Vista Grande Vineyard Guest Suite welcomes you. Enjoy this quiet country retreat in the heart of the Chehalem Mountain American Viticulture Area. We are a working five acre vineyard featuring Pinot Noir grapes. Take in an impressive four mountain view of Hood, Adams, St Helens and Rainier. We are conveniently located near other local wineries such as Ponzi, Raptor Ridge, Adelsheim, Potters and Avidity to name just a few.

Kate and Doug are truly some of the most amazing people. Vista Grande Vineyard is an absolutely beautiful and serene place that soothes your soul, quiets your mind and heals your spirit. What an amazing property and even more amazing hosts! Kate and Doug were very attentive to our needs and the apartment was comfortable and cozy. The location was beautiful and convenient to Newberg and other nice areas. We are considering moving up here and our hosts were kind enough to invite us over for a glass of wine and to tell us all about the region. We were very happy with our stay here and would happily come back in the future.

Lovely Weekend

We really enjoyed our stay, the views overlooking the vineyard are gorgeous. Our weekend was full of softball tournament action so it was such a welcome retreat at the end of the day.

Cozy, Calm & Comfortable!

Beautifully landscaped property in the heart of Newberg, OR. Pleasant additional details like prefilled ice trays, extra tooth brushes, umbrellas for a chance shower and a picnic blanket for wine tours made our stay extra comfortable. Definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Beautiful Views

The property has a beautiful view. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. A beautiful scenic drive to and from the property. One downfall is the view is not from the apartment. Only window is a sliding glass door and it looks out to green but not the valley. Still would recommend as the hosts were kind and accommodating and we were so busy site seeing we didn’t spend much time inside!

stay for the views

i booked katherine’s place solely because of the reviews of the view from her place and it did not disappoint. we didn’t spend much time in our room, but we always looked forward to waking up for the sunrise and being back by sunset to watch it from the patio. katherine was incredibly accommodating and so easy to connect with - 10/10 would recommend. thanks so much!

Amazing view

Great above-garage apartment in wine country with amazing views of Cascades, foothills, and vineyards. This location is out of the way, so it was very quiet. Hosts were kind and welcoming. Apartment stocked with snacks and water. It is a lovely place to stay just a few miles from Newberg.

Quiet Getaway in Wine Country

Communication with host was easy. Single room, kind of like a loft, on a beautiful property (probably more so on sunny days!). Everything was comfortable and included everything I needed.

Nice setup in wine country

This rental has everything you need plus some extras. It's clean, comfortable and in a unique location. The view from the property is really great - Mt. Hood plus three of the Washington volcanoes can be seen from here.

Perfect stay

The suite is above a beautiful home on a beautiful vineyard. It was private and quiet yet close to everything we wanted to do and see. Our hostess Katherine was very helpful with suggestions about wineries and restaurants in the area. The suite itself is very comfortable with a wonderful king size bed and upholstered chair. There is a large tv and the kitchenette is stocked with everything you might need. Thank you Katherine for your hospitality and kindness!

Great Room in Wine Country

Wonderful place and hostess! It was exactly what we needed for a weekend away in wine country. Plenty of vineyards within a short drive to visit, along great food options in nearby towns.
