Centrally located along Lake Tahoe’s North Shore in the town of Tahoe Vista, Little Bear Cabin is a cozy 2 bedroom 2 bathroom home that combines the best of the “old Tahoe” vibe with some modern updates.

The first-floor living area is outfitted with a large sectional sofa, easy chair and flat screen TV, all centered around a toasty-warm woodstove. There's even a retro video game console table for one player or two! The full bathroom just off the living area has laundry facilities as well. The kitchen is basic but functional and fully-equipped, including a small countertop dishwasher. The adjacent dining table seats 4.

Both bedrooms and another bathroom are upstairs. One bedroom has a King bed and a flat screen TV; the second has a Queen bed. Both bedrooms are accessorized with a small electric fireplace for warmth and ambiance. There's a third "unofficial" bedroom with a Double bed and small lounge area with sofa and TV.

The spacious back deck overlooks a lush pine forest with a peek-of-the-lake view and is perfect for a day basking in the sun or an evening barbecuing with friends and family (gas grill available in summer only).

The central North Shore location provides easy access to year-round fun at beaches, ski resorts, and hiking and biking trails. Nearby North Tahoe Regional Park offers tennis and pickle ball courts, children’s playground, disc golf course, treetop adventure course, a dog park, winter sledding, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing.

Little Bear’s Cabin is an ideal space for a group of up to 4 guests to enjoy quality time at beautiful Lake Tahoe. The family dog can even come along, with prior approval, since this is a pet-friendly home!

- None of our properties have AC unless mentioned elsewhere
- Winter access: Chains or snow tires are often required in winter
- BBQs (propane) are not provided during winter (November–Memorial Day). Charcoal grills are banned in our area.
- Firewood is not supplied during the summer months (Memorial Day through October)
- Shampoo/conditioner/bodywash are not included
- Most have supplies like flour, sugar, salt & spices, but these are not guaranteed items
- We do not provide additional towels for beach use and encourage renters to bring them for summer stays
- For all dog-friendly properties, there is an additional fee of $100+tax per dog.
- Placer County STR rules: The county of Placer implemented a new Short Term Rental Ordinance which is very important for guests to abide by. Fines range from $1,500- 5,000 and can be issued to guests who are not in compliance. A full list of rules is attached as a photo in this listing.
Some Highlights include: Quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am. No noise shall be heard across property lines. No outdoor speakers or amplified sound are to be used at any time. Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside a property, and all pet waste must be picked up. Street parking is prohibited year-round.
