Took my niece on a vacation here so she could get her first stamp in her passport. Our first day on the island was rainy and with Melissa it didn't seem very promising that we'd see much sunshine, but we did have some good days. The beach was amazing and uncrowded as we came in the off season (late October 2025). We even had the pool to ourselves the first couple of nights. The condo itself was kept very clean, and the beds were comfortable. They did not have a pen or paper at the condo to write anything down, so I did purchase pens and a notepad and put them by the phone. Hopefully they keep them in the condo as not everyone travels with a pen and paper, and it comes in handy especially if you want a shopping list. We did end up bringing some food with us in a checked luggage as food on the island is VERY expensive (which we knew going in). This gave us more space going home for all the souvenirs! For those who enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning, this condo has both a regular coffee pot as well as a Nespresso that takes the pods (They also have a stovetop tea kettle). The location of Villa Renaissance was very convenient to shopping for souvenirs as well as restaurants and bars. Cady was amazing to work with and kept us informed of Hurricane Melissa. Unfortunately, we had to cut or vacation a day short because we were unsure if our flight would make it off the island. Thank you for a wonderful stay and won't hesitate about coming back to this lovely place.
