Summary:
Welcome to our spacious 4 bedroom home next to beautiful Paw Paw Lake. This charming property includes the entire home, yard, ample parking and MOST OF ALL SO CLOSE TO PAW PAW LAKE. You can swim, launch your kayak or paddle board.

The Space:

bedroom 2 (downstairs) - twin/full bunk bed
bedroom 3 (upstairs) - large daybed/couch
bedroom 4 ""master"" (upstairs) - queen bed

bathroom 1 (downstairs) - full bath, tub/shower combo
bathroom 2 (upstairs) - large ""jack and jill"" bath between both upstairs bedrooms, standing shower, full tub"

The entire home and backyard.

Fast reliable internet, perfect for working remote.

The Neighborhood:
Across the street from Paw Paw Lake. One block off the lake, but we have a lot of favorite beaches in the area to recommend.

Blackbird Waterhouse – 2 min drive - Atmosphere and apps
Easy Street Inn Food & Spirits – 3 mins drive - So many great food and beer options
T's Tap - Great diner style burger cooked tight in front of you

Free parking on site!

Other Things to Note:
Before we can confirm any booking, we do need to know:
1. What brings you into town?
2. How many people will be staying at the home?
3. Do you expect any visitors, if so how many?

We do charge an additional $150 deep cleaning fee for pets (per reservation). Pets must be disclosed to us and pre-approved prior to booking.

We may require an ID and/or signed Rental Agreement or a refundable deposit prior to check in.

We only provide the initial supplies for the stay. If more are needed throughout the trip, It will be the guest's responsibility.

We do not have keys or access to our mailbox.

Fireplace (just for looks/non-functioning).

We have a weekly landscape service and landscaper will need access to the property grounds once a week (usually Thursdays). They will not need to go inside the home but will access the backyard and lawn area to mow.

HOUSE RULES

$150 cleaning fee (dogs only) must be collected after booking, prior to check in!
25+ to Book
No smoking or Vaping (of anything) inside the unit. $500 fine if home smells like smoke.
Must check out by 11:00 am or will be charged $25 per 10 min past check out time (rounded up).
Must book for total number of guests staying/visiting the home. $100 per unauthorized guest/night.
3 Ring cameras on the exterior of the property. These do record when it captures motion. Blocking of cameras will lead to eviction and $1000 fine. NO EXCEPTIONS!
If a security team is called due to an infraction of the house rules, the guest agrees to pay for the security team ($500 minimum) and the duration of the reservation, even if removed by the security team due to the infraction.
Do not cover Ring Cameras, this will lead to an eviction and forfeiture of security deposit.

We do NOT allow late check out. There is a charge of $25/10 min after 11AM.

Please DO NOT flush feminine products/paper towels/any foreign substance down the toilet (ONLY toilet paper). It is not good for the pipes and if there is an issue we may pass the charge onto the guest.
We do have Ring Cameras outside the property. Any blocking of the cameras will lead to an automatic eviction, forfeiture of security deposit, no refund and a fine. Please do not block these cameras.
Please no burning of candles, incense, or anything else in the home. If done, this will be treated as “smoking” in our house rules. Thank you.

Great spot

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and has all the amenities you could ever need! The location is perfect with views of Paw Law lake from every window! We would stay again!

Fantastic Stay

We loved our stay on Paw Paw Lake. The house is adorable and decorated so well. So much space throughout the house. Communicating with the hosts was fantastic. I made a mistake when booking and they helped quickly and had great customer service. Would stay again!

Nice location by a beautiful lake. Beautiful kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Other than there was little or no water pressure to shower with, it's a great place!

Nice Place to Stay

Place was pretty much as advertised and clean when we arrived. Little things like low water pressure and some misc damage around the house that still needed to be fixed, but nothing that majorly impacted our stay. The place is spacious and beds comfortable. I'd book here again if I were to return to the area.

Beautiful Space, Plenty of Space

I was a bit worried when I saw zero reviews for this location, however, once we found the property we were stunned by how beautiful it was and how large/open the floor plan is! Everything seemed new and clean and the check-in/out process was really easy. They had two coffee machines, tons of plates/cookware to use, a grill/firepit which we didn't end up using but the yard was great for our small dog. The area is very cute, you can walk around the lake but not actually on it as there are no paths (the lake is essentially people's backyards) but you can walk on the street and peer through the houses to see it. There is a small bar called the Bend Bar you can walk to and they have bar food. It was a great place to spend Halloween. There's also Hardings Family Grocery which is 5-minute drive. Tons of wineries around but just know you don't get much cell service out here/Ubers are not available. So be prepared to screenshot your directions to/from before leaving the wifi in some areas. The only thing a bit off with this property which I'm sure there's nothing you can do is the water smelled like eggs no matter how long you ran it/temperature. So we did end up buying cases of water.

Not as advertised… home is overall dirty and tired.

Stayed at paw paw lake home for two nights June 21-23, 2024. Came in late at night and could barely recognize the home. Yard is overgrown and unlike the garage photo. Upon entering the home there is a general unclean feeling and overall unkept appearance. Floors were dirty, counters were dirty, wood island had food ground in to the wood graining, kitchen drawers fell out of the slots when opened and were full of random items (fortune cookies, random items,one coozie) baskets full of smoke detectors owners mail in a stack under the island. Beds were uncomfortable, pillows lumped up (foam kind- been washed I guess and now we’re more like floor puffs), no ac in upstairs room, shower tile in master moldy and missing tiles, outside patio chairs and table we’re so moldy, we had to clean the chairs to be able to sit on them, the other patio furniture had no cushions and was unusable. See photos for descriptions and details. Contacted the management company by phone once about the cleanliness and the air conditioner, traded text with the management company twice about getting a fan for the upstairs, was told that was not part of the amenities, and I could go buy one for myself and they would reimburse me. Perk Coffee maker overflowed twice, no Keurig as pictured. Refrigerator was dirty with food scraps in the drawers. Never cooked at the house. So unsure of grill or stove. All glass doors were heavily fingerprinted/dirty smudges up to about 3.5 feet.

Multiple issues with rental property

Overall, our stay was a very frustrating and disappoint experience. We had multiple issues with rental property (issues with freezer, tub drain, and washing machine). Each issue required multiple messages with property manager and only one issue was successfully resolved before we decided to leave one night early and find different accommodations that were less frustrating. Additionally, we did not feel the property manager fairly/properly refunded us for the last night, in spite of the ongoing issues that we experienced. Also, the condition of the house did not match the photos. There was noticeable water damage throughout the house, ceramic tiles that were completely detached from the floor, and multiple interior doors that could not be shut because they do not fit the openings properly.
