Walloon Lake Gold Coast- Reserva ahora para 2019!

Estamos justo en el lago. Una de las pocas propiedades en Valonia con vistas a la puesta de sol, patio plano y fondo de arena / lago de arena. Estamos ubicados a solo 6 millas de la ciudad de Boyne, a 7 millas de Boyne Mountain Ski Resort y a 9 millas de Petoskey (con las cercanías de Boyne Highlands) nuestra cabaña frente al lago se alquila todo el año para flores de primavera, sol de verano, tour de colores otoñales y golf, y Esquí, snowboard, iceskating y raquetas de nieve en invierno.

Esta casa de campo se encuentra en la costa dorada de la costa sur del lago de Valonia. Durante todo el año, disfrute de hermosas puestas de sol desde la cubierta frontal del lago de 20'x20 '. Un patio grande, plano y cubierto de hierba, a pocos pasos de la playa de arena y el fondo de arena del lago. Maravilloso para niños y adultos por igual! Muelle 'Bulman' con amplia terraza y un elevador para uso de los huéspedes (a pedido). Incluye cubierta trasera protegida para tomar el sol sin viento y un hermoso jardín de flores para flores durante todo el verano.

La casa cuenta con cinco dormitorios y tres baños completos. Tres habitaciones en la planta superior (dos camas tamaño queen y una sala de bunkies para los niños con dos camas individuales) comparten un baño completo con bañera con patas originales y ducha actualizada. El dormitorio principal tiene baño completo en suite con plato de ducha con barras de apoyo y un banco para bañarse sentado. Área de estar para el café de la mañana y la oficina con vista al lago, también cerca del maestro
El dormitorio adicional del primer piso cuenta con cama doble con baño completo en suite con vidrio y ducha con azulejos.

Amplia sala de estar / comedor con sillas de gran tamaño y un sofá para una noche de cine familiar. Inicio ofrece televisión por cable y wi-fi. Mesas de comedor al aire libre para capturar esas gloriosas puestas de sol todas las noches!

Estamos convenientemente ubicados a menos de una milla de 'el pie' (Village of Walloon), que cuenta con un gran parque familiar y playa pública, tienda general, oficina de correos, restaurante / bar, panadería y tiendas. Acceso al lago para botes de lanzamiento, excursiones en canoa por el río Bear, rafting y caminatas a lo largo del río Bear, también disponibles al pie.

Cute and Charming Cottage

What a fantastic cottage in the best (in our opinion) location on Walloon Lake—beautiful sunset views. The outdoor space is perfect, with a large deck, a big flat yard, and dock space for our pontoon rental. The bunk beds were small for the over 6'2" 23-year-olds in our crew (lol), but they would be great for kids. Jennifer was responsive and a lovely host! We hope to rent again soon!

Great location,

Overall the accommodations were adequate for our needs. While the basic cottage was dated, it was very clean and kept çurrent with items like WiFi,cable TV and appliances. We occupied most of our time outside on the large deck and on the front lawn, which was spacious and accommodated our pick up games.

Walloon classic heaven

Lovely property in an ideal setting. Stunning sunsets and the wind rustling through the trees was so peaceful. The property was, in the words of college bound teens, “sooo cozy and charming”. Wow, those are teens saying that! They loved the comfy couch and oversized chairs. The master suite was very nice with a cozy fireside glow to fall asleep to. The kitchen was well equipped and met all our needs. We had 5 people staying and never once did we feel cramped. Would rent again and again for a timeless experience. Thank you, Jen for being a great host!!

Perfect spot for family vacation

This home has everything you need; it is very well stocked. We loved lounging on the front porch, dining outside, swimming and watching the sunset. We rented a pontoon to explore the lake. Went to Bill’s farm market in Petoskey and made use of the grill. The host was very helpful and responsive. The whole family would like to come back next year.

Beautiful lakefront home! Highly recommend!

We loved staying in this beautiful home on Walloon Lake. The lake itself, the 5 bedrooms and proximity to the village of Walloon were three of its best features. The home is very clean, well-maintained, and has the authentic "up north" feel of a family cottage. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time and will return as often as we can!

Perfect location and property for family

This house and property were perfect for our families. The house is well kept and well stocked for a family getaway. This home has a wonderful beach for young kids, excellent location on the lake and provides easy access to the best spots in northern Michigan. We loved it and truly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect family lake house

Cozy cottage with plenty of room for 2 families and a set of grandparents. The lot was perfect for playing yard games and enjoying the beach! The kayak and paddle boards were wonderful to be able to use. Great location on our favorite lake! Jennifer was very easy to work with and quick to respond. We look forward to returning soon! We loved it!

Wonderful week in Walloon!

Perfect house for our family of 10. Beautiful, clear lake with room for the boat was perfect for our group. With little ones really appreciated the shallow sandy beach access and the older ones appreciated the paddle boards and kayaks! Fabulous location with gorgeous sunset views. House was fully stocked with all the towels and kitchen implements we could ask for. Charming!

A perfect summer vacation home!!

Wonderful Week!

We arrived to a very clean and cozy home, well stocked with everything we needed and more. Our kids enjoyed the yard and lake. We appreciated the convenient location, but tucked-away feel of the North Michigan woods and lake. Just what we needed!

Great stay!

No issues as everything was accurate in the description. Great location although some road noise. Cottage was well stocked with everything that was needed (they held back on nothing!) Clean and great shape. Shore/beach area was perfect just wish it was warm enough to swim. Jennifer the host was accommodating and very easy to work with. We recommend this property!

What a wonderful property! The lake was amazing! The kayaks, paddle boards and conoe were great to have. The house has plenty of room and the kitchen is stocked with everything you will possibly need. Walloon Lake is a dream come true!

Charming Cozy Cottage

This rental will give you everything you could want for a wonderful and relaxing vacation. Kitchen is very well equipped for cooking your own meals. The beach and water is great for both adults and families with small children alike. Location makes access to area towns just a short drive away. We would recommend this rental to anyone.

Great family vacation!

We were a group of 8: 2 in their 60's, 2 in their 30's, and 4 children aged 2 - 8. The kitchen is very well equipped; most any gadget you need is available and there are enough plates and silverware to feed an army! Very nice selection of pots and pans too. The beds and pillows were very comfortable...and I'm picky about that sort of thing. Living room furniture is very comfortable and there is plenty of seating on the deck for outdoor meals. We rented a pontoon from Tommy's in the village of Walloon for one of our 2 weeks. Picking up and dropping off was a breeze as the cottage is just 1/2 mile from town. The lake is nice and clean with a sandy bottom; perfect for our little ones. We did experience some swimmer's itch, but that is pretty normal for many of the area lakes.

October Wedding

We used the house for 3 young families (6 adults and 3 young kids). We were able to stay comfortably and having 3 bathrooms to all get ready for the wedding was great. Very large porch and backyard for kids. Too cool in October to enjoy the outside but would have been great in summer.

Great location, cute house

This was a thoroughly enjoyable 2weeks for our extended family. The master suite was huge, and the office was nice to have for my working children. Just know the WiFi and cell phone service is spotty for this entire area, not just this house. The house charming, obviously well loved and cared for for generations. It is NOT a generic rental, which we loved. The kitchen supplies were actually the BEST we have ever had in 15y of renting with VRBO, not cast offs from other homes. We cooked easily for our large family. It is somewhat creaky upstairs, but that is the charm of an old cottage. The rooms were adorable, and well set up for families. The kayaks and canoe were appreciated. The lakefront was sandy, warm and shallow enough for kids WAY out past the dock. We rented a boat, and it was dropped off by an off lake rental place that was much cheaper. So close to the village, the Barrel Back is a really fun restaurant. Owner was helpful for some small issues which were quickly resolved. Our only complaint was the neighbor was doing some construction that was noisy, but there are no rules on this lake about that, and the owner had no control over it. Too bad she couldn’t have waited until fall.

Excellent location

The property is in an excellent location. Near to Walloon village and facing west for great sunsets. The sky was spectacular just after sunset. The dock was excellent along with the sandy beach. The deck facing the lake is great for eating outdoors. The master bedroom is very nice with its own private bathroom. The upstairs bedroom are small having queen size beds. The floor outside the bedroom is very creaky and it is hard to get up early without waking up the other bedroom people. The kitchen is very nice with a lot of dishes and silverware. The washer and dryer are very small and can not handle large loads. The microwave was also very small. Overall we had a very good time and enjoyed the rental.

Our experience in one word.....WOW!!!!!!!!

Everything about this property exceeded our expectations. A beautiful home on the perfect lake. Everything we needed was provided except the food, drinks and the family. Everything we needed was there and the quality of the bedding, towels, furniture and cooking tools were top notch-we tried to find something that was missing and we couldn't-every type of kitchen gadget is there. The privacy, parking and location really make this the PERFECT home for our week on Walloon. Additionally, the owners are not only a pleasure to deal with, they went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. Friendly neighbors only add to the quality of our experience. It is an older home so the creaks are all there and you know when people are up....however that is exactly what we wanted and what we desire in a lake home so although some find that a negative, we rate that as a positive. We strongly recommend this home and want to thank the owners for their hospitality and their kindness. The only downside is that this review may affect the availability moving forward-Book Early and Plan Ahead. We are already looking at dates for 2020 as 2019 is booked. Thanks again and we look forward to our next visit. Dan and Amy.

As kids, our parents packed us into the station wagon with all the pets and we spent the whole summer at the lake. Now as adults, we bring our children as often as we can. There is nothing like Walloon!

This cottage is a three season rental: Spring, Summer and Fall: Spring come join the Morel Mushroom hunt and Festival in mid-May, Summer is great for boating, swimming, kayaking, sunning, shopping, and enjoying the lake with friends. The Fall color change is a must see and the local golf courses can't be beat! Enjoy the local wineries any time. Five wine and cider makers all within five miles of the cottage!
