This is a typical South Austin Original Neighborhood with lots of character.
The neighborhood was once working farm. There is still one section with cows, goats llamas a few free range peacocks that roam the neighborhood.

We never met the host but the house was clean, the heat worked well, and it was spacious. For us, the location was excellent!

Week stay

Needed a place to relax and spend some time with the kid. Nice quiet neighborhood and close to some great coffee and food spots. Everything went smooth.

This house was exactly what I was hoping for. A charming, spotlessly clean, perfectly stocked, perfectly functioning little home for the week. Not huge, not fancy, just exactly what we needed. The backyard was ideal for my kids to run around, safely inside the gates. The kitchen and bathroom are recently renovated and all the appliances are new and super clean. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes etc, bathroom has a million tidy clean towels, there are three true full bedrooms with closets, laundry was easy to use. Everything was just easy and cozy and a perfect home base, plus on a cute residential street lined with little bungalows (and a fire station on the corner with a bunch of shirtless 20-something firefighters playing ping-pong in the yard, if you're into that sort of thing.) Highly recommend, no notes, would stay again! Thank you Sally for sharing your darling home!

Convenient location! Basic amenities good. No hand rail on wall next to bathtub. Suggest a mat to help prevent falls. Bathtub drain is extremely slow. Too much water collects while showering, even a quick shower. VRBOs typically have basic condiments; salt, pepper, sugar. There is no salt here.

Quiet in Austin

Quit little neighborhood in the heart of Austin with a farm on the same street as the VRBO house😲! Morning walks with our 2 little pups were lovely. Drive 3 blocks out of the neighborhood, and there’s CVS, Shipley’s Donuts, Sprouts, restaurants, and more. Inside the rental, things are modern, clean, and attractive. Each bedroom has nice linens and plenty of pillows. The kitchen is supplied with nice dishes, utensils, and appliances. The big fenced backyard and the smaller enclosed patio yard were perfect for Gracie and Peanut. We would gladly stay here again!
