The True Log Cabin Experience!

Your family will love spending time in this charming, authentic log cabin — full of character, cozy corners, and creative nooks throughout. There’s even a special room just for the kids!

Relax in the spacious family room featuring a flat-screen TV and plush lounge seating. The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to prepare family meals, or you can cook out on the gas grill provided. The kids will enjoy their own little retreat with a play kitchenette, table and chairs, books for story time, and games for endless fun.

Upstairs, you’ll find two cozy loft rooms — one serving as the master bedroom with a queen bed, and the other with bunk beds perfect for the little ones. A full shared bathroom connects the two.

Step outside to enjoy graciously oversized porches and decks. Sip your morning coffee on the front porch swing, relax in the hot tub on the open deck, or gather for breakfast and dinner on the large screened porch surrounded by nature.Nestled among Mountain Laurel, hardwoods, and pines, this cabin offers beauty, privacy, and easy access — the perfect setting for your next family getaway.

Currently the gas fireplace is not working, but we do have central heat and air.

Great place!

Nice peaceful cabin in a quiet mountaintop neighborhood. Great access to several state parks, Chattahoochee National Forest, and of course Helen. Saw a couple of deer walking down the driveway one afternoon.

Great cabin !

Great cabin. Great porch. Would stay again. I would appreciate more curtains in the master bedroom to fully block that living room wall. It was clean and cozy. Convenient to Helen and Cleveland.

Overall good experience

The Peaceful Pines cabin was charming and comfortable. The hot tub was clean and in good working order. Good communication and timely information was provided. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. Although some kitchen items were not clean, the kitchen was stocked and well equipped. In addition, the kitchen/bathrooms are in need of updating and some repairs. Overall, the cabin was in decent condition. It was conveniently located, not too far Helen and it was quiet and safe. Overall a good experience.

This was the ideal place for us to stay. It was very cozy and quite, the perfect get away for us. Loved the seclusion of the cabin and having everything that was provided in the cabin to make our stay very comfortable. We thank you for everything.

Amazing trip

We had an incredible weekend getaway here! We needed some R&R along with nature and we found exactly that at this house! The fireplace and hot tub were our favorite aspects but they had everything you needed here. Also, close to amazing hikes, Octoberfest at Helen and wineries in Dahlonega! Would definitely stay here again!

Private Getaway for a Family of 4

The property is conveniently located a few minutes from the main road to Ruby Falls, but far enough to not hear cars or trucks. The property has 3 large balconies, the front one is very inviting and has a 2-person swing, the rear one is fully screened in with chairs and tables, the side one has the hot tub, which was perfect. Inside, the cabin is has a perfect cozy feel to it. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything that you need to cook with, just bring food to cook, please note that the stove is gas and the fridge has a working icemaker. We drank the water from the faucet, it was excellent. The AC works super well, and the shade of the trees didn't allow the cabin to get hot during the day (bonus). The upstairs floor has the full bathroom, and the 2 bedrooms, very convenient if you want to watch tv while others sleep; there is a restroom in the main floor too. The yard firepit was awesome, we were able to use it several times. The internet is top notch too, its the small stuff like this that makes the difference. When going to Helen from the cabin, you have 2 options to get into town, in case there is a backup, this is a plus as well. We stayed for 7 nights and really didn't want to leave when it was all over. This was our 10th stay in a Cabin in the area in the last 7 years we book 2-3 cabins annually in this area.

Awesome Quiet Place

The family and me really enjoyed this cabin. Cabin was fully furnished and had some games for our teenagers to play ( no electronics lol) Love to come back in the winter time and rent it. No issues with neighbors and saw some wildlife around.

No A/C upstairs in bedrooms

There was no A/C in the main bedroom!!!!! Bedroom with bunkbed had one vent that put out very little air. Ceiling fan in main bedroom only had very low speed. Hard to sleep when you are hot !!!!
