. They also gave us tips on where to eat and some of the best places to visit. We can’t wait to go back. Extraordinarily exceptional hosts! 😎

Farmhouse Extraordinaire

Fishing trip to Tellico. Great proximity to town and the river road. Super clean and great amenities. Two great nights fireside overlooking pastures and watching great sunsets. Will definitely stay again!

Perfect Place to Relax

The property manager was excellent to communicate with. The property is perfect for relaxing. Farm views with cattle and ponds. Firepit overlooking fields, covered swing and seating area as well as rockers on the front porch. The property is very well appointed while maintaining the integrity of the farmhouse feel. The proximity to eating establishments as well as the parkway is ideal. Highly recommend and plan to be back.

Farmhouse in the country

We had three days of fishing the tellico and north rivers and it was super nice to come back to a cozy home to unwind in for the evening. It was less than five minutes to the cherohola skwy. and river

Central Location

Good central location for waterfalling in Tellico Plains area. We hiked to 31 falls in Monroe & Polk counties. Property is an old farmhouse but well appointed; middle of farm country rather than forested area but still quiet and by yourselves. Hosts are wonderful and very helpful.

Family Birthday

We enjoyed this rental because it was located close to my grandfathers house and it’s cute, cozy country feel. But before our trip began some of our party came down with COVID. Joe was very reassuring of the protocols and we were able to move forward. My mom very much enjoyed her stay and had everything she needed to cook the meals for the surprise birthday party! We are grateful for Joe and Sonja being so flexible with us. Thank you!

Country Cottage Retreat

This quaint and charming property was a fairytale experience. The outside amenities include retreat to the front porch rocking chairs or backyard swing or fire-pit. There’s a beautiful farm next door. The property itself is truly vintage, well maintained with all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Impeccably clean, fresh and light. The property owners are nearby, so there’s no sense of worries if you’re traveling yourself or with family. Very friendly hosts and community. Lots of waterfalls, hiking and fishing nearby. This is a true gem to visit with so much to offer. I highly recommend and was thankful this property experience is open to the public as you can’t help to notice it’s a personal treasure. You leave here with so much peace and joy! Great place to make memories. Thank you for the stay!

Amazing ❤️

My experience was absolutely everything I could have imagined and hoped for and more! The hosts were PHENOMENAL and also have a very great and respectful reputation from their community. I lived in this area for approximately 10 years and know many from the area and I heard nothing but great things about the host and their family! The home is cozy and full of so much love the scenery is absolutely breathtaking and more than I could ever imagined (even being from the area at one time). My son (11 years old) begged for me to ask if I could purchase the home, he was in love with the home and East Tennessee. I can’t sing the hosts praises enough…very easy, accommodating, and sincerely kind! They go above and beyond for their guests and are VERY responsive but also respectful of your privacy! I would give this home a higher rating if I could. This will forever be my go to place to stay when I visit the area. You will not be dissatisfied at all. Phone service (Verizon) and WI-FI is phenomenal…even though I was on vacation I have two children dependent upon connectivity and I have to admit I was too for work purposes (you can never sincerely disconnect). The location is perfect…just far enough off the beaten path to enjoy the serenity and close enough to modern day conveniences. I can’t thank the hosts enough for their hospitality and the opportunity to share their family home with my little family! I have only been home for a day and I can’t wait to book my next trip!

Pretty, Peaceful & Pleasant!

Without question, this Farm Cottage and it's beautiful surroundings, gave us everything we could have asked for in a vacation home. It was simply the best, most pleasant place we have ever stayed in nearly 50 years of "vacations". Not only is the renovated Farm house comfortable, quaint, and very clean, but the surrounding property was just stunning! Sitting on a hill overlooking green pastures, filled with friendly Cows, and an occasional Bull, this place is one of the most serene, relaxing places we have ever seen. God's handiwork is seen everywhere here! If you like the quiet, farm life, beautiful hilly scenery, and friendly hosts, this is the place for you! In addition, you are close to the Smokys, the Cherohala Skyway, Tellico River, and the beautiful Bald River Falls. And if you must, you can be in Gatlinburg in an hour and a half. We hope to go again soon to enjoy this great hidden gem!! Don and Rita Schunck

Tellico Farm House Review

Unit is a farm house that was clean and convenient for the two of us while we enjoyed a few days of trout fishing on the Tellico River. We didn't spend alot of time at the unit but it was more than adequate for two of us to cook breakfast and watch our favorite shows after returning in the evenings. Wifi was very good. All appliances worked well and shower was hot with good water pressure.

Rest and Relaxation

We arrived on Sunday afternoon. The keys were where they were supposed to be, the wi-fi password was easy to find, and the home was setup as noted on the description. What was surprising was all the places to sit together outside. There is a firepit, a front porch, and a sitting area next to the carport, all with great seating options. We found the home to be cozy, unique, and clean. The couch has reclining options, which I used regularly to relax. Close to the home, there are places to visit, and tons of hiking trials all within about 1.5 hours from the property. The manager text me, and we were able to communicate very quickly. He also gave a tremendously good recommendation to visit the Tellico Grains Bakery, which had the best sandwich I have ever eaten. 11 out of 10.

Five Star Home and Fantastic Hosts!

We spent four days motorcycling in Eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina. The location was perfect, just off the Cherohala Skyway and minutes from the center of Tellico Plains. The home was beautiful, clean, and had all of the daily amenities like coffee, extra pillows, and blankets included. There was full Dish Network service and secure wifi, both of which made planning the next days ride easy. This is a family property located on a working farm with beautiful peaceful views and just the sounds of nature at night. Joe and Sonja were fantastic hosts, making sure everything was taken care of and always available if needed. If you're looking for a quiet getaway with the comforts of home, look no further. Five Star Stay!

True Peace

We can't say enough to describe this property, and its owners. They are some of the kindest people we've ever met and made us feel like real family from day one. The property is perfect, clean, peaceful, and the list goes on. Cows to watch graze, mountains and hills to view with your coffee, or wine, from the rockers, or fire pit, or anywhere. Space to cook, eat, relax, refresh; and SO much more. We can't wait to get back!
