This two floor one bedroom appartment has everything you will need for your MDI stay. Conveniently located the rental is 7 miles from the town of Bar Harbor, 5 miles from Acadia National Park and 0.2 miles from Hadley Point Beach.
Our one bedroom one bath appartment has a full kitchen and living room area on the first floor. The second floor has another sitting area, a king size bed and full bathroom. The couch on the first floor is a full size pull out if needed.
Our appartment is located in a quiet wooded neighborhood perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. In the evening walk down to Hadley Point Beach for fantastic sunsets. Bring along chairs and have a campfire down at the beach!

The proximity to the park and to Bar Harbor is superb. We saw a magnificent sunset from Hadley Point. The space was clean and well-kept with the basic necessities for kitchen and bath provided.

Very nice place. A house in the woods that was the perfect location for exploring Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park & one of the oldest golf courses in America! Plenty of room for a couple, comfortable king size bed & just about everything we needed (except a dishwasher). Host thoughtfully provided fresh coffee, milk & fruit to get started. Recommend!!

This is the perfect place to stay if you want easy access to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor without having to deal with the crowds and traffic downtown. The food near this condo was very close and a lot less expensive than downtown, too!This condo was beyond clean...the hostess also put fresh flowers out upstairs and down! It was absolutely private and lovely. I will always stay here if we come this way again!

We enjoyed our stay at David's place. Check in was smooth, the place was very peaceful with enchanting garden and within walking distance to Hadley Point Beach. David was very kind and responsive and the place was well stocked with basic kitchen amenities. We highly recommend this place.

Peace and quiet

This property is in a beautiful setting. The facilities are excellent. We were provided with everything we needed and more. The location is close to just about everything you might want to see or do on the island. Our hosts were gracious and responded to any questions we had quickly.

I could not have asked for a better stay! The house was the perfect setup. Lots of space and super homey. Also walking distance to Hadley point - a locals beach spot. You can also walk to the campground across the street and take the island explorer to town for FREE! Great hospitality. Would love to stay again!

Bar Harbor Lighthouse

Our host Dave was very responsive and it was a great place to stay! Location was great as it was away from Bar Harbor to miss out on all the traffic but not to far. The accommodation was exactly as stated and perfect for a couple. Very clean, quite and comfortable. I would recommend and stay again if I have the chance to visit Maine’s coast again.

Excellent stay!

We spent 5 nights in Bar Harbor and highly recommend this VRBO. It's located very close to downtown and the park entrances, while having a beach and great walking/running areas all around.The property was exactly as pictured, spotless, and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for baking and cooking - a huge plus for us.Above all, Dave and Anna were wonderful hosts. They were so helpful, generous, and kind. Hope to return again!

Property was great. Has good access to Acadia, Bar Harbor and all that is available on the island.It is attached to a residence so privacy is impacted by that. Some pet noise is discernable when one is downstaris.

Perfect for our week vacation

We could not of had a more perfect place to stay for our week at Acadia. Convenient location, accommodations were as nice as advertised, very clean, everything worked great. A very quiet street and the beach had beautiful sunsets and great star viewing. We made breakfast every morning and bag lunches before setting out for a day of adventures. The hosts, Dave and Anna are very friendly and do a great job

Quiet place in a great location

We enjoyed our stay here. It is walking distance to a nice beach area, with beautiful sunsets. The apartment is part of a larger home, with its own entrance, etc. It is in great condition and well maintained. We saw the owner, Dave, on our arrival, and he was available if we needed him, the rest of the week. We actually had no issues, so we didn't see him again. The house is in a beautiful wooded setting, with very few neighbors, so it is extremely quiet and has nice views of the surrounding trees, etc. There is a campground across the road, but we never heard any noise from it. All in all, we would definitely stay with them again!

Great Acadia Location

Quiet and comfortable apartment for a couple, conveniently located just a few minutes from the main Acadia Visitors Center. Kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals when you aren’t dining in Bar Harbor. We stayed a full week which was long enough to hit the Acadia highlights. Host was very responsive and helpful. We’ll book this VRBO again if we return to Acadia.

Clean, comfy and quiet

5 night stay for husband and I to explore Acadia NP/Bar Harbor. Accommodations were clean, comfortable, and included all we needed. Lovely garden like setting with close access to Island Explorer bus stop and Hadley Beach a short stroll away. Wonderful star gazing on the outdoor patio at night. Host friendly/easily accessible/knowledgeable about area. Would definitely come back for repeat stay.

Couldn't Have Asked for More

Super cozy and great quiet location to serve as our base for a week as we explored Acadia and the Bar Harbor area. Dave & Anna were very gracious, friendly, and helpful. The apartment was just like home and we were sorry we had to leave. Highly recommended! This was our first time vrbo-ing somewhere that we didn't personally know the owners, but any fears we may have had were certainly unwarranted.

Perfect Stay!

Perfect stay and perfect host. From the first-time unlocking to the last day locking up our stay was very welcoming, quiet, relaxing and provided everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. Another bonus, David provided wood for campfires on the beach which made for amazing times at sunsets. Just down the road are great restaurants too. This rental will be our first choice if we ever return to Bar Harbor.
