River House

Located on the Upper Delaware River, Pool, hot tub, exterior finished pool house. 5 bedroom, 4 bath home can accommodate 12; with 2 king, 1 Queen, 2 full, 1 bunkbed and 2 twin beds. There is a full gourmet kitchen with a Wolf stove as well as a dining area with vaulted ceilings and barn beams.
List of completed work:
There is an outdoor Pool house with bar seating. The pool is not heated. The house had a full exterior renovation in 2020. The pool liner was replaced in 2023. Hot tub installed in 2020. We had air-handler and condenser, new water softener, and reverse osmosis this year.
Starlink provides tons of bandwidth.
We are a 100 yards from the river and yes it is river front and accessible to kayaks and fishing.
We are very kid friendly, they seem to love the place.

I have been using VRBO and similar platforms for years. This home has to be in the top three rentals I have stayed. The pictures alone do not adequately represent this beautiful home. The home, the setting, the pool/hot tub and access to the river way more than we had hope for! Thank you, Larry.

Perfect family getaway!

Amazing stay, everything we needed. Plenty of space for kids between the huge yard, the pool, and the pool house. The river down the hill was a huge hit to find frogs. So many deer to look at during the evening time. This family trip was truly unforgettable!

Beginning of Summer

The house is very large and accommodated all of our needs. The large kitchen, dining area and family room was where a lot of time was spent. Everyone enjoyed the pool, and the pool house was an especially big hit. It's a great place for a large group, and we enjoyed our stay!

Dream vacation house. We are few group of friends from NYC, looking for a getaway from the hussle bussle of the city and tumble upon this gem. Best feature that we like is how big and secluded it is from the rest of neighborhood. Our kids can roam around the house and the property without any fear and danger. Swimming pool and hot tub are also bonus features and were very popular among our kids. Beautiful house, plenty of rooms, superfast wifi, laundry, plenty of toys for kids, fully loaded kitchen are few other features that we like. Owner Larry is also responsive and helpful with our all our needs. We are definitely coming back next year.

Great retreat

The house and property are a great place to get away. The house has plenty of room and the out door covered deck/pool setup allowed us to spend most of our time outside. The selection of grills and indoor and outdoor kitchens made food prep easy and enjoyable. The river is convenient to kayak/float with plenty of acess locations to put in. Host was very responsive, any time we had questions. We really enjoyed our stay.

Family vacation

Beautiful views. House was large enough to accommodate our group. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. Internet needs to be updated. We could only get reception by the river. We did have a wonderful time. Thank you for sharing this beautiful property with us!

Great getaway in Equinunk

A group of eight who all graduated together 20 years ago chose this lovely property for a post-vaccination reunion and the home and property delivered. Absolutely perfect setting for us to reconnect. My comment to one person was "It's like we have a private resort in the middle of a national park". The views were stunning but the pool and pool house were huge for us. We've all agreed we might try to make the same trip again next year. A great property and home!

Relaxing vacation on the river

This property was fantastic. Clean, spacious and obviously a home and not a beat up rental. The pool house is a wonderful hangout with cool breezes, grills and a great outdoor bar. We spent 80% of our time there. The pool was a big hit with the children. The river is gorgeous, steps away with easy access for kayaking, tubing and fishing. Large oven was unavailable and I’m sure getting service in a remote location is difficult. Wi-Fi was not great but not a surprise. Owner was very responsive to all inquiries. We enjoyed seeing countless bald eagles in this beautiful, natural setting. We hope to enjoy this property again in the future.

GET AWAY FROM IT ALL

My husband and I hosted our adult children and their spouses for the week at River House. We all agree that the home is beautiful. The surroundings are peaceful - the views of the mountains are gorgeous. The professional kitchen is well-equipped (although the large oven was not working, we made do with the small one and the grill outside). The beds were comfortable and all made before we got there! Plenty of towels and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook a great meal. The pool is amazing - large with a diving board. The pool house is great - neat and clean. River House is not located very close to a thriving town. Hancock has a few restaurants with good food and nice people - very small town feel - not fancy. The location of River House is desolate - with neighbors nearby but not right next door. Great place to stay if you want to completely go off the grid - the wifi signal is not very strong. Very relaxing week away from NYC!

Pristine Upper Delaware River

Three generations of our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful quiet property on the upper Delaware River. The house is well-outfitted, spacious, and perfect for our family of 8. The backup generator was a great asset during a local power outage. The owner was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Really great spaces/activities, both inside and out. We highly recommend it. It's an idyllic little haven with lots to offer in most any season.

Another great trip!

This was our second stay at this property, and we were able to stay longer this time around. The house is beautiful and there is plenty of room for all 10 adults to spread out. The pool and covered outdoor area is where we spend most of our time. It's a great house to just sit back and relax and enjoy the beautiful views. Larry was always available by phone for any questions. We will definately come back!
