Water front cottage w/water access, firepit & great sunsets.

The Driftwood Cottage is located in a beautiful cove right on Tellico Lake with water access less than 100 yards. This 333 sq. ft. cottage has a queen bed , sleeper sofa (twin) full bath, fully stocked kitchen, large deck with table/chairs, firepit, propane grill and a large covered carport to park your car, motorcycle or boat under.
We are just minutes away from locally owned restaurants and shopping. Less than 2 miles from Fort Loudoun State Historic Park and Sequoyah Birthplace Museum. We are just 30 minutes from the foothills of The Hwy 129 Dragon , The Cherokee National Forest and The Cherohala Skyway.
If it's crappie and bass fishing on Tellico Lake or trout fishing on the Tellico River and Citico Creek wilderness areas this is it. We are just minutes away from several boat access areas to launch a small boat or launch your kayaks right here less than100 yards to the water.
After a day of being on the water, hiking local trails or riding around enjoying the beautiful mountains , relax by the fire and enjoy some breathtaking sunsets watching eagles, ospreys and a large assortments of waterfowl and wildlife.

Absolutely a beautiful little cottage that provided everything we needed to be close to our Tennessee family. Our host was always willing to provide amenities and answer our questions. We would highly recommend this VRBO cottage.

Tiny House with a View

This was a top notch little house with a beautiful view of the sunset. So peaceful and relaxing.House was spotless and bed was very comfortable. Had everything I needed and Lavette and Joe were amazing host. Can't wait to come back and visit again. You definitely won't be disappointed staying here.

Shoreline Peace

This cabin was excellent overall. We found it to be exceptionally clean, cozy and comfortable. The owners are very available and helpful. The daily variety of birds made music every morning; fun to watch their feeder visits along with the squirrels. Though a very rural location the wifi worked well. We highly recommend the cabin and put it at the top of our list for this area. Hope to return soon!

Cozy little cottage with fabulous sunset over the water.

Tucked back in a very private neighborhood along the Tellico Lake with an unforgettable sunset. Every detail provided, a lovely take you for staying with us card, and a gift basket of goodies from the host. Great water pressure for a nice hot shower on a chilly day, all TV channels that we needed, a deck to hang out and watch the sunset and the birds gather around the feeders. Thank you for a relaxing time.

What a wonderful place.

We stayed for a week and loved it! The hosts are welcoming, kind and thoughtful people who obviously create an atmosphere of welcome, comfort and “home”. We felt relaxed & laid back throughout our visit. Such a cute, clean and comfortable home base for exploring the area. Next time we plan to spend our visit on the porch and in the lake!

This was the absolute best place we've stayed! The hosts were so thoughtful, accomodating, and kind. The location is beautiful with so much to enjoy. Fishing, hammocks, the lake, fire pit and more. The cottage is super clean with all the amenities. We cant wait to go back.

Weekend stay

Stayed 2 nights. Hosts were amazing, had special anniversary gift waiting when we arrived. (Hosts live next door) All provisions for outdoor firepit provided. Did not have time to kayak, but rentals were available. 3 miles from Fort Loudoun and Sequoyah Museum. Chose this property due to proximity to Cherohala skyway and Joyce Kilmer forest. Very relaxing property tucked away away in a lake cove. EveythinSkyway

Little piece of heaven on earth to relax.

We were very impressed with the attention and detail given to this property. The host left 2 wonderful welcome baskets . Everything we needed and more was taken care of. Best sunsets and views you could ask for. We would rate it higher if we had the option. Definitely will stay here again!

I don't think I can say enough about this place. Everything was so well thought out. All aspects of they stay were taken into consideration. I met the owners and they are the nicest people. I totally recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away and unwind. I was not able to be there as much as I would have liked due to business but I have shared this with my wife and we have decided to make this a frequent destination. Love it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Loved our stay at this cozy cottage!

We stayed in this cozy cottage for 3 weeks. The owners were welcoming, attentive and caring. On a daily basis, they checked in on us to see if there was anything we needed. This was true Southern Hospitality. We appreciated the welcome basket and enjoyed getting to know the owners. We would love to come back! Clean and well-cared for home.

I have lived here in Vonore all my life and a 3rd generation on this property. I enjoy doing restoration projects and gardening. Joe and I enjoy getting away to out favorite PCB beach get away going off shore or inlet fishing, we enjoy turkey hunting in the spring and camping. Sitting by the fire in the afternoon and something on the smoker is a favorite of ours.

Sitting by a fire with a cup of coffee and watching the eagles and ospreys in the morning and afternoon. Walking less than a 100 yards to the water with a rod and reel for some fishing, or sitting reading your favorite book. Put your kayak in and take a trip around the bend to see deer and turkeys on the banks of the lake. Fishing here is really good, from crappie to bass and even night fishing for catfish.
