Enjoyed our last minute stay. Heron bay is a nice relaxing spot to enjoy the balcony view of the lake.

First Time at the Lake of the Ozarks

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was super clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and we loved relaxing on the deck with a lake view. Check-in was a little tricky at first, and the fitted sheet kept popping off the bed, but nothing that ruined our stay. We’d definitely come back!

It was a very relaxing and clean condo! The host was very kind and communicative with ANY questions with had! We’d definitely stay again! And it is right on the lake with a great view!

fun little spot!

Great location and would’ve been perfect if it had only been cleaned. Cleaning felt lazy there was food crusted on utensils in drawer, wet laundry in the washer, hair on floor and sink and many other little things.

The Fourth of July Vacay with family 2024

We really enjoyed our stay, it’s a nice unit with some updates but not fully remodeled. The dishwasher, blinds and soap dispenser were broken. Shower caddy is rusted, vent is falling from the ceiling. Floor was still sticky after the cleaning crew! Wasn’t expecting to enter the unit through the bedroom. Over all view is great and pool was nice! Pool party was fun, wish we know about it sooner. Everyone made us feel welcome. Great fishing off the docks! Close to restaurants. Owner gave us a credit for the broken amenities, and was very nice! We appreciate it!

Great stay! Great host!

We have stayed at this property numerous times for many years, just not at this unit. It has been updated and the sofa sleeper was the best we have ever slept on. Those are usually terrible. Very clean and had everything we needed. (TP, towels, dish soap, cooking supplies, etc.) No grill, which we always use; however, host was quick to explain that the HOA has now voted to remove them. If you are used to this property like we are, this is new. She was flexible w times, as no one was scheduled to check in after us and that was appreciated. This property is a very convenient location on the lake whether you have a boat or just your car. This is a quiet property, so not a party zone, but my 19 and 22 year old sons still love it here. You can easily just float around or kayak a little, as it is back in a cove. I also had a personal issue while renting, and the host went above expectations to help me resolve! Cost was very comparable to the other units as well, and it was all new.

Decent condo but not well maintained IMO

Well the Wi-Fi password provided is inaccurate, then there’s the cleanliness or lack thereof. I shouldn’t have to sweep toenail clippings and dust the place upon arrival. Heron Bay is always a great place to stay and the condo is nice enough, but is lacking that extra effort required on the owners part to ensure a joyful stay. I literally had to go to Casey’s and get a battery for the smoke detector to shut it up, I have no problem with these minor inconveniences if not for the fact that there’s fees charged that are supposed to prevent the visitors from having to be inconvenienced. Another eg. No coffee but creamer and nice coffee maker provided. Other than these things I had great time and the place was nice, I would personally rather have a tv in bedroom than the porch but that’s just me. The canopy covers on the deck are a nice touch, grill looked nice and newish etc. In all I think this place is priced on the mark pretty much but they could get more if put in that little extra.

Hi Zach, As soon as I read your review, we went to the store to get supplies! We had not thought about batteries. We also shared your review with the cleaning lady. As far as the Wi-Fi, it has never been changed, and is the one the router box, I know we have had a few people struggle with the “i””l” sounds like we need to change the password. The new renovation was spot on. I have stayed in numerous units in this complex but this was the nicest. My only complaint was I had too many stairs for my bum knees.
