Hacienda Caribe is a brand new Villa located on the southern east portion of Isla Mujeres. The Villa is detailed with the finest quality materials, including hand carved mahogany doors, custom Merida tiles and granite counter tops The Villa contains 12 suites, 4 of which are Ocean facing. Each suite contains a master bedroom, bath, living/kitchen combo. there are also 2 very large common areas that include a kitchen , large granite island, sofas, chairs, and large televisions. Seating for 22 people in each common area.

Wonderful Week

We are a group of 26 family members. This house was wonderful - all of us fit so easily. Two large group rooms with big kitchens: we used one as the bar area and the other as the food area. the pool is beautiful, but not very warm. Unfortunately, when we were there the hot tub was not working. Maureen, the property manager is great and helped us with alternatives. We would return!

Perfect Place for Company Meetings

I rented the villa to host leadership meetings for our company. Everything was top notch, from the beautiful and clean rooms to the gorgeous pool and ocean views. I highly recommend this property for meetings, or a vacation with friends and family. Maureen is great and easy to work with. She was quick to address a minor issue during check-in. Thanks!

Like staying at a private resort!

We had a group of 18 friends to celebrate my 50th Birthday. Everyone was extremely happy. Having 12 full suites allowed people privacy when desired. The two large kitchen/living areas allowed for meeting, eating, and hanging out. We used the 2nd kitchen to have a private chef prepare meals on a couple of days. The pool was huge and everyone could enjoy. The hot pool was perfect for the breezy nights. There was seating for all and then some. The cleaning staff was there during the days, but were at a distance. It was perfect for party day where we were able to bring in live music. The area is quiet at night, and offered the most amazing sunrises! It was an amazing once in a life time stay!!

Dream vacation

This property is so dreamy. We woke up early every morning just to see the sunrise. Cant miss it. Got to see a couple of turtles as well. The house was super clean, the property management company was friendly and responsive. Spending our time here with our family and friends was just the perfect vacation.

Excellent place for a quiet vacation on a beautiful island

We stayed here for a company retreat. The rooms were large and comfortable. The king sized beds were also more comfortable that we normally find when using rental listings. The pool was awesome, and the kids played in it from dawn to dusk. The views were amazing. Being on the south end of the island, it was quiet but all of the activities of the island were easily accessible. We would 100% stay here again.

Beautiful big house

The house was very large and easily accommodated our large family reunion. Everything was in wonderful condition and clean and spacious. Beautiful view of the ocean! Would stay there again!

The greatest stay of our lives

I don’t even know where to start, the property is unbelievable. It has everything you could want or need. It was beyond perfect for our large party. The owners were great. Maureen was with us every step of the way. She was the consummate resource of all things Isla. We used Hector for our meals and he was a rock star. If you’re considering this place, book it! You will not regret!!!!

Family gathering

The property is beautiful and the pictures do not show how great it truly is. We had a great time from start to finish. Would recommend for any group needing 8 or more bedrooms.

Perfect retreat for a large group!

We LOVED our stay at Hacienda Caribe! With a group of 20, that included 4 separate families there was never a moment that we felt crowded or in need of something. It offers so many amenities, and each room is a separate suite so everyone had plenty of privacy. It is the equivalent of renting out a 12 suite boutique hotel. We were contacted by the manager while still on the ferry, and she was waiting for us upon our arrival. We were given a complete tour of the property which is beautiful. We rented golf carts to get around the island. The house is located on the "quieter" end of the island, and we frequently visited nearby beaches and restaurants. The pool with its beautiful views and swim up bar was by far everyone's favorite place to be. The property owners recommended a local chef/restaurant who catered several of our delicious meals. Any questions we had were responded to quickly, and we highly recommend staying here!

50th Birthday Trip

My group of 14 people rented this house for 10 glorious days. The house is huge so everyone had their own space. The common areas are great for congregating and the pool/hot tub/swim up bar have the most amazing view! The housekeeping staff is great. They made sure things stayed tidied and helped if we needed anything. Maureen was very helpful during the stay to sort out any minor issues. Each room in the hacienda is self contained with its own coffee maker, refrigerator etc. We also thought is was great that each room in the house (including both main kitchens) comes supplied with a big “Alhambra-style” water dispenser which the staff made sure was always full. One thing that was a bit odd was on about 6 different occasions during our stay while hanging out at the house, random people would just come walking into the breezeway to “take pictures,” “look at the view,” etc. in which we would tell them the place was rented/wasn’t a hotel. The only thing I would recommend is that the owner or property management put a small gate or no trespassing sign up out front to help deter people from just walking in. It was really odd (and almost comical) that it happened so frequently! The area of the island is really nice and all sleeping rooms and common rooms are lockable so we never felt unsafe…it was just a bit odd that random people would feel it’s okay to just waltz into someone’s house. LOL!! No matter though, I would highly recommend this place for any large group! We all didnt want to leave!

Amazing Views and Retreat

There were 17 of us and it was one of the. Eat experiences. We went the the chef recommendation and had 3 dinners and one lunch and everything was GREAT! Cleaning crew was amazing, house manager, no complaints. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Pictures don’t do them justice. We are thinking of making this our annual tradition.

House Rental of a Lifetime - Don’t Miss Out

Our family and friends could have not been more impressed with this rental. It was very convenient having everyone in our travel group together. We traveled to Isla Mujeres to celebrate and host my husband’s 40th birthday. Housekeeping was friendly everyday and kept the property looking fresh - don’t forget to tip the wonderful staff. Hot tub was slightly tricky to turn on the first night and we couldn’t get it to work but we meet the owners the second day of our stay and they were more than happy to show us how to properly work the controls - it was pretty simple. Throughout the week it was easy to communicate with the property manager.

Wonderful stay in Isla!

We had a group of multiple families that stayed here over spring break. We rented the entire property and it was fantastic. The ocean view and pool were absolutely amazing. The suites are very large and clean. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. The decor and furniture is all tasteful, new and comfortable. The two large kitchen spaces are perfect for a group. We enjoyed this side of the island. There are gorgeous views and good restaurants near by. We did go to North beach with golf carts multiple days. There were a couple minor items that we reached out to the management company and they were very prompt in answering questions. Also, there is a cleaning staff their daily from 8-2:00 (not on Sundays). This was helpful as well. Would highly recommend and stay again.

Pretty amazing house!

If you have a larger group this is the house on Isla. Every room is a master suite. Huge pool, very large hot tub. It was perfect for our large group. 2 kitchens, huge patio, ocean waves, we loved it. Alex the house manger was stellar! Don’t hesitate to book this house. We will be back.

50th birthday celebration

Great property for 18 of our friends to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Not only was there plenty of space, it was cleaned daily by the staff. We opted to connect with Javi restaurant for daily breakfast lunch and dinner made and served at the house. Much more cost effective for a group our size not to mention the convenience.
