It's a nice home in a quiet neighborhood. It does feel bigger in pictures but the size worked for us. Loved the fact that they had board games which we extensively used.

Really nice neighborhood and very quiet!!!! 5 to 10 minute walk to North Tahoe Recreational Park, which has hiking trails tennis Pickle Ball par course workout and numerous trails plus dog parks!!! it also has a ropes course and several softball and baseball diamonds and a few soccer fields. The house was very comfortable for my family and it stayed fairly cool during some hot weather we encountered!!!

This house is located in Tahoe Vista in one of the most quiet neighborhoods, which actually have quiet hours posted. Its amazing. You are far enough from the main highway where you do not hear a thing. If you are looking for the glitz or glam, this area is not for this. Go to South Lake. If you are looking for quiet, no real traffic, local shops, and a well run rental property, then you have found the right place. We got married in North Lake Tahoe 30 years ago and have not been back, since we moved out of state. We normally journey to Colorado, but this year decided to go back to where it all began. Incline Village is literally 15 minutes away, the traffic was minimal, and the views and weather were amazing. Local restaurants can be hit or miss, but three spots to consider are: The Burrito Window, The Bite, and Login Cabin Ice Cream. If you park on the west side of town across from the Safeway, its free and you can literally walk the entire town. We hiked, went horse back riding (Zephyr Shores, same place we did on our wedding day), and just relaxed for 9 days 8 nights. The house has everything you need to feel at home. Big TV, cozy couches, laundry. We only used one of the three bedrooms since it was just my wife and I. It was plenty comfortable. The house was well stocked with paper goods and tissues, which was huge. The garage was big enough to house a Chevy Suburban with room to spare. Overall, I would recommend this location to anyone planning a Lake Tahoe Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was beautiful, clean, well maintained and in a convenient area. We had a wonderful stay. However, I would not return because the beds and sheets were very uncomfortable. The chairs on the balcony had an evaporating paint residue on them so we could not sit on them.

Great House on Quiet Street in Tahoe Vista

It feels much bigger than it is and there’s plenty of parking and amenities to suit all of our family and friends. Conveniently located near Kings Beach and Incline Village and just a 20 minute drive to Tahoe City. The house was clean and ready to go with lots of towels and dishes and everything but one lightbulb worked. Only downside is there is no Lake View.

Guessing plumbing or sewer issue. Upstairs was fine but they really need to leave cable box remote as well. Nobody in family but me could use universal remote. Best part about cabin is location. Overpriced for what we got.

Wonderful Get Away

Our family enjoyed getting away from the bustle of life and enjoying Lake Tahoe. This cabin was extremely convenient to several hiking trails, beaches, grocery stores and the cute little town of Truckee. Plenty of space for everyone, including two teenagers! We hope return!

Property Needs Attention

Beautiful home nestled in the woods. Quiet but close to town with nearby walking trails. Full kitchen amenities and grill on the deck for cooking. Unfortunately the lack of cleanliness and maintenance of the house made our experience less than enjoyable. Carpets, rugs, windows and ceiling fans (SO dusty), needed a deep cleaning. Some of the windows wouldn’t open and some window/door screens were missing. Ants were crawling around the downstairs bathroom; mouse droppings could be found along the walls and there was a hole in the outside wall from a woodpecker. Critters happen but you need to take care of them! Considering the price point of the rental fee and the housecleaning fee, I expected much more from this property! I certainly didn’t get my money’s worth of the house cleaning fee. I would caution against renting this property until these issues were resolved.

Hello Evelyn, Thank you for your review of the property from your recent stay. We take your comments of the issues you experienced seriously and look to remedy right away. We have since scheduled our twice a year deep clean, and a carpet clean. Pest control has just completed their service. The windows all work normally in this newer mountain build home, but some are double latched and both need to be unlocked to open. The screens are all in place and secure where they were originally installed. The front door and windows over the kitchen sink never had screens. Thank you, Tahoe North Rentals

The house is comfortable and well equipped. The beds are comfortable. We would prefer a brighter light in the master toilet room. The carpets need cleaning.
