"Minnie" Getaway

Spent the weekend at disney with my boyfriend. The location was not bad at all (about a 20 min drive) and the property was nice. The condo itself is very spacious, beautiful, and clean. Communication with the owner was super easy. Highly recommended!

Amazing place - Just as advertised!

What an incredible home! Everything was just as advertised! After a long day at the parks it was nice to get home and enjoy the amenities of the property. Our host was also very communicative and attentive to what we needed. The best part is that it is super close to the parks and places to eat. It won’t disappoint!

Great stay

The property is in a good location. Quiet area with a lot of great restaurants nearby. There are a few things that should be fixed. The toilet in the front bathroom will not flush, it drains super slow. The dishwasher makes such loud noises that I stopped using it after 2 days, luckily I don’t cook much while in Florida so it wasn’t too bad. The air conditioner died so Maribel had a new one put in. The condo furnishings are nice. Plenty of places to sit and eat.

Perfect location for Disney

This apartment is perfect for a family of 3 or 4 visiting the Disney parks. the living room and kitchen are spacious. It even has a balcony, which we did not use as it was a bit cool in the mornings and evenings. Communication with Maria was easy and pleasant.

Lovely location

Cozy, well stocked, quiet. Great location for Disney parks! Excellent communication with owner for check in. We had no problems whatsoever and will return! Responding to other reviews, I appreciate the owner conserving energy with a request to turn on/off the water heater (you flip a light switch and it heats fast) and set AC at 78 upon departure. Very easy to do.

Foul Floor

Overall everything was clean and communication was great but the floor was absolutely filthy. Walking bare in the property made my feet black and I got a splinter in my foot day before Disney not the best experience. Carpet needed a scrub and hot water extraction cleaning. Will not be staying again.

Comfy condo. Luxurious Master suite!

Owner has done a great job with cleanliness and decor. Plenty of extras such as every type of pillow. Pans, coffee makers, laundry etc. Ready to live in. Working class neighbors are quiet and no bother at all. Location was great for me because I wanted SW of town to shorten my trip from Naples. The pool is excellent. Good tennis court. Time to fix/update the fitness room. Cute balcony that I never had time to use. I would do it all again!

Close to everything

The property is close to disney and very quiet. If you are looking for a quiet place without a lot happening, this is the place for you. We enjoyed the balcony a lot and I really enjoyed the over stuffed reading chair in the master bedroom. I sat there quite often. Please note: this is on the second floor, so be prepared for that. If I could give any feedback it would be that there is not a lot of care taken with cleanliness or details (no hand soap in the bathrooms, dishes had been put away dirty, its time for a new couch, etc.) Those small details make a big difference. One other thing would be the dishwasher- it is VERY loud and were concerned that it may be broken.

Just Okay

The Host was very responsive and gave specific check-in/check-out instructions. The location was also convenient to stores and amusement parks. The cleanliness was the downside. There were lots of random hairs all over the apartment. The front toilet flushes really slow and is not efficient. The comforter and sheets looked really worn and need to be replaced. Same for some of the towels and washcloths. In the master shower there were also quite a few random strands of hair, and no hand soap in either bathroom, so we just went out and bought some. Only stayed for 2 nights so we didn't even bother complaining as the host is not in the area. The cleaning person or company needs to do a MUCH better job on the upkeep of the property.

Nice area but not clean

We stated just shy of a week. Check in was easy and great for our late night arrival. Unfortunately the unit was very dirty/dusty. Either it had been quite some time since it had been stated in so not recently cleaned or the cleaning company is not very good/thorough. Dust on many surfaces. Dirty dishes put away in the cupboards, we had to wash any items we wanted to use before using them. The drying racks were gross so we couldn’t use them at all. The en-suite bathroom also had mold all over the shower curtain. I know it’s Florida she often muggy but to not clean the curtain or replace it regularly becomes a health hazard. Also mold around many of the windows. I feel bad for the own as they may not know the state of their rental condo. I would recommend a deep cleaning and looking into a different cleaning company. Also the bathroom light in the en-suite was burned out. The location was fine, quite for the most part, and easy to get to. It was a little further from the parks than we were expecting due to the traffic in the area. So just be aware when booking that you’ll need to allow extra time if driving during local rush hour or high traffic days. Would consider renting again if the cleanliness/mold was addressed.

Book It!!!

This was a great first experience. Pros: The unit looked exactly like the pictures. If you have small kids, they will have plenty of stuffed animals to play with. The place was spotless. No gunk under the rim of the toilets or sinks. The shower and tub were white, not dingy. The refrigerator looked new on the inside. The kitchen includes EVERYTHING you will need (except spices). We didn't cook, but if you plan on cooking she has a ton of pots and pans. She pretty much has everything you would have "at home" -includes cups, plates, etc. There is a terrace if you'd like to eat outside. We didn't use it because we always ate out but it seemed to be a decent size. The neighborhood was safe and neighbors were extremely quiet. There is a CVS, Walmart, restaurants, etc. nearby. Cons: The lock on the door is tricky. It always took us a few minutes to enter the apartment. It wasn't that big of a deal since the neighborhood felt safe so we didn't mention it to the host. It is on the second floor and the complex does not have elevators. We did not need an elevator, but I do feel this should be advertised for those who may be utilizing a wheelchair or can not handle two flight of stairs. You have to manually turn the water heater on before showering (her rules) and turn it off afterwards. I understand this saves money, but it was kind of a pain. On a positive note, the hot water was hot for the duration of all of our showers. :-) The sofa was uncomfortable so if you plan on using the pull out bed it may not be the best idea. I think the springs need to be replaced. Some of the bulbs were blown so it was kind of dim in the bedrooms. It wasn't that big of a deal since we spent most of our time out and about, but if you plan on staying in it may be an issue for you (I love bright spaces.) The bathroom door in the master bedroom SLIDES. I felt like such an idiot because thought the area didn't have a door since the space was kind of small. On the bright side, I realized there was a door soon than later LOL You have to remember to leave the thermostat at 78 when you check out (her rules). Overall, the stay was amazing for the price and we will DEFINITELY book again!! Everything was accurate. The only suggestion I have is to include rules in the description and inform everyone that the unit is on the 2nd floor.

Loved renting this apartment. Tons of space and close to Disney parks. Tons of kitchen tools and dishes, although we only used for breakfast. On second floor, but no one upstairs. Assigned parking close to stairs. Lots of towels and fun decor. In regards to switch for water heater, not a big deal, hot water right away once turned on. Master bed was big. Stove worked well. Air conditioner worked well too. Overall a wonderful experience. Thank you for sharing your home.
