Sunset Beach is a very unique place where just a few steps outside your door, one can beach walk for miles without seeing another soul or swim in the calm protected Caribbean Sea

TLSea House is a beautifully designed home offering clean classic living with an island feel.

There is a 16x20 screened in beachfront gazebo and 2 outside showers.

TLSea House has a beautiful kitchen with custom made countertops and 2 bedrooms with a sleeper sofa in the living room allowing the house to comfortably sleep 6.

We had the most relaxing time at TLSea. It is a truly idyllic place in which to unwind and enjoy the simple beauty of nature. The house is very comfortable and well equipped, and its proximity to the beach whilst retaining a degree of privacy is fantastic!

Unreal views and lovely!

This house was just lovely. Lovely views, central location, close to markets and dining options. The little touches that Joanne has done to make this house special are to many to count. Joanne communicated with us through out our entire stay and made us feel so welcome. It's a beautiful spot!

This was our favorite vacation rental ever. Truly. We are two older couples that have been traveling together for 12 years, and we all agreed. The island itself is very unpopulated and beautiful. We walked on four different beaches for miles, and saw no people. TLSea is in the upper middle of this long island and accessible to groceries, a couple of restaurants/take aways, and the farmers market. But, you will be cooking because you will never want to leave the house! The surroundings are gorgeous, the beach is shallow and huge for swimming safely and forever, we kayaked, and there is even a teeny area to see fish. We used the outdoor showers, sat close to the beach in the screened in porch, sat on the beach to see the stars. The house is tastefully/simply decorated (great bedding and towels), and is well appointed for breezes, with private entrances for each bedroom and side porches. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything (including spices and oils), that we needed. We rarely left the wrap around porch and hammocks! Joanne and Carsten are the nicest people, and were very attentive to our questions. Can't say enough about this wonderful stay! We experienced such peace and calm.

Tranquility in Paradise

We literally felt like the only people on the island. Joanne has created an inviting home that will have you begging to stay. We enjoyed walks on the beach in the mornings, boat rides during the days and hit the outside shower daily upon returning. Already planning our return 😊

Off the beaten path

In times of Covid, this is the perfect get away..stress free and the ability to disconnect from the “real” world. A beautiful home in a beautiful setting. Everything was perfect! The owner was available at any time and their recommendations for fishing , food and car rental were exactly what we were looking for! We would highly recommend this place for its quaintness, friendly people and wonderful hosts!

Relaxing vacation

This was one of our best vacations and we travel quite a bit. TLSEA has all and more for a relaxing, peaceful vacation. It is clean and has a fully stocked kitchen, beautiful deck to enjoy meals outside and a beach cabana if the bugs are out. We explored the island and found the warmth and friendliness of everyone we met to be one of the islands biggest assets. Joanne is attentive and helpful, just the right amount of checking in. We’ll be back!!

Amazing beachfront rental

Our family had an amazing time at this vacation rental, which has its own private beachfront access. The property is well maintained, spacious and was so comfortable for our family of 4. We would play on the sandy beach, go kayaking (which is provided) and go snorkelling almost every day. Being located on the middle of the island, it was convenient to travel to sights on both the northern and southern part of the island. Joanne was wonderful to deal with and was available whenever we needed her. We look forward to coming back to this property again!

Perfection!

TLSea is an absolutely perfect beach house. I can not imagine a better place to find tranquility and peace. Spotlessly clean and fresh. And the beach is absolutely stunning! The custom wooden counter tops make you feel like you are part of nature. Joanne is an incredible host as well. She was so helpful and kind, and responded quickly to all my questions.

Amazing property

Wow, what a magical place this is. I have never stayed in a rental home that I felt such a connection to and didn’t want to leave. The home was beautiful and had a great layout with both bedrooms having doors out to the amazing wrap around deck. The kitchen was great and the outdoor shower was fabulous, I never showered inside. The view from the house/deck is stunning and the beach and water were amazing. We took long beach walks everyday and relaxed in the warm crystal clear water. Joanne was super responsive and informative and wanted to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you for sharing this gem with us. You have really created a very special place.

AMAZING RENTAL

I could go on and on about this house. It’s perfect! The house was extremely clean and well kept and well put together. The kitchen was fully stocked for everything you need for cooking and easy baking. What’s the most special about it is how much love the owners put into the house. The patio is AMAZING and a great place to nap in the sun, enjoy a meal on the amazing table outside or relax in the hammock. The bedrooms are extremely clean and very comfortable. Mini splits and fans in each bedroom for your comfort. Loved how the house is decorated - so comfortable! The beach is amazing and extremely clean (some beaches on other islands have some trash build up, but not here!!). They have a small gazebo that is great to escape the sun if needed and plenty of beach gear for guests to use. Also something else great to note - high speed internet is stable, which allows for any streaming on their smart tv. I would be remiss if I don’t mention how amazing Joanne is in communicating with renters. Check in was a breeze and she was always available for questions and advice for the island. She provides so much amazing information to make your stay a vacation to remember. Truly an amazing host who cares to make your vacation as special as possible. An amazing rental and location! If I could give it 10 stars I would!

New vacation rental on a nice beach

We thought TLSea was a great place to stay. It's quite new (maybe a few years old), and everything seemed quite solidly constructed and well furnished. New appliances, well equipped kitchen, and everything worked well. The house is set a little bit back from the beach, so not much of a view from the house (you can see the water, but not the beach). However the gazebo made up for that, it's right on the beach. We had one night when it was humid with no breeze, so we used the AC, and it worked well and quietly. Other nights we just slept with the windows open so we could listen to the surf on the beach as we fell asleep. We had some minor problems finding some things when we moved in, but the owners responded quickly, and communication was clear. Negatives? Well, I did get quite a few bug bites at sundown one night, but that's my own fault for being on the beach (not in the gazebo) at dusk, on a day when there was little wind to keep them away. They also left some bug spray on the porch, but I didn't use any that night. So clearly my fault. One other odd thing was that there don't seem to be any closets anywhere, or any drawers in the bedrooms. They provided a large number of baskets to store things in. It was kind of quirky but got the job done. There's a classic episode of the Simpson's, where they say "We need a name that's witty at first, but that seems less funny each time you hear it". Did TLSea remind me of that episode? Maybe a little... So no real complaints, I recommend TLSea.

The experience we had at TLSea was above our expectations. The pictures display the property perfectly. Not shown, however, is a full bath that the owner has for the bedroom that's not considered the 'master' with an en suite bath, and it's just as beautiful as the en suite. Amazing towels and bedding (I bought them on line when I returned home!) and plenty of kitchen towels, dish soap, and everything else that completed a full kitchen which we cooked in every evening. THE VIEW. It's a perfectly sandy and soft short walk to the sea. Perfectly accommodating lounge chairs, beach towels, and a shade from an umbrella and a palm tree. The thatched gazebo is a great respite from the sun and the decorative lights are a warm glow in the evenings. There is a grill; we didn't use it, but it's a Weber and is in great shape. AND a fire pit - again, didn't utilize it, but it's a perfect place to grill over an open flame and or just enjoy the glow. Two outdoor showers, both of which were utilized every evening and morning. Magical Cottage on a Magical Island! Perfection

My husband, our two teenage daughters and I spent 11 wonderful days at this pristine cottage on the beach. The house is brand new, yet is completely equipped with everything you might need for the beach or to cook a full meal for the family. The interior of the house is minimalistic, clean lines and gorgeous. The outside spaces are the best part. A fantastic bungalow in front of the beach, great terraces, beautiful lounge chairs with umbrella, amazing outdoor showers. The house has a mooring and we were able to keep our own rental boat in front of the house. The location was also perfection. 10 minutes away from the best restaurant on the island and a 20 minute drive to the best grocery store on the island. Being in the middle of the island in Long Island is the best location. Sunset Beach was paradise. I could walk two miles everyday and enjoyed wonderful turquoise waters and white sand. The owners of the house were in constant communication with us making sure that we were comfortable and that we had everything that we needed. It was a full five star experience. We are looking forward to our next visit to TLSea!
