Spectacular location within sought-after Rotunda West! This well equipped pool home is a short walk or ride to many golf courses and only 4 miles to beautiful Englewood beach and a few minutes more to nationally acclaimed Boca Grande beaches.
Enjoy the fresh-water view from the pool-side or rent a kayak and take a ride from our private dock around the 9 mile, fish stocked canal. Enjoy the nearby bike and walking trails as well.

The pool was a great time to watch the sunset in. We saw a whole bunch of wildlife around the area. A great and convenient location with shopping and the islands.

Ein sehr geräumiges Haus direkt am Kanal. Wir hatten so eine schöne Zeit ohne Langeweilige, weil einfach alles da war was man brauchte. Kajaks (man konnte direkt hinterm Haus los), lustige Spiele, ein toller Pool. Als ich nach einem Wäscheständer fragte und es keinen gab, kam die Verwalterin eine kurze Zeit später mit einem neuen an. Das nenne ich Kundenservice. Es waren Waschmaschinentaps, Spülmaschinentaps wirklich alles da. Wir hatten zu 5 genug Platz und alle waren glücklich.

Vacation

The house was fantastic…kitchen was amazing! Along with the pool! The only problem we had was the owner likes to keep the air set on 72 and generally stays from 72-75 because it’s so hot outside. That’s incredibly to warm for us especially sleeping at night. The people that stayed before us left their dog poop bags all in the flower beds as we arrived. Communication was great and the owner ended up letting us put the air at 69. My two pregnant daughters are very grateful!!

Perfect family vaca

We had a great stay. Our family enjoyed the pool and trying to catch fish... which we actually caught an alligator. The house was very spacious especially for a family of 4 and the pool was big just like the pics show. House had everything you would need. Beach was about a 12 min drive... not too bad. If your looking for a tourist area this is not it.. but perfect to spend quality time with the family!

Great Home Base

Very spacious! Had everything we could possibly need. Kids (and adults) loved the pool. Visited Englewood and Venice Beach to find shark teeth. Property management, Johanna is awesome! Would stay again!

2 weeks in Paradise!

I went with a friend and we had a wonderful time. The house is lovely with generous rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The air conditioning worked fine and the house was set to a very comfortable temperature. The pool was lovely and warm. Lots of towels provided as well. There was lots to do in the area, restaurants, beaches and we went on a dolphin cruise with Gasparilla Boat Tours. We saw lots of dolphins! Would definitely go back!

Casual, cozy, relaxing: Great Value

Came with grand kids, Pool was very clean and they thought of all the amenities. plenty of towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, etc. there were lots of “toys” we didn’t take advantage of like the kayaks, golf, clubs, tennis rackets, etc. We enjoyed watching the wildlife while having coffee on the lanai. House manager was very friendly and responsive to my many questions (answers were all in the welcome binder, she was very patient with me, haha). If you are familiar with Rotonda, VRBO mistakenly shows home in the Broadmoor neighborhood, but it’s actually on outer edge of Oakland hills. Would stay again, great

Relaxing and fun

This was our second year at this location. The house is clean, pretty close to beaches and feels like a home away from home. We enjoyed hours in the pool and going to the beach for sunset.

Loved it here

Peaceful and lots of birds to watch. A few gators too. Tried fishing but had no luck. The pool was also a great bonus.

Awesome place

We were there visiting family in Rotunda West. The place was perfect for the family with the pool, short distance to multiple beaches, and all the amenities the house had to offer. We hope to come again next year.

Comfortable and relaxing

We had the most wonderful last two weeks. Slow morning, pool time, movies and beach visits in the evening for sunset. Check in was so simple and Lynda so sweet to communicate with. We would love to come back in the future. The house was even better than we expected.

Relaxing Vacation!

Canal Front Rotonda

Such a beautiful, clean, and spacious home. We LOVED the pool and back patio area! We got to see quite a few alligators swimming through the canal over the course of our stay (one or two at a time). We also went on an AWESOME dolphin tour (12 minutes away) @ Sol Vibes Charters! We visited just about every town in the area and ate tons of GREAT food. Rotonda 👉 Venice is such a BEAUTIFUL, fun, and nice area! Would recommend the area and this home to anyone!

Ants and lack of proper air conditioning

The house appears nice. Arrive and entry was easy. It is far from beaches, stores, and basically anything. We noticed the house temperature immediately and it was around 80 degrees at 9pm at night. Also noticed ants in the kitchen. We attempted to manage and waited to contact host owner until next day. They did send out air conditioning repair companies twice with NO change in temperature until the temperature outside changed. Also could not get exterminator until the last night of our vacation. This was not relaxing at all. Not to mention home has wholes throughout, rusted light fixtures, no bathroom fans for ventilation, broken oven door, and it wasn’t properly cleaned when we arrived.

Perfect for what we needed

We loved every minute of our 6 night stay. All 5 of us utilized the dock and fishing equipment on the canal out back, and the kayaking. The beds were comfortable and the entire place is nice and bright. Thank you Lynda for allowing my family to relax and enjoy the Florida sun!

Great private house for families

Loved this house. Very roomy, great layout. Our family of 5 adults enjoyed our stay while visiting other family who live in the area. Loved the lanai and that the house is pet friendly. Just be careful of the very busy road! Great communication with owner. Would return to this home.
