Spend your day at the beach, out hiking or golfing then back to the condo for a beautiful sunset and BBQ ! Spacious, airy 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath condo with fantastic ocean and mountain views. A short walk down the greenbelt path to both Brennecke's and Poipu beaches and a 15 minute walk back up through the greenbelt to Grand Hyatt/Shipwreck beach area. Beach not your style? Then head for the pool (unobstructed ocean view) or the tennis center. Something for everyone. Most local restaurants and shopping are within walking distance and/or a short drive away (1.5 mi). One of the best locations in all of Poipu with a scenic pool area overlooking the beach.

Beautiful Kauai!

We absolutely loved the location; 5 minute walk to the beach! The whole area is very walkable and not crowded at all! We hope to stay here again

Fabulous place.

The property has access to three great beaches, two pools and many wonderful hikes around the area. The owners are good communicators and have that Aloha spirit. The condo itself is both luxurious and spacious.

This was our first time on Kauai and this unit is in a great location! The deck views of the ocean and the sunset were beautiful. The unit was larger and roomier than I thought, and the kitchen was well stocked. The beach toys/gear were plentiful and of good quality. Some of the rooms were hard to cool down with the stand-alone A/C units, but this is typical of the islands in general. Most places do not have central air conditioning. If you want this, you'll probably want a hotel. Overall, my family enjoyed staying in this property.

This property is the close to Poipu beach. You can walk to see the turtles in the morning and at night. Had all the beach necessities.

This was our fourth time staying in this general area in the last six years. We obviously love the area with its easy access to beautiful Poi Pu beach. We traveled with our son, daughter in law, and two grandsons ages 5 and 7. They stayed on the lower floor and my wife and I used the hide a bed on the upper floor. We made several meals in the kitchen although the upper floor was a bit warm. The bedrooms, bath, and showers on the first floor accommodated all of us. The short walk to the two pools was a perfect way for the boys who are not swimmers to enjoy water (minus sand).

Family Post Christmas Vacation

Property was as described, short walk to Poipu beach, amazing views from living area lanai, spacious, well stocked kitchen, great beach chairs, snorkeling gear, etc. We really enjoyed out stay and would stay there again on a future visit.

Great location and lots of views. Easy to access the beach and turtles everywhere in the Bay. So much fun and gorgeous surroundings. Loved this spot. We will be back!

Amazing location and property!

The condo is in an amazing location and has wonderful views of the ocean. We enjoyed the short walk to Poipu Beach and all of the amenities in the community. John was a great host and very responsive, and provided very helpful information about the location and suggested activities before our stay. We thoroughly loved our stay at this property and would be happy to stay there again!

Beautiful rental on Kauai!

This property has it all… gorgeous views, comfortable lodging with all housing amenities, and the complex is just so beautiful and well maintained! We had a great time, and John was so responsive to our emails. No complaints, I’m so happy that we found this place!!

Beautiful condo near Poipu beach

Beautiful 2 level condo with view of the ocean and short walk to the beach. Equipped with beach chairs, beach umbrella, wagon and snorkeling gear. Master bedroom has nice covered patio area and en suite bathroom.

Best trip ever!

this property is amazing! The owner John is extremely responsive and the unit is fully stocked with everything you need including beach, toys, etc. you can walk down to Poipu Beach in about six minutes and the beach to boogie board at in about four minutes.

Great mont in Poilu

We had a great stay at this great location. We are a family of six with kids of all ranges and it was good for all. We enjoyed daily dips in the two pools and daily walks to the beach. There are walking paths every which way with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The home was great with all the things we needed. AC in the rooms that got the warmest with fans that keep you cool at night. Cooking in the kitchen was easy as they had all the supplies needed. The linens and towels were comfortable. The beach closet was full of stuff to take to Poupi. Parking was easily accessible and close to unit. This is a great place to stay for all reasons!

Clean & great location!

Check-in was easy, the instructions from the owners were spot on. The location was great! We had access to the pool (which hardly anybody was there) so it was nice not having tons of people around. The beach is within walking distance…. And the “beach supplies” that were in the closet were fantastic! From a parents perspective, that was the best thing, by far! Brennecke’s & Kalapaki Joe’s were mere steps away, it was great. The owners were wonderful about communicating with us for help. Over all, I would definitely recommend staying there. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful location

This is a great location with fantastic proximity to the beaches of Poipu. It is a two story condo with bedrooms downstairs and kitchen/living room upstairs. Unfortunately the upstairs is not air conditioned which was a deal breaker for my family. The place was honestly great just too warm. John and Anna were amazing hosts though and were willing to refund us for the nights we didn’t stay for leaving early. Super accommodating and we appreciated it!! Would definitely recommend if you’re not sensitive to the heat. And I should mention they provided many fans as well!

Great location

This is a great condo in a perfect location. Just a short walk to the beach, pool and Brenneckes. The place is clean and the layout worked perfect for us. Just a word of caution, the owner emailed me while I was there and told me if we ran the AC too often he would charge us an additional fee. We specifically looked for condos with AC because my previous bout with cancer has left me sensitive to heat. Nothing was mentioned about this beforehand. It did get pretty warm in the late afternoon. Overall I would recommend this place and the owner was easy to work with. I will definitely rent this again!

Perfect Location

This rental has a view and is a three minute walk to a beach with waves and 5 minute walk from a kid/snorkel beach. As a parent, packing up the kids in the car is a big hassle. The closet in the rental has all of the beach gear and a wagon to get you down there. Food, snacks and shave ice are right across the street. This location is also ideal for friends who want to cook or grab some take out and enjoy the view. My husband and I love running and long walks so the trails and pathways made for some great exercise opportunities. I really did not need to make contact with John while we were there, but he was always responsive before, during, and after our visit. Thank you! We hope to visit again soon!!!

Great Location. Need updates

The location is amazing and the view is great. Owners are quick to answer questions. We knew from past reviews it was dated but I would also say rundown. Bathrooms were clean but that was it. Rusty fans. Duck tape fail fix on the AC unit. Kitchen dirty with almost unusable pans/supplies. Beach chairs are nice all other supplies broken and need replacing. I did give all our issues to the host and they did say they would look into it. So fingers crossed maybe better in the future.

Beautiful views, amazing location

My husband, 14 month old, and I had a wonderful stay at Manualoha #506. The unit is large and a perfect set-up for a family, and the views were amazing. We had all of our meals out on the deck and saw some really special sunsets. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were super comfortable. We loved the pool, hot tub, and the proximity to Poipu Beach (watching the sea turtles was a highlight!) as well as being near to the Maha'ulepu Heritage Trail, which we hiked three times! It was especially hot (upper 80s) while we were there, and the upstairs did get quite warm, but we were very grateful for the air conditioning units in the bedrooms. John was incredibly responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for the baby- a baby gate and pack and play were both available. The closet is fully stocked with beach gear, though we didn't get a chance to use any of it as we were chasing a toddler around. We can't wait to return!

Perfect Location!

This was our first time to Hawaii, so we were out to enjoy as much as we could in the week we had. We had our 8 and 10 year old children with us, and this house couldn't have been more perfect for our family. John and Aana were extremely quick to respond with questions, gave a ton of recommendations (hikes, sightseeing, beaches, restaurants, etc.), and their home is more that equipped with anything and everything you could need. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of extra touches, extra bedding and pillows for the bedrooms, and the games for the kids were perfect (as well as the beach supplies!). The pictures don't even do it justice. We LOVED the views (especially the sunsets!) and enjoyed breakfast outside on the upstairs lanai every morning. Being walking distance to the beaches was amazing. We made the drive up to the north side of the island a couple of days as well as some hikes in the canyon on the west side, so this location is great if you're looking to visit all areas of the island. We absolutely loved our stay and cannot wait to visit again!

incredible location, awesome place to come back and rest

John and Anna's place was wonderful for my family of 5 on our 10-day vacation. It was so nice to come back to a home/condo from the beach (instead of a hotel room) and have a place to put everything. Fully loaded with family items for the beach. Beach chairs, snorkel gear, wagon, umbrella, boogie boards, and beach towels. Having a washer/dryer and all the necessary linens meant we could pack light. Fully loaded kitchen so we could buy groceries instead of eating out every night. Having an upstairs and downstairs gave us space to spread out and get moments of respite (which are necessary on family vacations). We weren't looking for a resort-like vacation but more of a place to call home while we explored the island and this fit the bill perfectly. We also met so many wonderful people at the pool/jacuzzi at night who lived their part time during the year (a little community). So close to brenneke's that our kids (ages: 5, 8 and 10) could walk to the beach with all gear in tow and didn't complain about how far they had to walk. John was super responsive and helpful messaging me along the way.

We first visited Kaua'i in 1996, were engaged there and have since had many memorable trips with family and our two boys (now young adults). When the boys were younger, some of our favorite moments revolved around the Poipu Beach area; snorkeling, swimming or just relaxing in the early evening watching the sunsets. Several years ago we started looking into property ownership and fell in love with the Manualoha complex due to it's location, great views and well manicured grounds. We're excited about owning here and invite you to come share in the wonderful Poipu experience!
