Lost Oak on Center is aptly named after the falling of a mighty oak said to possibly be the oldest in town. This amazing tree fell directly on this property. Luckily, nobody was hurt and the massive stump remains. Lost Oak is the entire private upper level of a historic home in downtown Lake Geneva. Eclectically decorated and cozy, it consists of two bedrooms, a living space with sleeping options, full bath, and cute kitchenette nook (NO STOVE) with breakfast bar. Smart TV connected to WiFi. Lots of windows provide welcomed light for a relaxing stay. The outdoor seating area is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or an evening glass of vino. A gas grill is provided for your convenience. Fully licensed by the City of Lake Geneva!

*On-site parking for a maximum of four vehicles.
*This apartment is on the second level and does require guests to climb one flight of interior stairs.
*This unit features a wifi-enabled smart TV (no cable).
*There is a separate owner-occupied apartment on the first floor.

Felt bigger in person than the photos. Super cute and immaculate. Beds were very comfortable, including the daybeds in the living room (felt like memory foam). As others have noted, the stairs are steep and kitchen is cute but not set up for cooking (this suited us fine as all we wanted to do was microwave popcorn). We had four adults and managed fine with one bathroom.Cute little neighborhood a short drive from the main area of town. Would stay here again.

Perfect spot for our girls weekend! Many great restaurants within short walking distance (none of us wanted to cook). Comfy beds, every detail thought of. There were even umbrellas left near the door since rain was in the forecast.

Great location, comfy spot

We came for a girls weekend. Great location to walk to restaurants & shopping. We enjoyed walking to the lake shore trail as well! The hosts were very accommodating and the stay was a breeze - had everything we needed.

Cute Property!

We had a great stay at lost Oak for a girls getaway. The property was adorable and PERFECT for what we needed. The living room was spacious and the bedrooms were comfortable. The only negative was the communication with the property manager. There was miscommunication upon arrival and we never received a response from the number we were supposed to text about the beat. We reached out twice to see if we could get the heat turned up, but it never happened. It was quite cold for the duration of our stay. They did have space heaters in the property so we made it more comfortable with those.

Lake Geneva stay

Place was decorated nice, very cozy and supplied well. The only thing I would suggest is a deep cleaning. The area was nice and only a few blocks from the downtown which was great! I would recommend this place for a small group.

Quaint and cute

This property was such a cute and quaint home. Very clean and comfortable for our family of 5. The home is located walking distance from everything. The home was very clean, stocked with amenities and uniquely decorated. It gives you dollhouse cottage vibes but in a cool and comfy way. The property is not biggest , but definitely just enough space for our family. The only con would be the steep steps to get to unit which is located on the second floor. The steps weren’t a problem for us but I could see it being a problem for a senior citizen or small toddlers. It’s about 10 steep steps. Overall, would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking for a great place in an ideal location.

Girls weekend

We had a wonderful stay for our girls weekend. We walked everywhere. The beds were very comfortable. There was no stovetop and the fridge was small if you are looking to cook anything, there are also very deep steps if you have any knee trouble. It was a perfect place for us and we enjoyed our stay.

Immaculately clean and well-stocked

The space is extremely clean and well-stocked with towels, pillows, blankets, etc. There's a lot of attention to detail and convenience, such as mirrors where you'd want them to put on your makeup. The neighborhood is quiet, calm, and a quick walk to downtown to save you on having to pay for parking (which is not free anywhere we could find). Farmers market on Thursday was lovely!

Super cute

Exactly as pictured, so charming. There were three of us, ages 22 - 78 and all of us loved it. I didn't notice when booking that there is a steep indoor staircase, but that's on me and Great Grandma handled it fine. Just a note. Overall, we loved it, would absolutely recommend it, and would stay again.

Cozy getaway

The rental was perfect for my adult daughter and myself. Walking distance to downtown Lake Geveva was easy, less than 1/2 mile with plenty of restaurants and places to explore. Perfect for Winterfest.

Cozy little place

My friend and I enjoyed our weekend at The Lost Oak. It was adorably furnished and perfect for our weekend of catching up. The coffee provided was delicious and our beds very comfy.

Cute Place!

We enjoyed staying here for 2 nights in August. The place had plenty of room for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids). Lots of character! We brought our bikes and were able to bike to frisbee golf, the beach and town.
