Serenity awaits you at this fabulously renovated, oasis on the bay. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath masterpiece is adorned with all new stainless steel appliances, Viking stove, marble counters, modern bathroom and kitchen finishes, plush furnishings, and much much more.

You will enjoy spectacular views from sun up to sundown on the large two-story deck. Whether sipping coffee, or cocktails, boat watching, grilling out, fishing off the deck, bird watching, or lounging on the deck, this home has something for everyone. The large, fully fenced-in yard is great for young children and pets. There is a boat slip with a lift system available if you would like to bring your boat. It offers very easy access to the main bay. We also have 2 kayaks available for canal cruising.

The inside of the home is breathtakingly beautiful. The master bedroom features a roomy king-size bed with an ensuite that houses a cozy queen-size pull-out couch. The second bedroom features a comfy queen-size bed for two. The third bedroom offers a queen bed that sleeps 2. There is also a built-in loft/daybed in the family room for additional sleeping space for 1. The home is perfect for two families, one family, and in-laws, or a girl's getaway.

The home is a short distance from the vehicle-accessible beach, where you can enjoy a day of fun in the sun! When you return there is an outdoor shower to rinse off. The Jamaica Beach neighborhood also offers a community swimming pool. For a small fee on-site, you can enjoy the freshwater while taking in the sun. You can also rent kayaks, paddleboards, and golf carts to enjoy during your stay. There is a boat slip available for your own boat as well.

The City of Galveston is full of wonderful attractions as well. Take a day trip to nearby Schlitterbahn waterpark, Moody Gardens, The Strand, or The Pleasure Pier. The duck boat tours, bicycle rentals, and a visit to Murdock's are all crowd-pleasers.

Best canal views in Jamaica Beach

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Perfect for a weekend getaway with two couples and a small pet. The outside view offers expansive views of the canals not just a speak of one piece of the canal and a neighboring house. We enjoyed the patio. Plenty of shade and sun to choose from ample furniture and fantastic sunset views. We come to Jamaica beach at least once a year and never stay at the same house, however all of us agreed we plan to visit this house again. Thanks!

So relaxing

The property was perfect for the weekend! We didn’t want to leave! My family and I loved the beach in morning, sunsets on balcony, and kayak ride at night in the canal! Great location and comfortable house to make dinner and relax. Would recommend!

Always a relaxing getaway!

Serenity by the bay never disappoints! We do a yearly girls trip to Galveston and always stay at this beautiful home! I’ve rented beach houses for many years and have never stayed at a more lovely or well equipped house. It had absolutely everything you could need and then some. The owner is so easy to work with and goes above and beyond to accommodate her guests! The views from the deck are amazing and the fishing is always good. Can’t recommend this home enough! Will be renting this house for years to come.

Serenity on the Bay was perfect as always

Serenity on the Bay was perfect as always! We have stayed at this home at least 4 times and have always enjoyed being there. The deck overlooking the canals is outstanding - very calming but very entertaining - always a boat, kayak, etc. passing by. Everything in the house is perfect for a vacation property. The dock is great for keeping a boat and for fishing at all hours. I am already looking forward to our next trip.

Fabulous vacation home away from home

Beyond Wonderful

I rented Serenity on the Bay for my step kids' Spring Break. We had a blast. Everything was better than expected. Kathy was extremely friendly and helpful. She was accomodating when we requested to extend an additional night. My step daughter forgot her bathing suit when we checked out and Kathy was nice enough to mail it back to us. The house was perfect for us. Very clean, had all the amenities listed and more. I was able to keep my boat in the boat slip making early fishing mornings super easy. We will definitely stay here again on our next vacation in Jamaica Beach.

Relaxing Getaway

We have stayed at Serenity by the Bay a number of times now, and are never disappointed. The home is beautifully decorated with amazing views and is well equipped with anything you could possibly need for your stay. The owners have thought of everything. They are very quick to respond if you have any questions, and are more than willing to take care of any additional needs you might have. I highly recommend staying here! You will not be disappointed!

Beautiful view and home

Our stay was fantastic! The views were beautiful and the house was very accommodating. Our adult kids enjoyed fishing on the canal and brought out the kid in them! We plan on staying here again, but will plan for a longer stay! Also loved kayaking! So much to do.

Great getaway!

This is our second stay in this home and we love it! The house is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and had everything we needed in the kitchen. There is an upper and lower deck that faces the water and it is so relaxing. We had a good time using the kayaks. The beach is a very short drive and the outdoor shower was nice afterwards. The area is beautiful and very safe. We will be back!

Another fantastic stay in this beautiful canal home…

This is I believe our 8th stay in this beautiful canal home and we will be back asap! This home is just our favorite in Jamaica Beach. The house is so beautiful and cozy, the view is amazing, location is perfect, wonderful beds, well maintained…. I could go on and on. Our boys just love fishing and kayaking from the back dock. Our family loved celebrating thanksgiving here this year. We even caught some blue shell crabs from the back dock. We have made so many family memories over the years here and can’t wait to get back.

Jamaica me want to come back

We booked to spend a weekend with my son, his wife, 1 1/2 year old grandson and his wife’s sister. The area was quiet with great access to the beach. Working with Kathy was a pleasure, she was responsive and available for all questions. Would highly recommend booking with her properties to anyone interested in visiting the area.

Fabulous Location

We loved the location! Great view of the canal all the way around. The living area was grand with large kitchen and island bar. Plenty of seating around the bar and living room. Great porch area! The master bedroom needs bedside tables and a place to hang clothes. Bathroom is large but not enough towels. We were hoping for 3 bathrooms but in reality, there are only 2. There is an outdoor shower but, in my mind, that does not qualify as a bathroom. All in all, we loved our stay!

Beach stay

While overall our stay with our family and grandchildren was everything we had hoped. Unfortunately this beautiful house did not live up to photos . This home has black mold on entire great room ceiling. We decided not to go thru the hassle of trying to find a replacement because we only booked for 4 days . We came along way from hawaii to spend this family time. We should have left because my husband and myself have been sick after staying at this property. I did make the property manager aware I can only hope it’s corrected for future guest

What a beautiful place!

This was our first trip to Jamaica Beach and Serenity on the Bay was the perfect vacation home for our family of three! It certainly could sleep more however we loved having the extra space. The sofa area in the upstairs bedroom was perfect for luggage over the week, especially located between the bathroom and bedroom. The nook located in the living area was loved by our 11 year old. It was her little space to hang out. We loved it too because while she enjoyed playing on her device from time to time, we enjoyed having her part of our relax time as well. The sunset and sunrise were absolutely stunning! We only had a couple of simple questions during our stay and Kathy was very quick to respond! The pictures are just as in person. The checkout process was super simple, which is greatly appreciated because no one really wants to checkout of vacation!! And long checkout lists just drag out the sadness of leaving what was a very memorable week. We are all looking forward to visiting Serenity on the Bay again! Hopefully very soon!! It was honestly a home away from home and the perfect setup for relaxing or having some adventure! Last, but not least, the community is fantastic!! Everyone is so nice, the pool was great, the beach itself is very well manicured, access to the restaurants and stores on the highway are accessible without getting onto the highway. It’s very convenient! And, Kathy was a stellar host!!!

Great house in a perfect location!

This house is absolutely beautiful inside! The kitchen was amazing. We enjoyed floating on our lily pad in the canal and enjoying the sunset from the balcony. It is a short drive to the beach and a short boat ride to the bay. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! We have stayed in 3 houses in Jamaica Beach now and this will be our first choice for stay when we come back.
